Karma 3
The life is getting mechanical and too demanding with
unachievable expectations at the educational level, percentage,
choice of subjects, courses, admissions, job, business, success
and failures. Expectations of good life style, maladjustment with
life partner etc., there are scores of reasons that break a person to
take the step of suicides.
There are numerous instances where youngsters appearing in
10th or 12th board examination have committed suicides. There
are so many boys and girls who are unable to get jobs or the newly
married too took the step of suicides. Every parent is worried
about their children at the time of examinations and various
situations of life.
In our Vedas, a healthy and stress free life of 100 years is promised.
Therefore, we, as a human being and as a society will fail if we
are unable to help the stressed and depressed persons to lead a life
of success, peace, happiness and fulfillment .
So following are the Horoscope and Vaastu defects of suicidal
tendencies and suicides:
1. If the 1st and 7th houses are very week.
2. If there are planets in 1st and 7th houses in their fall.
3. If either of the 1st or 7th house has a planet in fall, and the other
house receives aspect of fall, the person or life partner commits
suicide.
4. If both the lords of 1st and 7th houses are in fall. Or if one of the
houses has a planet in its fall and the lord of other house receives
an aspect of fall the person commits suicide.
5. If the Moon and Sun, both or one of them have the influence of
Mars or/and Saturn, the person commits suicide.
6. If the lord of the 7th house and Sun are in fall, and if Sun
is under malefic influence of Mars or/and Saturn, the person
commits suicide.
7. If the ascendant i.e., lagna lord is a natural benefic planet, and
is placed in the 11th house with Rahu or Ketu, and also Sun and
Moon both are in the influence of Saturn, the person commits
suicide.
The following are the factors regarding the house which lead to
suicidal tendencies and suicides:
1. If at the time of inauguration of construction, there are coal,
ash, human or animal dead bodies or Tantrik totkas kriyas, black
magic etc., the atmosphere of the house will seem to be haunted
by ghosts and the family members will constantly live under the
spell of fear, mental confusion states, losses through thieves,
litigation, quarrels, debts and the house may be sold. There are
suicidal tendencies.
2. If the Sun is in fall or in 3rd or 6th or 9th or 12th Rashi/
Sign (Gemini or Virgo or Sagittarius), or in and when the
family inaugurates the new house, they lose self confidence and
encounter one or the other problems and the atmosphere of fear
and a psychosis looms large with suicidal tendencies.
3. When in transit, if Moon is weak or is in malefic houses or
if is influenced by Rahu, Mars or Saturn or Ketu, there may be
psychological, physical problems with the women of the house.
The house may seem to be haunted by ghosts and there can be
untimely deaths also. There will be mental retardation of the
family members, the male will have worklessness and will become
dependent and idle. Moon represents left sided windows so they
too will have the problems like cracks, dirty, dustbin there, lack of
light and cross of air, which should be corrected. Moon represents
mind, heart and water which too will have problems in the body
like ENT, breathing, psychological imbalances, fear of ghosts and
suicidal tendencies among the womenfolk etc .
4. The Rahu associates with Sun or Moon, the family becomes
the victim of Tantra, black magic, haunted houses etc., and they
live in constant anxiety, tension, depression, phobias and develop
suicidal tendencies. They start seeing snakes and ghosts in their
dreams, and in waking times too. Sometimes snakes really come
to their houses. Further, to add to their woes, many wild insects,
white ants, reptiles, wild birds and animals too start living there
which is inauspicious.
5. If the construction is started in the Rikta thithis/dates of both
pakshas i.e., 4th, ,9TH and 14th day as per Indian calendar and
8th, 11th and 30th ar or if benefic stars are in 6th , 8th , 12th
houses or Ascendent is Leo then also there are suicidal tendencies
and shorter life spans.

Karma 4
6. If the construction is started in the following inauspicious
yogas, then also the financial, psychiatric problems and suicidal
tendencies will be for the inmates: Vishkumbha(1) Atiganda (6),
Shula(9), Gandha(10), Vyaghata(13), Vajra(15)Vyatipata(17),
Vaidhriti(27 or 0).
7. In transit, if Sun is weak or is placed in malefic houses or Sun
associates with Saturn ,the family suffers from insomnia, mental
disorders, opposing vies between father and son, sleep disorders,
body pains and restlessness. The house will lack sunlight, as sun
represents right sided windows, they will have problems like
being broken, cracks, dirty or dustbin near them.. The bad omens
will seem to enter from these windows. They should be corrected.
If Saturn is with Moon and there is inauguration of the house, the
family starts de-escalating. They become victims of Tantra and
evil effects. They loose peace and happiness. Instead of progress
and success there is failure and paucity of opportunities. They are
under heavy losses, debts and commit suicide.
8. If in transit, there is Rahu associated with Jupiter or Mars, the
family starts distrusting the good people and start trusting the evil
people. They lose faith even in God. The family faces many ups
and downs, the atmosphere is of fear of the unknown and there
are suicidal attempts.
9. If the house is started in Nakshatras like Hasta, Pushya, Magha,
Revati, Poorvashadha or Moola falling on a Tuesday or Mars
being in any one of them, there is the fearful atmosphere and
there may be accident of fire or electricity and is painful for the
children. There are mental imbalances and suicides.
10. If the house is started in Poorvabhadrapada, Utrabhadrapada,
Jyeshtha, Anuradha, Bharni or Swati Nakshatra falling on a
Saturday or Saturn is in any one of the above, there is the fearful
atmosphere with the feeling of presence of ghosts, evil spirits
schizophrenia and the situations of suicides.
Effect of Vaastu defects: if there is the Vaastu defect in the East,
West and corners SW and NW of the house or Brahma-Sthan, the
Centre Point, there is the retardation and blockage of the progress
and peace and happiness is lost and the person comes under
depression, phobias, scizophrenia, bad dreams, sleeplessness,
waking in fear, seeing snakes, demons, ghosts, loss of direction
and confidence and takes the extreme decision of suicide.
Effect of Birds: The birds like eagles, owls, crows, bats and other
wild birds etc., too create opposing situations and are carrier of
psychosis, psychosomatic disorders, fear, evil spirits and suicide.
Effect of plants and trees: The plants inside and outside of
establishments affect the ve/+ve energies, tantra effects and
people report having seen evil spirits in them. Plants should be in
even nos., like 2,4,6 and not in odd nos. The plants/trees thorny
and milk producing etc., and like cactus, Ber, lemon, papaya, anar,
bananas gates, Gular, Dhatura, Banyan, cashew nuts, betal nuts,
Tamarind, Guava, Palm, Pipul and mango (mango wood used in
house or for furniture alone or with teak) etc., are inauspicious.
The trees overshadowing the house, obstructing main entrance,
windows, in corners like NE, north of NW and east side of SE
produce evil effects.
The plants from cemetery, crematorium, burnt area, roadside
wild grass and plants, temple, hospital and plants gifted by ailing
person produce evil effects.
Effect of Colors: Every Nakshatra/Sign is represented by a color
and the colors of house should not be incompatible with those of
Nakshatras of inmates. Selection of favorable colors of curtains,
rooms, bedspreads and covers, carpets and flooring etc., should
be chosen as per the luckiest planets of the inmates. Black stones
should be avoided or used very less at essential places only. In
general black, white and red colors must be used judiciously as
they invite many financial and psychological problems.
Besides the above, the roof of the house should not be less which
too burdens inhabitants, invites negativities, and the situations of
the haunted house. The height of the roof should be around 12 feet.
The height and size of the upper floors should not be more than
lower ones, plot must not be facing nor be sandwiched between
larger plots. These should not be there, e.g., kitchen under or over
a living room, cracks in the house, no stagnated stinking water,
dampness, algae, broken or useless or negative articles, wrong
positioning of articles, rooms, toilets, stairs etc., and one should
avoid contacts with negative people and their visits.
If we act in time and remove defects of planets and empower
them, as per the horoscopes of the family members and matching
with the horoscope of the house and remove Vaastu defects
without demolishing structures, we can escape from the brutal
but curable clutches of undesirable evil of suicides, psychiatric
disorders, fear, ghosts and evil spirits and live a life of love,
peace, progress, happiness and fulfillment. This is our birth right
on the planet earth

