Selection Procedure
Phase-I : Preliminary Examination: consisting of Objective Tests for 100 marks will be conducted online. This test would be of 1 hour duration consisting of 3 Sections as follows: NAME OF TEST NO. OF QUESTION MARKS DURATION ENGLISH LANGUAGE 30 30 QUANTITATIVE 35 35 REASONING 35 35 TOTAL 100 100 COMPOSITE TIME OF 1 HOURS Number of candidates in each category as decided by the Bank. W ill be short listed for the Main Examination.
Phase – II: Main Examination : Main Examination will consist of Objective Tests for 200 marks and Descriptive Test for 50 marks. Both the Objective and Descriptive Tests will be online. (I) Objective Test: The objective test of 3 hours duration consist of 4 Sections for total 200 marks. The objective test will have separate timing for every section. The candidates are required to qualify in each of the Tests by securing passing marks, to be decided by the Bank. NAME OF TEST NO. (ii) Descriptive Test: The Descriptive Test of 30 minutes duration with 50 marks will be a Test of English Language (Letter Writing & Essay). The candidates are required to qualify in the Descriptive Test by securing passing marks, to be decided by the Bank. Phase – III: Group Exercises (20 marks) & Interview (30 marks) The aggregate marks of candidates qualifying in both the Objective Tests and Descriptive Test will be arranged in descending order in each category. Results of the candidates who have qualified for Group Exercises & Interview and the list of candidates finally selected will be made on the Bank's website. Final select list will be published in Employment News and also in Bank’s website.

Home Travel Concession / Leave Fare Concession : The officers are eligible for leave fare concession and it can be taken in a block of 2 years according to the choice of the employee. The officers in scale 1 are eligible for reimbursement of fare in AC II-tier of trains . Concessional rate of interest for loans : SBI employees are eligible for loan under staff scheme in concessional rate of interest for housing loans, car loans etc. Moreover, the rate of interest for deposits is also 1% more than the general public for the staff members
Medical Benefits : The employees in SBI enjoy a medical benefit scheme, unmatched in the public sector. There is 100% reimbursement for self treatment whereas 75% of the total amount is reimbursed if the treatment has been done for the dependent of the employee. Moreover, the bank has tie-up with some of the best medical facilities around the country and employees are eligible for cashless treatment in these places Furniture Allowance : This benefit is for officers as the bank provides a one-time grant to the officers for furnishing of residence and also an annual maintenance charge for the same. Presently, a scale I officer is entitled to get Rs 150000 for furnishing of residence.
Lease Facility : The officers are eligible to get lease accommodation in their place of posting. The lease rental ceiling is very attractive in SBI as it pays around 30000/- for lease accommodation in Mumbai, the highest among all the public sector banks.

Training and awareness among emp loyees : that State Bank of India conducts various training programs for the employees, so that they will get aware with the terms of internet banking. After such programs they create awareness amongst the consumers Exchange of information on threats at appropriate forms : There’s an open end discussion on the threats and vulnerabilities coming across the functioning of internet banking work by the employees in the various official forums and meets .
Bank should anticipate and get prepared for regulatory changes : Laws regarding IT or cyber laws get change as per the need. SBI anticipate such kind of changes and get loaded with various plans and actions .
