CHAPTER ONE
A DIFFERENT PLANET

I’m Robbie, I’m a friendly alien. I’m twenty – two
years old and I live on Mars with my relatives and
friends. I’m very intelligent and I like traveling to
different planets to learn about them. I visit many
galaxies and stars in my new spaceship. This
spaceship is really fast. Now, I want to visit an
exciting planet. Its name is Earth and it’s

beautiful, on this planet there´re different
creatures and things. There’re many animals,
plants, and humans.
Humans are very intelligent. They can do
everything. They have a wonderful planet but
they don’t protect it. There’s a lot of garbage on
the streets, smoke in the air, rivers are dirty in the
cities and there isn’t much water to drink.
Robbie: I want to stay on Earth for some days
because I’m on vacation. I want to visit some
cities, towns, beaches, parks, etc. but I don’t like
contamination, Mars is clean and safe because all
aliens protect our communities and our
environment. My planet is perfect.

CHAPTER TWO
A MERCHANT IN A
MARKET
There’re many markets and stores to buy and sell
groceries, fruits, and vegetables in this city.
Robbie: On my planet, we don’t have markets
because all that we need is free. I like fruit, apples
are delicious, I want to drink orange juice because
I’m thirsty. I can see many merchants here.
They’re selling their products and they look like
friendly people, so I want to talk to a merchant
about the city.

Robbie: Hello!
Merchant: Hi!
Robbie: Can I ask you something?
Merchant: Of course.
Robbie: What do you do?
Merchant: I work here in this market I sell fruit
like oranges, bananas, apples, grapes, and pears.
Robbie: And, why are the streets full of garbage?
Merchant: Because people don’t have good
habits, they throw away paper, boxes, and bottles
on the streets, and for that reason, the streets are
dirty.
Robbie: And, why do people do that? It’s your
city.
Merchant: That’s right. It’s our city but most
people don’t take care of the city.
Robbie: I see it’s a big problem in this place.

Merchant: There’re many laws, but people don’t
want to obey the law. That’s the problem.
Merchant: And, What do you do here?
Robbie: I live on Mars but I’m in this city
because I want to find a peaceful and clean place
to stay for some weeks.
Merchant: Really? And Do you like this city?
Robbie: I don’t like it. There’re too many cars,
garbage is everywhere and it isn’t a good city. I
want to stay in another place.
Merchant: Why don’t you go to the countryside?
It’s a peaceful place to stay.
Robbie: Thank you! I want to go there!




CHAPTER THREE

A TAXI DRIVER IN A CITY







Robbie: There’re many taxis here, so I want to
talk to a taxi driver. He can help me. They know
the city and have many stories to tell. I think a
taxi driver can tell me about the right place to
stay.

Robbie: Morning!
Taxi driver: Good morning. Sir! Where do you
want to go?
Robbie: I want to go to a quiet and peaceful
place. Its name is the countryside.
Taxi driver: Really? I know a place that is
perfect for you. Get in the car, let’s go.
Robbie: Tell me. How is that place? Is it clean?
Is it big?
Taxi driver: Yes, It is. There’re big trees, many
flowers, and a river too. It’s really beautiful
because of the nature and the landscapes you can
see.
Robbie: That’s great!
Taxi driver: We’re about to arrive. Please, It’s
fifteen dollars.
Robbie: Are you sure? I think it’s expensive.
Taxi driver: We’re in a big city, Sir. Everything
is expensive here.

Robbie: Ok. Here you are.
Taxi driver: Great! This is the place, now get out
of the car and walk one block, the countryside is
over there.
Robbie: Oh, Thank you very much. But wait for
a second! Wait! It isn’t the countryside, there
aren’t trees or flowers.
Robbie isn’t in the countryside; there aren’t
flowers or trees. There’re many old cars, lots of
garbage and some people work in that place, they
collect some bottles and paper.
Robbie: Hey guys. What do you do here?
Worker: We work here we collect different
bottles, paper, cardboard, and metal.
Robbie: But, everything is dirty, there’re many
flies and everything is disgusting.
Worker: That’s right but it’s our job. We sell
these materials and we receive some money.
We’re very poor people and we need this money
to live.

Robbie: I see your job is really dangerous for
you.
Worker: Yes, Sir but We need the money to pay
the bills.
Robbie: That’s terrible.
Very poor people work in bad conditions for long
hours in a contaminated place. These people need
to use special clothes and tools to work. This
work isn’t good.