Karma 5
Our ancient Sages/Rishis had identified 27 Nakshatras/
Stars, the 28th Nakshatra is known as Abhijit (comes after
Uttrashadha Nakshatra and before Shravana Nakshatra),
and overlaps, so practically there are 27 Nakshatras. Each
Nakshatra has 4 quarters or padas, these Nakshatras are
actually a group of stars visible in the sky. The Nakshatras are
related to the Rashis/Signs and the planets have the lordship.
This was in the ancient times, and the modern scientists too
have found the same.
The 1st pariraya includes the stars from 1 to 9.The 2nd
pariraya includes the stars from 10 to 18.The 3rd pariraya
includes the stars from 19 to 27.The birth star of the person
is known as Janma Nakshatra, the 10th star is known as
Anujanma Nakshatra, the 19th star is known as the Trijanma
Nakshatra.
Further, the birth star is Janma Nakshatra, the second is
Sampatti or prosperity, the third Vipatti of danger or problems,
the 4th as Kshema or happiness, the 5th is Pratyaram or
undesirable, the 6th is Sadhaka or favourable, the 7th star is
known as Vata, i.e., torture or massacre, the 8th is Mitra or
friendly and the 9th star is known as Param Mitra, i.e., very
friendly and the intimate relations. The same above sequence
is in all the three Parirayas.
The following are the relationships:
1. Uttama or the best relationships: Count the boy’s
Nakshatra from the girl’s. If the star of the boy is Sadhaka
the 6th Nakshatra, or Kshema the 4th Nakshatra, or Param-
Mitra the 9th star, the relationship is considered to be the
best. The star of the boy may be in any one of the pariraya. So
the Nakshatras/stars 6,15,24;4,13,22;9,18,27 have the best of
relationships.
2.Madhyama-Moderate relationships: Janma, Anujanma,
Tiru-Janma Nakshatras. The Nakshatras, 1,10,19;2,11,20;8,17
and 26th stars have the medium relationships.
Special Rules: If the boy’s Nakshatra from the girl’s star
is 3rd or 5h or 7th in the 1st pariraya, their relationship is
not good. If the boy’s star is the 3rd in the 2nd pariraya,
reject only the 1st quarter or pada of the star, i.e., the boy’s
Nakshatra may be 12th from that of the girl. If the birth is in
2nd or 3rd or 4h pada, the relationship would be good. If the
boy’s star is 5th in the 2nd pariraya, only the 4th pada can
cause problems. Also if the boy’s star is 7th with 3rd pada
in the 2nd pariraya, the relationship is not good, wherein in
the other pada relationship is good. If the boy’s star is in the
3rd pariraya and is in the 4th pada, the relationship is not
good while in other padas of the nakshatra the relationship
is good.
Regarding the 7th Nakshatra in 3rd pariraya, if the lord of the
Nakshatra is a benefic planet, the relationship is good, but if
the lord of 7th star is in evil houses, the relationship is not
good.Special rule for 27th star: If the boy’s Nakshatra is 27th
from the girl’s, and if Moon is in the same sign of both of
them, he relationship will be good. But if the Moon is in the
12th house from the girl’s moon sign, the relationship will is
not good. If the Nakshatras/stars of the boy and girl are the
same the relationships should be understood as follows:
1. The Uttama or best relatonships: If their stars are either
Rohini or Adra or Magha or Hasta or Vishakha or Shravana
or Uttrabhadrapada or Revati, the relationship is as such
excellent.
2. The Madhyama or Moderate: If both have the same
Nakshatra/star as Ashvini or Kritika or Mrigsheersha or
Pushya or Poorvashadha or Utrashadha, the relationship is
of the medium type.
3. Atamam or no good: If both are born in the following
Nakshaztra/stars, the relationship is no good. The Nakshatras
are, Bharni, Ashlesha, Swati, Jyeshha, Moola, Dhanishtha,
Shatbisha and Poorvabhadrapada.
Therefore, if the Nakshatra of the boy and girl are the
same, the first mentioned 8 Nakshatras will create excellent
relationships, the next mentioned 11 Nakshatras will have
moderate relationships and the next 8 Nakshatras will have
problematic relationships.

Karma 6
Same Nakshatras but Moon in different signs: For example,
suppose Kritika is the star of both the boy and the girl. Moon
may be in Aries, Mesha or Taurus, Vrishabha. You can match
them and relationships will be good (a) if both have moon in
Aries or (b) both have Moon in Taurus or (c) the girl has Moon
in Aries and boy has Moon in Taurus. Bu the relationship will
not be good if the girl’s Moon is in Taurus and boy’s moon
is in Aries.
VATA AND VAINASIKA: If the boy’s Nakshatra is 7th
when counted from the girl’s Nakshatra, it is termed VATA.
Naturally, the girl’s Nakshatra is 2nd from that of the boy,
and it is termed “Vainasika”. These are problematic.
Exceptions explained by Rishi Kashyapa: He suggests that
the girls born in the 6th Nakshatras, Kritika, Ashlesha,
Chira, Anuradha, Dhanishtha and Shatbisha should no marry
as the relationships will not be good with the boys born in
the 7th Nakshatras namely Ashlesha, Swati, Poorvashadha,
Dhnishtha, Bharni and Kritika. Here the married lie may be
short. But he approves match for good relations for a girl born
in Adra, Poorvaphalguni and Pushya and the boy born in 7h
Nakshatra born from them.
Rishi Kashyapa adds:
1. Happiness in life and birtth of good children if the girl is
born in Poorvashadha Nakshatra and the boy in Hasta.
2. But the results will be opposite if the girl’s Nakshatra is
Jyeshtha and the boy’s Shatbhisha.
3. The relationship will not be good and married life may be
short, there may be separation even may loose her husband
early if the girl’s Nakshatra is Mrigsheersha and boy’s
Poorvashadha.
4. Similarly, the girl with Hasta should avoid marriage with a
boy with Moola Nakshatra.
5. If the girl’s Nakshatra is Rohini and the boy’s Magha, the
relationship is good and children too are good.
6. Similarly the above results (point no.5) for the girl with
Poorvabhadrapada Nakshatra and the boy with Rohini
Nakshatra.
7. Girls with Ashwini Nakshatra too will have tensed
relationships and will have many daughters if they marry the
boy born in Rohini Nakshatra.
8. Similarly, same for the girl born in Swati Nakshatra and
the boy in Utrasadha (7th from the girl’s Nakshatra).
9. The prelateship between the girls with Revati Nakshatra and
the boy in Adra and also if the girl’s Nakshatra is Uttraphalguni
and the boy’s is Jyeshtha, the relationship is not good. They
don’t lead a happy married life. The understanding between
them will diminished. They get separated.
10. If the girl’s Nakshatra is Magha, she will have
dissatisfaction from her children.
11. The girl with Vishakha Nakshatra will have strained
relationship with the boy having Shravana Nakshatra.
12. The girl with Shravana Nakshatra will have strained
relations and may get separated and divorce the boy with
Ashwini Nakshatra.
13. If the girl’s Nakshatra is Utrabhadapada, their relationships
too is short and may get separated early and lose the boy with
7th Nakshatra, or the husband.
14. The girls with Uttashadha Nakshatra Nakshatra have very
good relationship with the boy born in 7th Nakshatra.
15. Same for the girls born in Poorvashadha Nakshatra, they
have good relationships with their husbands.
16. If the girl has Bharni Nakshatra, they are very lucky if the
boy’s Nakshatra is Pushya.
The above information can be vey useful in knowing the
relationships with 7th Nakshatra.

