POSTER DESIGN
Use the following instructions while preparing your poster:
 Theme of the Poster could be any activity or issue
related with social awareness.
 Dimensions of the poster shall be 33.11 × 23.39 inches
(a full size drawing sheet).
 Your display should include title and name of the
author(s). You are thus suggested to keep sufficient
blank space on the poster for it.
 You have complete freedom in displaying your
information in figures, tables, text, photography, etc.
Figures should be designed to be viewed from a
distance and you should use clear visible graphics
and large type.
 The presentation must cover the details described in
the synopsis.
 Poster should be affixed on a thermocol sheet of
proper size.
 BRING YOUR OWN pushpins. DO NOT use velcro,
tape, or staples to mount your poster.
PRESENTATION:
 Participants must remain present in the hall
an hour before the scheduled time of the
contest
 You must be well informed about your
subject and shall be able to answer
questions raised by the viewers and the
panel of examiners, regarding your poster.
 Posters should be attached on the poster
stands with special tape that will be
provided by the organisers.
 For creating favourable impact the
presenters can offer the viewers handouts
containing the core facts of concerned
presentation.
 Presence of the presenter/s is not
compulsory on the Exhibition Day.
Posters will not be returned to the presenter unless
and until the results of contest are formally
declared.

REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT:
 Before presentation, student should prove his/her
identity as a F.E. Student.
 You should submit a synopsis describing main
features of the subject to be presented on the
poster.
 All participants must register by paying the
registration fees Rs.100/- on or before the contest.

OBJECTIVES:
1. To instill social awareness into the young minds.
2. To make the students communicate through
pictographical means.
3. To have first hand experience of team behaviour.
4. To instigate research attitude among the budding
technocrats.
5. To enhance creativity through a co-curricular
activity.

PRIZES:
First Prize : Rs. 2000/-
Second Prize : Rs. 1500/-
Third Prize : Rs. 1000/-
Five Consolation Prizes: Rs. 750/- each