CHAPTER FOUR
A FARMER AND A
FACTORY
Robbie can’t find the right place to stay. He sees a
very long highway. There’re many cows and
sheep in the field. They’re eating some grass and
they look happy. There’s a farmer working there.
Robbie: Morning! Do you live here?
Farmer: Hello! Yes, this is my farm. I have
many animals here, cows, sheep, ducks, hens,
turkeys, and my favorite pet Rex. It’s my dog.
Robbie: I think it’s a wonderful place, it’s a quiet
and peaceful farm to live in.
Farmer: That’s right, but there’s a factory over
there and our water is contaminated. Many people
live here in bad conditions. In the factory,
workers use some materials and chemists.
They’re dangerous for our water.

Robbie: Oh no, It’s really terrible. It’s dangerous
for you and your animals, too.
Farmer: That’s right. My animals can’t drink that
water from the river. That water isn’t good.
Robbie: I see these lands and water are
contaminated too. On my planet, we protect our
resources and lands because it’s the place where
we live. I don’t understand these people.
Farmer: and, what are you doing here?
Robbie: I want to find a quiet, clean, and
peaceful place to stay, but I can’t.
Farmer: These lands aren’t good because of the
factory.

Robbie and the farmer continue walking and see
something on the road. They run and see that one
of the farmer’s sheep is on the road. It’s dead.
Robbie: Is it yours?
Farmer: Yes, It is. My poor sheep is dead. This
is what happens when my animals drink water
from the river. They die.
Robbie: So, What can you do? Your animals are
dying.
Farmer: I can’t do anything. Please, help me!

CHAPTER FIVE
A SURFER ON THE
BEACH
There’s no good place for Robbie. He can’t find a
quiet and peaceful place to stay. He sees a woman
on the beach. Maybe, she can tell Robbie where
there’s a perfect place for him.
Surfer: Hey… what’s up bro?
Robbie: Hello!
Surfer: Do you want to surf?
Robbie: No, thanks. I’m not a surfer. I’m looking
for a perfect place to stay. Can you help me?
Surfer: This beach is perfect. There’re many
surfers here. We’re here five times a week
because we love this sport. It’s part of our lives.
It’s our passion.

Robbie: I can see there’s a lot of garbage in the
sand, there’re plastic bags, many cans, and some
bottles.
Surfer: People come to spend some time on the
beach and they throw away garbage on the sand.
Robbie: This beach is beautiful but garbage is a
problem for all the people and the environment.
Surfer: Yes, of course. It’s a big problem.
Robbie: You don’t like this mess, but you don’t
do anything to protect the beach.
Surfer: What can I do bro? I don’t throw away
garbage on the sand but people come and do it all
the time.
Robbie: I think planet Earth is great, but people
are crazy, you’re contaminating your home. Don’t
be stupid! This isn’t a good planet for me!

CHAPTER SIX
TIME TO LEAVE
There’s no right place for Robbie, everything is
dirty and contaminated. He’s on our planet for
many days and he can’t find a good place.
Robbie: It’s time to leave this planet. I don’t like
it and it’s impossible to live in these conditions. I
want to come back to my planet right now.
Robbie decides to go to the place where his
spaceship is but he discovers something really
terrible.

Robbie: Oh my God, It isn’t possible… My
spaceship isn’t complete. Where’s the engine? I
can’t see the wheels. Where are the seats? What
happens here?
His spaceship isn’t complete, maybe a thief is
responsible for this and he can’t repair it because
on planet Earth there aren’t these spaceships. He
sees that it’s impossible to leave planet Earth.
Robbie: Oh no. What can I do? I can’t come back
to Mars so I have to stay and live here but I need
a house, a car, and some money to live. I need a
job.
Robbie has to live on our planet so he needs to
work to get some money. He can’t go back to his
planet because his spaceship isn’t complete.
Some months later…
Robbie buys his own car and becomes a taxi
driver because he needs the money to live. He
wants to save money to repair his spaceship so he
has different jobs. In the morning he drives his
taxi, and at night he is a waiter in a restaurant.

He's like a human doing the same activities that
we do.
Finally, Robbie gets a lot of money. He can buy a
new engine, seats, and wheels for his spaceship
and he’s ready to leave Earth.
Robbie: This planet is beautiful but Humans
aren’t good. They don’t love their home. They’re
crazy. Good Bye Earth.