G
od has bestowed upon us the basic qualities that is, talents,
to look up and work for our betterment and the world.
These qualities are the real treasure & their non usage or
underutilization will be a burden for us and the world. Our usage
of these treasures catalyzes evolution of our mind. The attitude of
usage of our talents, without selfish motto, ego, that transforms
our life and life around for the better.
The greatest tragedy of life is considered to be death, whereas
this is not so. The greatest tragedy of life is underutilization of
God-gifted talents, capacities & potential. Here the focus is on
talent, character & implementation of action in the life’s stream
righteously and with good intent, rather than for false ego or
reputation. John wooden suggests, “Be more concerned with
your character than your reputation. Your character is what you
are; your reputation is merely what others think you are”. Also
the acknowledged American philosopher Goethe says, “Talent
develops itself in solitude; character in life’s stream”.
The wealth spent diminishes in quantity and in its potential to
be further spent; but, for the betterment of people, when we
use our inner talents & treasure, they multiply quantitatively &
qualitatively.
We find that the solution for all the problems is being sought all
around in outside world. There are even rituals performed for
solutions of problems even to the extent of establishing peace.
This may give a boost to the name of religious organization,
person, Mathadhish, head of religious organization. But, peace,
welfare, betterment of society is not achieved. What is achieved
is the money to those persons, pseudo-image, ego and nothing
of value for which all is organized. In fact hat of peace, even
the source of the problem is not known. Now the fundamental
question is, if we cannot trace the root of the problem, can we
ever reach a solution? Be it even worship of God. Indeed, we can
find a solution in only the God’s way.
The greatest truth is that-the source of all problems is rooted
within us, i.e., human mind. So it is only by looking within us
that we can find solutions, and work to achieve them. As rightly
said by Colin Wilson, “The mind has exactly the same power as
hands; not merely to grasp the world, but to change it”. So it’s
essential that we must know the inner world. If the mind of a
person can be made good through the most subtle tool, namely
love, that is the beginning of the changed and better world.
“Where there is love, there is life”, observes Mahatma Gandhi. It
is that life, that conscientious life, I am talking about.
Leo Tolstoy says, “All, everything that I understand, I understand
only because I love”. In reality, love is real spirituality. Love is
above all the religion, nationality, caste & profession. We are like
beads strung together on the same thread that is love. The basic
aim of life must be to kindle love in man for all living beings.
If we delete conceit, jealousy & hatred, the love for each other
becomes visible as the basic inherent nature towards others.
Aristotle, the father of philosophy says, “Love is true when it
comes from the heart, not from the mouth”. The beauty of the
world can be heightened & problems solved by igniting the
minds & hearts of people with spark of love and rightful actions
for each other.
External communication through internet, computers & mobiles
has brought in the people of distant countries within a business
& life’s bargain. Paradoxically, the lack of communication
towards our nears & dears and those living close by, suffers with
increasing distance. The eminent psychoanalyst & motivator
suggests, “There is no scarcity of opportunity to make a living at
what you love, that’s only a scarcity of resolve to make it happen”.
The world suffers from the poverty, which is of two types. The
first being the poverty of food, clothing, & shelter. The second
type of poverty is caused by lack of love & compassion. Out of
the above, it is the second type of poverty that needs attention
due to the very basic fact that if we love people with our hearts,
empathize with them & serve them with compassion, the first
type of poverty & the problems of food, shelter & clothing will
find solutions.
The key here is the spirituality of love, the enlightened self,
which opens up our minds & hearts for the good of all. This key
enables us to see differently when we empathize, and heals us
internally and the persons we serve. “You know its love when
all you want is that person to be happy, even if you’re not part
of their happiness”, says Julia Roberts. When Freud was an old
man, a journalist once asked him the requirements of healthy
mind. The journalist expected a long reply, instead the reply was
“Lieben und Arbeiten”Love & Work. Elaborated, Freud’s Sutra
implies that the happy adult has a capacity for loyal and enduring
relationships and can use his or her talents, free from paralyzing
in productive, good work.
Our minds are blinded by selfishness, which leads to loss of
judgment & distorted vision, creating more uncertainties and
thus creating more problems, rather than solutions. Thus, if we
do not use the key of spirituality of love, our minds & hearts
will be auto-locked. On the contrary, if we use the same key,
our minds & hearts will be unlocked with a new mindset, new
creativity, new life & new world. Mignon McLaughlin says,
“In the arithmetic of love, one plus one equals everything, and
two minus one equals nothing”. I think the search for an answer
to the common happiness, through love & work can end with a
Chinese saying: “Happiness is someone to love, something to
work at, and something to hope for”

Everybody gets to play everyone on the wheel of life and
its all based on spatial and compositional criteria. In
Astrology the eternal circle or rather spiral is composed
or divided into twelve equal sections or spatial areas,
each with its particular energy or composition.
Space one begins it all and is what gives Aries its
initiatory nature. Space two concretizes the actions of
space one and is what gives Taurus its solid or earthy
nature, and so on. It is the space or sequence which
gives a sign its quality or nature and the same principle
applies for numerology. This means, for example, that
whatever occupies space five or is fifth in sequence, for
example, will have the nature of Leo.
Every sign is equally important in Astrology and plays
its particular role according to its position or space in
the zodiac. Every sign also has a special role in relation
to every other sign. This also is determined by spatial
sequence or configuration or “aspect” as it is termed
in astrology. Every sign plays an equal, superior, or
subordinate role to some other sign, without exception.
Below is a table showing the role each sign plays with
each other sign. This can be on a Sun sign level, Moon
sign level, or any other mutual or inter-functional
comparison.

Dispositions of Planets and Mutual Reception
All planets (except for those in their home sign) are dispositing
planets; that is, they are reliant or dependant on other planets in
the chart(including other people’s charts) for self-completion or
fulfillment. Disposition works through rulership. Sun in Aries,
for example is disposited through Mars, which may in turn be
disposited through another planet. It is possible to have a chain
of dispositing planets such as the following:
Sun in Aries/Mars in Gemini/Mercury in Taurus/Venus in
Aquarius/Uranus in Sagittarius/Jupiter in Leo/Sun in Aries. In
such a case, all of these planets work together in some way.
A planet in its own sign stands alone and can freely give or
refuse to give of itself to the rest of the chart. Even the transits
and progressions of other planets to it don’t have much effect. A
planet in it’s own sign is a MASTER planet and needs no one or
nothing (except other master planets). Dispositing planets, on the
other hand, reflect all of our needs and interdependencies.
Mutual Reception
Two planets in mutual reception are the next best thing to a planet
in its home sign, especially if they are of the same element or
polarity. Two planets are in mutual reception when they disposit
each other.
Example 1: Sun in Aries and Mars in Leo
Each planet is in the sign the other rules so that there is a cross-
link or interdependency. Both planets complete or fulfill each
other, and in a positive way, since both are trine aspect (by sign).
Example 2: Venus in Aquarius and Uranus in Taurus
These two planets will also fulfill or complete each other but it
won’t be easy as the two are in square (by sign).
Mutual reception can also work by transit or between planets in
two people’s charts. If you are a Sun in Aries, for example, you
will be especially sensitive to the transit of Mars in Leo, or to
someone’s Mars in Leo.
Planets in their own signs (dignity) are strongest and purest
and seek one another out as kings seek kings or presidents seek
presidents. There are twelve such positions and are found in the
charts of highly gifted or powerful individuals. They are:
Sun in Leo, Moon in Cancer, Mercury in Gemini, Venus in
Taurus, Mars in Aries, Jupiter in Sagittarius, Saturn in Capricorn,
Uranus in Aquarius, Neptune in Pisces, Pluto in Scorpio, Earth/
Ascendant in Libra, and an as yet undetermined body or planet
in Virgo.
Next in power are planets in their opposite signs, trine signs,
square, sextile, and in conjunct or semi-sextile, and they too will
primarily seek one another out within their own group or level.
Sun in Aquarius, for example, is an opposition placement (the
planet and sign are opposing in quality) and will primarily seek
out other opposition placements, such as Mars in Libra, Venus in
Scorpio, Uranus in Leo(mutual reception), and so on.
In this way every one of the 144 planetary placements in astrology
(12 planets x 12 signs) will have eleven other placements that
are of primary importance to them. These placements can be
grouped as follows...(select any planetary placement within any
group below and see which other placements are most closely
associated with it).
Example: the most important or significant placements for a Sun
in Leo are Moon in Cancer, Mercury in Gemini, etc. For a Pluto
in Scorpio they will be of the same group (Sun in Leo, Moon in
Cancer, etc.)

