Milestones: Exit-Sustainability Plan and Road map Govt commitment in the approved document : TAPP, Page 57-58 (Ref. July 7, 2020, Working committee on Country-wide scaling up, LGD Country-wide Scaling up of Village Court operation 2022-27 18 March 2024 – Initial Sharing Meeting: First multi-stakeholder discussion on the Exit & Sustainability Plan for their comments. (presided by Addl Secretary, LGD, NPD, JS & SAS-UP section, JS- PMIE NILG and PMU-AVCB III) 5 December 2024 – 3 rd PIC consultation: Draft plan shared and endorsed by the PIC members, i ) advice to form a review committee to finalize the plan engaging relevant dept/ministries in consultation ii) JS-UP section hold the responsibility of VC iii) GO to DC and UNO to ensure support for VC iv) SC representative recommended to include DLAO in VC monitoring following their similar engagement in dist. Level v) EU emphasized to develop a road map of ESP/visible structure to monitor its implementation for VC sustainability vi) LJD representative VC system would significantly alleviate the backlog cases within the formal court system, collaboration with NLASO will enhance effectiveness of VC, use help line number (16430) to disseminate of VC information 5–7 January 2025 – Plan Shared Widely: Collaborative consultations held with DDLG and relevant ministries ( MoPA , MoLJPA , MoIB , NILG and LGD ministry), robust plan and draft road map 5 May 2025 – Review Committee Formed: 6-members committee established to lead the review process. 10 July 2025- First meeting held and suggested to organize an extended meeting including different sections of the LGD, official launch of review actions, building on previous milestones and guiding the way forward 16 July 2025- Extended ESP Review committee meeting: Key issue will elaborately be discussed, especially VC desk formation, oversight monitoring of judiciary and resource mobilization. NPD madam and president of the committee proposed to organize workshop (outside of Dhaka) including extended team of LGD and focal points of misnitries

Section-2: Institutionalization of the Capacity Building A. Formation of a Committee to review existing training courses and budgetary requirement of NILG to continue CB initiatives for the UP functionaries.
