Money is important. Without it, you couldn’t acquire your everyday necessities. Without it, you wouldn’t be able to indulge yourself by purchasing the luxury items you want. Without money, it would be rather hard to survive in this money driven society.

Students Tips to Budget and Save your Money 1 . Cut on your commuting expense

2. Walk more

3. Eat outside the school

4. Put away the extra money from your baon

5. Make smart investment

ACTIVITY: Ask the participants to bring out their list of expenses. From this list, which expenses can be given up for a day? Call some participants to share which of their expenses can be sacrificed and how much they can save. Ask them what they think is the importance of saving money for future needs.

Spending money everyday is part of life. It is important to know how to spend money correctly. It is also important to remember that the money we spend should be in proportion to the amount of money we earn. Expenses should not exceed the amount of money we have on hand. It is not right to loan for other expenses which are not necessary.