There is presently a tendency in
astrology to pick everything apart and
analyze things from there when a more
united or integrated view would yield
a better understanding. The four basic
categorizations in astrology -planets,
signs, aspects, and houses all basically
mean one thing -twelve planetary
positions. These twelve positions, in
turn, also mean only one thing -the
individual as a twelve fold or twelve-
bodied being.
When we understand that the Ascendant
is planet Earth and that the Houses
are nothing more than the Earth’s
relationship to the other planets, and
that these relationships are based on
gender, mode, element, or sign more
than by degree, and that a planet’s
integral nature is based primarily on its
sign placement, what we have left are
the twelve planetary positions.
When we also understand that each
of these twelve planetary positions
or layers of the self can interact
individually amongst themselves
or with someone else’s planetary
positions, either through default or
free will, and that they are tempered
or modified by sex, creed, and culture,
then we have a solid understanding of
the basic principles involved in synastry
(the astrology of relationships).
In this work we shall deal with eleven
bodies or planets, the twelfth of which
is still unconfirmed or undetermined.
These eleven bodies or planets are:

Sun: ruler of Leo and the principle of
love or creativity
Moon: ruler of Cancer and the principle
of preservation or memory
Earth/Ascendant: ruler of Libra and
the principles of harmony, beauty, and
relationships
Mercury: ruler of Gemini/Virgo and the
principle of communication
Venus: ruler of Taurus and the principles
of evaluation and appreciation
Mars: ruler of Aries and the principles
of energy, drive, and action
Jupiter: ruler of Sagittarius and
the principles of faith, growth, and
abundance
Saturn: ruler of Capricorn and the
principle of structure, definition, and
limitation
Uranus: ruler of Aquarius and the
principles of truth, freedom, and
individuality
Neptune: ruler of Pisces and
the principles of understanding,
forgiveness, and universality
Pluto: ruler of Scorpio and the
principles of death, transformation, and
rebirth
All eleven have proven to be important
and observable astrological influences.
The Midheaven and/or Planet X as
candidates for either Gemini or Virgo
are still under study.
Thanks to Linda Goodman and others,
we all know how Sun signs (egos)
relate to one another, but we are not just
our Sun signs. We are also our Moon,
Ascendant (Earth), Mercury, Venus,
Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune,

Karma 15
Pluto and X signs. We are twelve-fold beings, capable of
interacting in twelve different ways. How each of our twelve
parts interact with someone (or something) else’s twelve
parts is what astrology is all about. Even Paul, in the New
Testament declares that “we are all parts of one another”.
With twelve planets capable of expressing through twelve
signs, there are a total of 144 astrological “parts” or planetary
positions in astrology, all of which encompass the totality of
human or animal experience, good or bad, here on Earth and
elsewhere. Each of us comes with twelve of these parts at
birth, depending on the time and place.
To describe how all - 144 planetary positions interact with
one another would be too much to list here, but some rules
and examples will suffice.
Rule 1:Mutual comparisons (Sun-Sun, Moon-Moon,
Mercury-Mercury, etc.) are the strongest.
Rule 2:Inter functional comparisons (Sun-Moon, Sun-
Mercury, Sun-Venus, etc.) can make up for mutual
incompatibility.
Rule 3: The sign, element, or gender should be used in terms
of assessing the harmony or discord between two planets or
signs. Aspects by degree intensify the effect.
Rule 4: Both the planets and the signs should be compared
when assessing compatibility.
Example 1: Jupiter in Leo versus Neptune in Scorpio:
Not only are both planets incompatible, but so are the signs
involved. Jupiter(Sagittarius) represents the 10th house for
Neptune(Pisces), While Neptune represents the 4th house
for Jupiter. Likewise, Leo is the 10th house for Scorpio, and
Scorpio is the 4th for Leo. What this all means is that Jupiter
in Leo is the ultimate boss or dominating influence for
Neptune in Scorpio. Neptune in Scorpio, on the other hand,
is the ultimate mother figure or nurturer for Jupiter in Leo.
In turn, Neptune in Scorpio would completely dominate or
control Mercury(Gemini) in Aquarius, which would in turn
have a similar effect on Mercury(Virgo) in Taurus, and so on.
It’s cyclical and requires a knowledge of ruler ships and how
the signs, elements and modes relate to one another.
The diagram below outlines the zodiacal relationships
between planet-in-sign placements that are in their home
signs.
In general, the sign or element ahead always has power or
dominance over the sign or element before. This means
that Earth dominates Fire which dominates Water which
dominates Air which dominates Earth. The upper square or
10th house(cardinal/Capricorn) is the most dominating or
controlling, followed by the 2nd and 6th. 12th, 8th, and 4th
are submissive. This is on both a planetary and sign level. In
the above diagram, Saturn in Capricorn is most dominant over
Mars in Aries while Neptune in Pisces is most submissive.
1st, 5th, 9th and 3rd, 7th, 11tth are basically equal in power.
Dominance/submission equates to the negative or discordant
aspects while equality equates to the positive ones
There is also what is known as mutual reception and
dispositorship. Mutual reception is when one planet is in the
sign the other rules. An example is Sun in Aries and Mars in
Leo. If examined with the methods already outlined, both the
planets and the signs will be found to be very compatible.
Mutual reception strengthens this compatibility even further,
as each planet holds the key to the other. Mutual reception
can work natally, by transit or progression, or between two
or more persons.
Dispositorship occurs when two or more planets are linked by
ruler ship often forming a chain. An example is Sun in Aries/
Mars in Gemini/Mercury in Pisces/Neptune in Sagittarius/
Jupiter in Sagittarius. In this chain the Sun disposits Mars,
which disposits Mercury, which disposits, Neptune which
disposits Jupiter. It cannot go further because Jupiter is in its
own sign. All five of these planets work together and must
be interpreted that way. Dispositorship can work nasally or
between two or more persons.
The effect of any planetary placement on any other can be
known using the above methods. These methods, however,
will remain somewhat ambiguous until every sign has its
own definite or individual ruler.

