Obviously we are not a church full of body builders.. at least not in the physical sense. But we should be a church full of body builders in the spiritual sense. Because in this we are recognized as true Christian.

4. To be a Body builder Ephesians 4:11 It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, 12 to prepare God’s people for works of service,

5. To be a Body builder so that the body of Christ may be built up 13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

6. Metaphoric Concept • It contains a wealth of information in one term. • “The Body” is a Key concept of the churc h • We are all part of the whole.

7. 1. "SPIRITUAL MENTORS" Vs. 11: And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers. – Ephesians 4:11

8. 2. "SPIRITUAL WORKOUTS" Vs. 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ. – Ephesians 4:12

9. 3. "SPIRITUAL TRAINING" Vs. 13-14 Until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. – Ephesians 4:13-14

10. 4. "SPIRITUAL GROWTH THROUGH SPEAKING TRUTH IN LOVE" Vs. 15: Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. – Eph. 4:15

11. 5. "SPIRITUAL TEAM OF BODYBUILDERS" Vs. 16 From whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love. – Ephesians 4:16
