4. The word Science came from the Latin word scientia, which means, “having knowledge'. Lets talk about it!

5. MISSION Among the scientist who conributed a lot to science is Plato and Aristotle. Plato beleived that the highest human faculty is reason and Aristotle agreed to this. Aristotle practiced detailed observation ans dissection of plants and animals to further understand the natural world.

6. MISSION Galileo , credited as the father of Scientific Method, work through experiments to validate his ideas. The vital purpose of doing and learning science is to explain daily phenomena and derive models of reality.

They used the power coming from a volcano near the town of Tiwi which became the first geothermal power generated in the Philippines.