A normal IQ is essensial for sustain in the world wherein there
are many impediments in nature, environment and in every
culture and country. It is the story with the animals, as they
too possess the same to sustain themselves with food and
protection from the enemies. But man is blessed with “Dhi”
the superior IQ, the wisdom which distinguishes man from the
beast.
The controller of this “Dhi or the superior IQ or wisdom and
the IQ levels is the planet Jupiter or Brihaspati.
The strength of Jupiter lies IN REGULATING the Mind
(Moon) in the right direction. This is why in the Kalachakra,
the time cycle, Jupiter is placed opposite to the Moon. No,
wonder, on Amavasyas and Purnimas, the dark Moon and
the full Moon nights, when the mind gets hyper-exited; only
Jupiter has the capacity t be able tocontrol such such Minds.
Thus on full Moon nights, when the Moon (Mind) is highly
activated, Satya-Narayan (Jupiter) vrata is done.
All the knowledge is always within us, the Guru only uncovers
the veil of ignorance covering our telants and knowledge. As it
is, we have the same spark of Atma, the part of Super soul, the
God, the source and originator of all knowledge.
The guru enables the access to the source putting an end
to our wanderings, sufferings and puts us on the road to
increasing wisdom. This is why Maharshis could know
many things through the practice of meditating and through
their developed intuition. The omnipresence and omnipotent
characteristics of knowledge (True knowledge- the Vedas) can
only be described by the ethereal Jupiter. Jupiter has the extra-
ordinary powers to tap all form of knowledge, comprehensible
or incomprehensible.
Among he supporters of Jupiter, Moon is the most important
as he is who exalts the Jupiter creating powerful Gajakesari
Yoga, the yoga of knowledge, achievement, success and
fulfillment. Thus, Moon helps in the manifestation of Jupiter
and represents the Mind or consciousness. A strong Mind can
only be productive, when it is under the proper guidance of
supreme intellect signified by Jupiter.
Sun is the generator of all the universal energy as it is the
natural significator of the Soul, the Atma. Atma contains all
knowledge through Supersoul, and it requires only a good
Mind and Dhi to access it. This is the source of light, which the
Moon, Mind reflects. Thus an exalted and strong Sun without
the malefic influences is prerequisite for a native to be an
expert in multiple disciplines. As Sunlight contains all colors
of light, the ray of light, which a native accesses from Sun,
is dependent on the influences on the Sun. This is why the
Sun represents the knowledge of Gita, which is a philosophy,
which encompasses all form of knowledge and hence has all
the colors.
Mars signifies the ability to break down a complex problem
into smaller parts and analyze each of them to have a
comprehensive understanding of the whole problem and then
energetically act to get the solution. As compared to Jupiter,
Mars doesn’t use intuition, instead the use of logical reasoning,
will to solve and strength to act in solving problem.
Mercury is the planet of intellectual skills and signifies the
ability to use Language in effective communication While
Jupiter signifies knowledge and wisdom, Mercury signifies
formal education, i.e., application of intelligence, persuasion
and negotiation in solving practical problems.
Venus is a great tapasvi, the great austerities, and he rules the
desire, which motivate us to learn to achieve. Thus whenever
Venus is associated with Saturn (hard work and patience) and
Ketu (knowledge of fine details, Mokshakaraka, for salvation),
the native becomes a Tapasvi (someone who undertakes severe
austerity and penances to attain siddhi). As opposed to Jupiter,
who rules para vidya (meta-physics, knowledge which is used
irrespective of whether we are born or not), Venus rules apara
vidya (knowledge which is used in this mortal world). Thus
Venus signifies practical strategies, which help in solving real
life problems and achieving desired goals.
Saturn debilitates Jupiter and hence signifies loss of Memory
or deviations from objectives among other significations.
Saturn is a bitter enemy of his own father, the Atmakaraka,
Sun and hence any studies done during Saturn Kala, will prove
to be worthless. The saturn’s influence on the Lagna or the 5th
house, will result in making the person forgetting things and
missing 1 or 2 academic years.
Rahu eclipses and debilitates Sun and also, is a bitter enemy
of the Jupiter. Rahu has the strength to hide the effulgence of
Sun to extreme darkness. Thus in Rahu-Kala it is impossible
to gain knowledge and decision making, (due to the enmity
towards “dhi” karaka Jupiter).

At any age we are bewildered about the idea of selecting a
business or profession that will give us desired success. Or we
even question ourselves, if we are in the right kind of profession?
The secret of the type of profession, trade and Business is
locked in your name and in the lucky numbers, as per the date
of birth. The lucky number for the firm, company, shop etc.,
should be the owner’s or the employee’s lucky number or at
least a favorable number. If so, the business will run smoothly.
We see that the crowd is always only in a few select shops who
make huge sales and profits while there are numerous shops in
any market. Have you pondered what is the reason? It is simply
that the “name-number” matching of that shop has the power to
attract people.
Similarly, daily use products like soaps, detergents, toothpastes,
powders, creams etc., are sold under different trademarks. But
the sales of a select product is always spiraling with a particular
trademark. It is not that the products with other trademarks
are poor in quality, whereas more often than not, they are
manufactured by the same company but marketed by different
companies. Hence, again, the secret of this success is the
“name-number” compatibility of the trademark. For example,
with trademark No. 8, if a man sells a product related to No. 6,
he will face only losses in business. So each number represents
its own product or trade and each person should select a
business suitable to his own number. The name of the business
or trademarks should be in a suitable “name-number” sequence
and be compatible.
Each planet is responsible for certain products, professions,
trades and business. We should select our business according to,
or compatible with, our own planet, and keep the name of the
business and the trademark as per our lucky numbers.

