ADDITIONAL ACTIVITY/APPLICATION To maximize the 4 hours allotted time for this session and to further deepen the knowledge of participants in computing scores for ETE and Performance , the assigned Resource Person shall develop and conduct similar activity focusing on Master Teacher I position in addition to the existing activity included herein. Materials shall also be provided by the assigned resource person TEACHER STANDARDS ASSESSORS PROGRAM Expanded Career Progression System for Teachers * Delete this slide once done
Session Objectives At the end of the session, the participants shall have: discussed Education, Training, and Experience (ETE) and performance as criteria for reclassification of position; applied the use of the Increments Table and rubric in assessing the ETE qualifications of applicants; and computed accurately the performance rating of applicants for reclassification. TEACHER STANDARDS ASSESSORS PROGRAM Expanded Career Progression System for Teachers
Activity: Computing Accurate ETE Points Instructions: Each group will be given the following materials: Activity Sheet No. 1 – Teacher Jay Increments Table ETE Rubrics QS for Teacher IV Based on the QS, compute the ETE points of the applicant. Discuss among your group the process of arriving at the ETE points . TEACHER STANDARDS ASSESSORS PROGRAM Expanded Career Progression System for Teachers
Let’s Check! How did you find the activity? TEACHER STANDARDS ASSESSORS PROGRAM Expanded Career Progression System for Teachers 5. How will this help in your task as a member of the training/selection team? 2. What helped you compute for the correct ETE points? 3. What difficulties have you encountered in computing the ETE? 4. What do you need to do to master the use of increments table?

Rubrics for Computation of Education , Training , and Experience Based on the Qualification Standards 30 points Education Training Experience The points for ETE, corresponding to the applicant’s qualifications exceeding the QS , shall be computed using the Increments Table and the ETE Rubrics . Only those qualifications that are relevant to the position to be filled shall be given points. Training hours must be acquired after the last promotion but within five years. TEACHER STANDARDS ASSESSORS PROGRAM Expanded Career Progression System for Teachers
Increments Table A tool used in determining the incremental level in the education, training, and experience obtained by the applicant to assess if it exceeds the minimum requirement per CSC-approved Qualification Standards (QS). This can be found in DO 007, s. 2023 TEACHER STANDARDS ASSESSORS PROGRAM Expanded Career Progression System for Teachers
Increment = Applicants’ Qualification Level – QS Level Increment refers to the difference between the applicant’s actual qualification level and the corresponding level of the minimum (baseline) QS requirement of the position to be filled. Only ETE qualifications that are relevant to the position applied for and which exceed the minimum (baseline) QS requirements of the position will be included in the computation of increments . The Rubric a tool in which the criteria for evaluating ETE are listed with corresponding points per range of increments. The Assessors Manual provides for the rubrics in the computation of ETE.
