Overview:ShuheiHisagi’sBankaiisanaturalprogressionofbothhispersonalityandthe
natureofhisweapon.ThroughoutBleach,HisagiwieldsauniqueZanpakutōwith
dual-bladedscythes(Kazeshini),whichembodiestheconceptofdeathanddestruction.His
relationshipwithhisZanpakutōhasalwaysbeenoneofcontradiction—heisapacifistat
heartbutwieldsaweaponsymbolizingthegrimreaper.
TheBankai’sForm:
InHisagi’sBankai,thetwinscythesevolveintotwomassive,shadowybladesthatseemto
beextensionsofhisownbody.They’reconnectedbyanetherealchainmadeofenergythat
flowsbetweentheblades,resemblingKazeshini’sShikai,butfarmoreominous.TheBankai