MILLIONAIRES DON’T USE ASTROLOGY. BILLIONAIRES
DO. - J.P. MORGAN
Astrology and Numerology are very rewarding subjects that
enable us to understand our past, present and future and help us in
improving our life. Astrophysicists confirm beyond any doubt that
with mathematical calculations, we can plot the movements of all
the planets at any given time. But Astrology is a complex science
involving various permutations and combinations to interpret. The
degrees of planets, their stars, signs, houses, their lords and various
types of charts are prepared. All the same, it is not correct to give a
blanket name and coverage and categorize all human beings born
in a particular month, i.e., sign, to have the same characteristics
and lifestyle. Since we know that there re 12 zodiac signs, so it is
like saying that the total population of the world consists equally
of only 12 types of people depending on their zodiac signs. What
to say of two people living in different states, even the twins are
different with differing views and destinies. But then “Why”?
These twins are brought up in the same environment - yet are they
the same? The answer is “NO”! The only reason is that the changed
life and fortunes are due to the difference in the names given to
them since their birth. So although everything is the same, their
names are different. That creates the difference in their life and
achievements, age and other patterns.
We observe, more often than not that the occupation of people are
different than their education or career in initial years that they
planned for themselves. There are millionaires and billionaires,
who have not passed their high school grades and more than 99%,
have not even attended Business schools, but have made many
Institutions. Thousands of these extremely successful business
tycoons share the same birthdays as you, but what is the real
difference? Do you know? The answer is too obviously, and that is
“their names”!
Numerology and Planets- Their Influence on Humans for
Failure or Success
Webster’s dictionary defines vibration as the to and fro motion of an
object when displaced from the resting position, as in transmitting
sound, as well as the emotional qualities or supernatural emanations
that are felt by another. That same source defines Numerology as the
study of the occult (hidden) significance of numbers and alphabetic
letters. In analyzing one’s name and date of birth, numerology is a
tool to help us understand the Eternal OM, the first Word or Sound
vibration in the Space or Ether before the evolution of man and the
place of life in it.
Numerology or Astrology has been attacked by ignorant for going
against the laws and teachings of God. In fact, just the reverse
is true. The Bible, the Talmud, the Koran, even the Egyptian
Book of the Dead, and the Indian Vedas the very originators of
these sciences, all have alluded to numbers in ways that require
interpretation by people of wisdom.
As related to individuals, each of these vibrates to certain numbers
according to their name, their birth date, year and month. As they
appear, they become either as strengths or as losses or as helps or
as change, or as the signs, or the omens; and may also be given as
warnings too or in any manner that they may be constructive in the
experience of the individual.
Planets Ruling the numbers:
Each number from 0 to 9 is ruled by a specific Planet in our solar
system. In Numerology and Astrology the same is followed for the
interpretation of the fate, problems and solutions of any individual.
They are as follows:
1. Zero is ruled by the planet Pluto, which gives it many
transforming and regenerating qualities. It has a lot of depth and
intensity, which makes it an abstruse number indeed.
2. One is rule by the Sun and the astrological aspect of the
conjunction, so this number is very egocentric, quite often being
somewhat of a loner.
3. Two is ruled by the Moon and the astrological aspect of the
opposition, which means this number is very co-operative,
emotive, and has a great deal of feeling. This number is associated
with relationships in general.
4. Three is ruled by Jupiter and the astrological aspect of the trine,
and is educated, wise, and happy. The acquisition or expenditure of
money often features prominently in the number. There is usually
a free flow of energy associated with this number, which indicates
that both good and bad come easily to this number. This number
is the major benefic, so is considered lucky to many. Money will
come and go easily when three is significant.
5. Four is ruled by Mars (although in many systems 4 represents
URANUS) and the astrological aspect of the square. It is forceful
and dominating in an attempt to control the tension that is inherent
in this number. It also has a great deal of stability and is therefore
a good number when attempting to build foundations. When four
is prominent, quite often people will need to overcome obstacles
before they will be able to reach their highest potential.
6. Five is ruled by the planet Mercury and the astrological aspect
of the quincunx. It is very communicative and witty on a light level.
Because this number deals with the concept of communication, on
a negative level deception can also be involved, so it is always best
to double check for the facts. Sometimes an individual must make
adjustments in order to fit in when this number is significant.
7. Six is ruled by the planet Venus and the astrological aspect of
the sextile. It is a pleasant, harmonious number that governs the
arts and music. Tact and diplomacy figure prominently with this
number, so relationships will be of paramount importance. Six
is a minor benefic, so money will play an important role when
this number is significant. There will be a free flow of energy,

Karma 22
which will enable many opportunities for success to come to the
individuals who this number has touched.
8. Seven is ruled by the planet Neptune. It is a very spiritual
number that is not limited by the constraints of the physical world.
This is the number of mystics, visionaries, and seers. Because this
number is associated with idealism, depression can easily manifest
itself when our expectations of others and our goals are not met.
This number has many surreal, or unreal, qualities to it.
9. Eight is ruled by the planet Saturn. It is a solid and very stable
number that has many limitations that must be transcended. Those
individuals who have this number prominent in their life usually
must learn by experience. They quite often have many harsh
lessons to learn, which are quite often the result of a karmic debt
they must repay before they can progress unto their next level of
spiritual evolution.
10. Nine is ruled by the planet Uranus (although in many systems
9 represents MARS). It is very eccentric and unusual in nature.
Where this number is prominent invention and ingenuity are very
important elements to any given situation.

COLOURS IN GOD’S CREATON :
In God’s creation i.e., Prakriti or Nature, everything has its own
distinctiveness through colours. This is true for all inanimate
or animate objects and beings of this Universe. They all can be
identified with the uniqueness of their respective colours. All the
same, colour is the vital component of the human life as much as
of the nature. Thus the universe as such is energized with light and
colours and they play important roles. The effects are very subtle
on our Psyche, in the subconscious mind that we remain unaware
of the fact that how nature heals us with the help of colours.
TREATMENT THROUGH COLOURS :
The color and light used in the color therapy is actually a form of
“Light and Energy” medicine. Sunbathing, sun-worship and colour
therapy, all of these were originated in India during the Vedic
period. From India the Colour therapy traveled to Egypt and then
to far and wide parts of the world. As times passed, the effects
of colour therapy have been scientifically approved and the same
has become a powerful treatment for cure of many ailments. The
Colour therapy activates the energies of the body and soul. There is
harmonization of the physical, mental and emotional factors. The
person feels energized and rejuvenated to face the daily challenges,
pressures and tensions of life successfully. Therefore, the objective
is simply to restore the balance in the human body and purify the
energies of the mind, body, soul and in fact the total well-being
BASIS OF COLOUR THERAPY :
The Colour therapy is based on the Sunlight, composed of the
seven principle colors of the rainbow. The therapy enables one to
feel liberated from repressed emotions and continuous stresses,
creating equilibrium with the human body, mind and nature. The
main colours are in the sequence of VIBGYOR (Violet, indigo,
blue, green, yellow, orange and red), and all these basic seven colors
of are found to possess potential healing properties, including the
black and white to maintain the balance of the mind and body.
These seven colours are associated with their numerological
numbers, planets and the twelve Zodiac signs. Throughout history,
harnessing the nutritional aspects of colour provides the well
balanced emotional, physical, anti-aging and spiritual benefits.
The children, to have a healthy body and mind, they need healthy
cells. In order to have healthy cells, we must increase their energy
levels by nourishing and invigorating them with the energizing
properties carried in specific colours and light.
The blue colour of the sky or sea has healing and soothing effects
on the nerves. The blue colour acts as a nervine tonic strengthening
nerves. The green colour of the garden or trees is a mood elevator
and a very potent healer, helping fast to heal wounds and surgery
and is soothing to the eyes. The surgeons use green clothes in
the operation theatre, ands so the patients. The post surgical eye
care too has green colour. The Yellow is a healing colour with
penetrating effects. Thus the yellow Sun-beams will energize and
even repair cells in the body.
TOOLS IN COLOUR THERAPY :
Some of the tools and accessories used in color therapy are colour
gemstones, coloured candles, coloured wands, coloured prisms,
coloured fabrics, coloured bath-treatments, coloured water and
the coloured eye-wear. Also through precision illuminators
and mineral based glass lenses which are non-invasive and can
naturally influence the body’s energy system as these allow the
colour energy to be emitted more effectively.
IDENTIFY YOUR COLOURS THROUGH MEDITATION :
Here is an invigorating meditation. Sit in a comfortable position,
close your eyes, stay in the push-button i.e., Gyan-mudra position,
visualize in your mind’s eye, the frontal lobe area the seven colors’
of the rainbow like VIBGYOR-in the series one by one. Out of the
7 colors’, it will be one or the two colors’ which will be identifiable
with a marked attention. Note that this is the key, and you have
found your OWN CHOICEST COLOURS-FOR HEALING AND
PROSPERITY. Alternatively, an astrologer can tell you your lucky
colurs.
MIND-A HEALING SANATORIUM :
Our mind is itself a healing sanatorium. The subconscious mind,
fully aware of the physical, emotional or psychological stress,

