I am thrilled to share that I have successfully completed my summer internship with the MeitY project titled 'Secure and Energy Efficient Mixed Domain Compute in Memory-based AI Accelerator Chip for Edge Applications.' During this internship, I focused on designing a high-speed, low-power 4-bit SAR Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) using 45nm technology in Cadence Virtuoso. Key components of my project included: 🔧 2-Stage Operational Amplifier: Developed a high-gain, low-power opamp for the comparator design. 🔧 4-bit Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC): Designed to convert digital signals to analog. 🔧 Sample and Hold Circuit: Implemented to maintain the input signal for accurate conversion. 🔧 SAR Logic Block: Designed the Successive Approximation Register (SAR) logic for the ADC. I am now in the process of integrating all these blocks to complete the ADC design. This experience has been incredibly enriching, allowing me to apply my theoretical knowledge to practical scenarios and enhance my skills in analog design.
