Being Sanjay L eela Bhansali CARING LOVABLE WORKAHOLIC BRAIN STORMER AGGRESSIVE PURE AND SIMPLE ELEGANT LIFE

HE ♥’s MOTHER Bhansali has adopted the middle name "Leela" as a tribute to his mother, Leela Bhansali. He also likes his dog. He tries to imply his personal life situations in his movies. Some where his real life and his reel life are connected to each other. He gets to experience the emotions ( romance, fathers love ) through films. For him Music is like oxygen to work. “ He needs music even to breath ! ” Pure , simple yet a very complex minded person. Person who likes a warm atmosphere.( reflected in his movie sets ) Loves Indian tradition and values. Don’t like to socialize - like to stay alone. He is know for his larger than life artistic perspective.

The Complex SANJAY He is obsessed with is work. He looses his temper when some tries to break it. Enemy is himself, always likes to compete or do better then his enemy. He compiles the broken pieces of his life making it into a master piece ( his films inspiration) Thinks of a lots of thinks in the same time. He is not a person how stays only in the past/ present / future… his world is completely imaginary. He likes to stay in a calm simple small place when not working , but when he is out at work he would like to see extra large fantasy or imaginary spaces.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali Key -Detailing The way he details and characterizes women in his films makes them look like art pieces. His huge dramatic sets, his detailing of characters and surroundings made every shot of his film live in peoples mind . Sanjay’s films create magic at the box office not just for the cast, music or plot, but also for the lavish sets . He has put in years of research and constructed larger-than-life sets

Sanjay Leela Bhansali visualizations Detailing in his characters

The sets were designed keeping in mind the 1930’s backdrop . Like the characters and costumes ,The sets in the movie were like dream. Devdas’s   house was a typical British house with huge pillars, set in yellow- green lighting Paro’s   house on the other hand was a  haveli  with long corridors and coloured glasses. Perhaps this was one of the costliest sets made in Indian cinema .

The movie relied heavily on visual language to convey its message. The over-all colour of the film was blue and greens This set is an elegant piece of art work.

Sanjay recreated a rustic look for Ram- leela . Set in the rural beauty of a Gujarati village, the sets were designed in shades of brown, red and yellow . The movie brought to light the director’s eye for details, grandeur and colour.

Sanjay put in years of research to construct the sets for the film. Bajirao’s   darbar  had pillars as tall as 50 feet, with water streams on either side . The Aina Mahal in the film was constructed with countless pieces of mirrors and 4000 planks, which were sourced from Jaipur.

“ SLB ” chair love for art P urity That’s a very little information About larger than life SLB

my LIFE MAY BE "UNFULFILLED", BUT IT ISN'T "Unhappy". Sanjay Leela Bhansali