Karma 23
silently tries to soothe/solve the ailments. This is
through the autonomous nervous system and whereby
body secretes various enzymes and hormones as
per the messages received and sent by brain. This
brings in changes important and vital for our life and
healing and these messages help choose customized
and individualized “healing-colours” to treat the
negativity of the psychosomatic diseases. In modern
medicine, Psychosomatic word is derived from Greek
words, Psyche meaning mind and Soma meaning the
body. For it is the Psyche which influences the body
to cause of cure the diseases.
Here are a few pointers :
*If a child suffers from the chest, breathing or
stomach disorders, the reason must be due to the
environmental stress i.e., infections etc. Here the
color Blue will heal in a very tender way. You can
decide the child’s linen, clothes etc., in blue colors’
and even paint one or all walls in this healing colour
blue.
*If the child loses focus and mind gets ashtray then
use red color for getting him back to focus with
energy and enthusiasm. You can draw a red circle in
front wall of his study or bed and choose pillowcases
of red color. The red colour is a source of potent energy and power.
The red circle creates aura to get back focus, as red color penetrates
psyche in the subconscious mind and strengthens it. But there
should not be much of red color strewn or scattered all around,
be discreet and very less of red color must be used to create just
desirable and sufficient energy.
*If a child is with a weak constitution and low resistance power,
then the solar energy will be very useful. The solar energy together
with the strength of its 7 colors’ will be vital in strengthening the
immune system, phagocytosis or the defense mechanism to fight
and keep away diseases and infections. What is required is just the
sunbathing for a few minutes a day. The child will start improving
in getting over the weak constitution. Further, the main color of
the sunbeams needs to be incorporated in the room of the child.
The walls can be painted in yellow/orange, the bed-linen and the
pillowcases. These colors’ on his clothes too will be very useful.
COLOURS AND THE 21ST CENTURY :
In the 21st century, the children need the natural healing through
the power of colours to combat the stress caused by pollution,
noise, technology, mobiles, SMSs, computers, study and other ever
increasing environment factors. The colors’ take time to act and
one needs to have perseverance for the desired results. Colors need
time to merge with the psyche in the subconscious mind and they
act merged with the subtle energies of an individual child.

His Holiness Param Pujya Swamiji Sri Selvam Siddhar is
considered to be a Living God to his followers. He has made
millions of miracles in their life. Th following are few of his
devotees experiences
Krishnamoorthy Iyer, Queens NY, USA
Thanking our dear Swamiji for enabling me to pen down my
experiences and feelings to share with all our fellow devotees.
Almost 3 years back I got a very good offer from a Bank.
So, as usual I asked Swamiji about the offer informing Him
about the package, etc. But, Swamiji advised me to continue
in the same job. So I refused the offer. But for the next 1one
and half years I had to face lot of problems in the current
job and often I used to wonder about the Bank job offer;
However, keeping 100 % faith in Swamiji, I carried on in the
job. Subsequently, I came to know that the Bank in which I
was offered a job was on the verge of closure, and the person
who had picked up that position which I had refused, was
already back in India!!! He and Only He knows what is good
and for whom; our human mind can only think and argue,
why? But He has answers to all. I don’t need to repeat; He
knows our past, present and future. And without Him there is
no future for us.
5th September: As I completed 15 years in the company,
I was expecting a letter of appreciation or some sort of
recognition, but that was not to be. The management blamed
me for some high security breach in the internal IT. Instead of
appreciation letter, I was in for a warning letter for no fault of
mine. What do we do? Only Swami. We prayed and prayed.
Ultimately the solution came. After intense investigation, the
management found out the real reason and I was spared from
the warning letter.
13th September: our division head called for a meeting and
declared to cut down costs and as part of the agenda I was to
be relocated in Iran with or without family with the choice
left to us. As the offer was not acceptable to me, I decided to
look for a new job.
Highly upset I prayed to Swamiji. Prior to this we had tried
to contact Swamiji in Chennai, but He was not available.
So again, I tried Chennai hoping to leave a message. But,
wonder of wonders, Swamiji Himself picked up the call.
This was miracle in itself. He said: “Nothing to worry, they
can’t do anything to you. When you meet me next time you
will be free from this problem, slowly all the problems will
disappear, however you don’t accept this offer of relocation.”
This happened at around 7 p.m., after gaining lot of confidence
from Swamiji’s words, I called a senior manager and narrated
my woes; he also used the same words as Swami: “Don’t
worry, we will take care and you don’t accept relocation
offer”.
Finally, after intense discussion with the CEO of the
company we reached an agreement that I will visit Iran 2-3
days per month or as required and continue the same position
in Dubai. See, what a change, this is only and only because
of our 100% faith and belief in Him. His love for us speaks
volumes.
This one incident is quite hilarious involving Mr.
Krishnamoorthy, my colleague and me. Sometime during
Swamiji’s visit in early 2010, He told Mr.Krishnamoorthy, “I
am going to change your boss”. We were aghast. As I was his
boss at that time I thought that I had to hunt for a new job! But
what happened was that Mr. Krishnamoorthy got transferred
to a different department! We humans can understand only
little; His words hold lots and lots of depth. He took care of
both the devotees in His unique method.

‘CHONNADHE NADAKUMM, SANDHEGHAM ELLAI”
We once again thank Swamiji for all the guidance and love
showered on us. Everyday and every second there is a miracle
in our lives. Can we all count the number of times we call out
Swamiji? No, because He is constantly in our heart, mind and
soul. People in love think of their beloved every second. We
all are in love with our Swami who resides in our homes and
hearts. We call out to Him for everything and we definitely
get the answers too. He brings with Him love, brightness, and
energy to live. He is our confidence.

“Jai Sri Selvam Siddhar Guruve Nmaha!!”
Myself and my husband have moved from Dubai , then to
New zeland, then to Australia, and now e have settled down
happily in New Jersey, USA

I am very proud to share the truth that each and every
member in my family and my husband, Sriram’s family are
very strong devotees of Sri Swamiji. My experience with Sri
Swamiji happen every millisecond. I am not exaggerating
this point. For those who trust and believe Swamiji, they can
experience him each and every single milliseconds and see
him everywhere.
I feel writing Swamiji’s miracles itself is a miracle. When I
was writing my experiences I felt the presence of Swamiji.
Trust Swamiji and have patience to read my experiences.
My experience may be a solution to many. I have written my
experience in different parts. After writing all the experiences
I showed to one of my colleague to correct my documents.
This lady believes in Christianity. After reading all my
experiences she went speechless. She said that my miracles
are like a story, like a movie, unbelievable etc etc. After
reading my last part of miracle she gave the title “The Living
Testimony” to Dear Swamiji and she is waiting to see the
sight of Swamiji. Please start to read from Part I.
I got married to Sriram in 1998 Feb. After my marriage I
came to Abu Dhabi, UAE. Only God knows the difficult
time which we had gone through those days. Sriram did not
have a steady job and in this state he was not able to sponsor
me. Somehow after hard struggles I got a job for a very less
amount of salary. The company gave me the visa and I had
very hard time at my job. I was very new to UAE not knowing
what to do and what not to do. Sriram stayed in visit visa and
once if the visa gets expired he used to go to India and come
back in another visit visa. I was finding life very difficult.
One day when Sriram was coming from Chennai his sister
Yamini Shankar told that there is one Swamiji, whose words
never become false and he comes to Dubai also. Yamini
Shankar who was then speaking about Swamiji had not even
met Swamiji. Even before she met Swamiji she started to
believe Swamiji and became his strong devotee. She had
a chance to talk with Swamiji. During her conversation,
Swamiji had told that he will meet her brother Sriram, sister
Suchitra Kannan in Dubai and they all will become his strong
devotees. What a strange conversation to us? It’s because we
are someone who don’t believe a human talking like God and
we never had been to such person.
Sriram came to Chennai to travel to Dubai. Something struck
him and he went to Swamiji’s ashramam. But he did not meet
Swamiji. He came to Dubai. We contacted Swamiji through
the number given from the ashramam and we told that we
wanted to speak with Swamiji not even knowing that it was
Swamiji who picked up the phone. How lucky we were we
never knew at that time.
We just spoke to him casually not knowing who Swamiji is.
One day we got a call telling that there is a bhajan in Dubai
Krishna Mandir. At those times we neither had a license nor
a car. We got a cab and we went to Dubai. I thought it is just
a waste of time and money. I was not at all interested to meet
Swamiji. When we came to bhajan Swamiji was sitting and
devotees were singing songs. I did not like to sing or to clap
my hands. I forced myself to sit for the bhajan.
Then came the summer time and I had my work load little
less. I happened to do a free lancing project for a company.
I accepted this project. Please believe me at that time when I
picked up this project I did not know anything about coding.
Since only I was in the lab I had put Swamiji’s photo in one
computer and I was doing the coding in another computer.

