Nitin ranked 18 th in a class of 49 students. What is his ranking from the bottom of the class?

In a queue, a boy is 19 th from either of the ends, how many are there in the queue?

In a class of 50 students Mary’s rank is 8 th from the top, Henry’s is 20 th from the bottom. How many students are there between Mary and Henry?

In a row of boys, Haran is 11 th from the left, and Manoj is 17 th from the right. If they interchange their places, Haran will become 13 th from the left, then what will be the new position of Manoj from the right?

In a row, A is 10 th from the left and B is 9 th from the right. If they interchange their positions, A becomes 15 th from the left. How many are there in the row?

Amrita is 10 th from the front of the queue while Mukul is 25 th from rear of the queue. Mamta is exactly between the two. If there are 50 persons in the queue, what is the position of Mamta from the front of the queue?