Karma 26
The photo was there because I was browsing his web site and
nothing sort of belief in Swamiji.
Casually I looked to the photo of Swamiji and asked him
“people say that you can do miracles. If can do show me now
in doing this coding to me. Try to give the solution for my
coding”
After asking to Swamiji I started to work. PEOPLE
PLEASE BELIEVE ME I STILL DO NOT KNOW HOW I
COMPLETED THE PROJECT. Swamiji started giving me
solution by making my brains work, through some very good
web site links, through books and through some people whom
I never knew before.
I thought that there is some power with this Swamiji. Then
again my heart did not accept him completely. One day Sriram
went to Kish island for his visa renewal. That was a very
bad decision which we took from our family because I heard
through people that it’s not safe staying there. Immediately
after he landed we did not get any news from him. Sriram
was not able to communicate with us. Both my sister in law
Suchitra Kannan and I tried to reach him in different ways but
could not reach him.
During that time Swamiji was in Dubai. I tried calling and I
was able to speak with Swamiji. Swamiji told me nothing to
worry and Sriram will come soon back to Abu Dhabi and we
both will meet Swamiji. He also told me that he will speak
with me. Just after my conversation I got a call from Sriram
from Kish island. Then we came to know that there was a very
peculiar satellite failure and hence he was not able to reach us.
But how Swamiji made him to contact us immediately after
my conversation with Swamiji? I really do not know.
Then again I did not surrender myself to Swamiji. I had so
many reasons for not surrendering to Swamiji. Whenever I
close my eyes to pray I saw so many god and goddess faces
coming in front of eyes and me getting totally confused as
such to which god I should pray. This is in spite I knew the
fact that God is one.
One day I was in my lab and I switched on my computer. I
had Swamiji’s web site as my home page. When I clicked on
the internet explorer immediately the link which opened for
me was a picture of Swamiji sitting in his ashramam and just
above him I was seeing a huge picture of the Goddess whom
I was a strong devotee. My eyes filled with tears. Swamiji had
made me to see that picture to actually tell me that he appears
in different forms and only trust and belief is everything a
human needs.
How Swamiji had not let me go away from him in spite of me
not surrendering to him for so long?
In spite that I had not totally surrendered to him, just because I
asked for something how Swamiji gave me immediately.
In spite of me not surrendering to him, how well he treated me
with love and affection during my presence for his pooja’s.
People just imagine if I had lost my Swamiji where on earth I
would have been in this wild world?
Million thanks Swamiji for keeping me near to you. At
this moment I deeply pray for all those people who are not
Swamiji’s devotees should know about Swamiji to get the real
blessing for this birth of theirs.
Ms.Ranjita, Rahway, NJ. USA.

The Monkey and the Crocodile
Once
upon
a
time,
a
clever monkey lived in a tree that bore juicy, red rose apples. He
was very happy.
One fine day, a crocodile swam up to that tree and told the
monkey that he had traveled a long distance and was in search of
food as he was very hungry. The kind monkey offered him a few
rose apples. The crocodile enjoyed them very much and asked the
monkey whether he could come again for some more fruit. The
generous monkey happily agreed.
The crocodile returned the next day. And the next. And the next
one after that. Soon the two became very good friends. They
discussed their lives, their friends and family, like all friends do.
The crocodile told the monkey that he had a wife and that they
lived on the other side of the river. So the kind monkey offered him
some extra rose apples to take home to his wife. The crocodile’s
wife loved the rose apples and made her husband promise to get
her some every day.
Meanwhile, the friendship between the monkey and the crocodile
deepened as they spent more and more time together. The
crocodile’s wife started getting jealous. She wanted to put an end
to this friendship. So she pretended that she could not believe that
her husband could be friends with a monkey. Her husband tried to
convince her that he and the monkey shared a true friendship. The
crocodile’s wife thought to herself that if the monkey lived on a
diet of rose monkeys, his flesh would be very sweet. So she asked
the crocodile to invite the monkey to their house.
The crocodile was not happy about this. He tried to make the
excuse that it would be difficult to get the monkey across the
river. But his wife was determined to eat the monkey’s flesh. So
she thought of a plan.
One day, she pretended to be very ill and told the crocodile that
the doctor said that she would only recover if she ate a monkey’s
heart. If her husband wanted to save her life, he must bring her
his friend’s heart.
The crocodile was aghast. He was in a dilemma.
On the one hand, he loved his friend. On the
other, he could not possibly let his wife die. The
crocodile’s wife threatened him saying that if he
did not get her the monkey’s heart, she would
surely die.
So the crocodile went to the rose apple tree and
invited the monkey to come home to meet his
wife. He told the monkey that he could ride across
the river on the crocodile’s back. The monkey
happily agreed. As they reached the middle of the
river, the crocodile began to sink. The frightened
monkey asked him why he was doing that. The crocodile
explained that he would have to kill the monkey to save his
wife’s life. The clever monkey told him that he would gladly
give up his heart to save the life of the crocodile’s wife, but
he had left his heart behind in the rose apple tree. He asked
the crocodile to make haste and turn back so that the monkey
could go get his heart from the apple tree.
The silly crocodile quickly swam back to the rose apple
tree. The monkey scampered up the tree to safety. He told
the crocodile to tell his wicked wife that she had married the
biggest fool in the world.
The Stork and the Crab
Once upon a time, there was a stork that caught the fish in a
particular tank. The stork always had a full meal. As the years
went by, the stork grew older and weaker. His ability to catch
fish diminished. At times he would even starve. He knew he
had to do something to survive.
One day he stood by the side of the tank with a very forlorn
look on his face. The frogs, fish and crabs wondered why he
was not trying to catch any food. A big crab asked him what
the matter was. The stork answered that he was sad because
all the fish in the tank were going to die and he would have to
starve. He said that he had heard that people were going to fill
the tank with mud and grow crops over it. The fish were very
worried and asked the stork to help them.
The stork offered to take all of them to a bigger tank some
distance away. But he said that he needed to rest between trips
because of his age. He would only be able to carry a few fish
at a time.
The stork took a beakful of fish on his first trip. He flew to a
big rock and had a good meal. He rested awhile, and when he
was hungry again, he took a second trip. In this manner, he

born on the earth to help the needy people.
Mr.Manivanan Murthy is a retired school master
coincidentally he was a teacher of Swamiji when
Swamiji was in school. Now the Student has
turned in to a teacher and the Teacher is turned
into a deciple. Manikya Murthy and his family had
many experiences and witnessed many miracles
of swamiji. They stay near Viswa Mandir Guntur.
Swamiji gave him a photo of him to Manikya
Murthy. Till today sweet nectar, Vibhuti (sacred
Ash) and KUMKUM (a powder red in color, which
is holy to married women) comes from the photo.
Who ever goes to their home can see it happening
and they can touch it for themselves. There is no
magic in it. Swamiji had given the same photo to
many of his devotees but nothing is coming out of
any of the photos.
Mr. G. Ramulu Naidu is an industrialist of
Coimbatore, Indua. Once he was in Germany
for purchase of some machinery. After supper in
a Restaurant he fell unconscious and was moved
to a hospital. At that very moment his wife Mrs.
Lakshmikantam was at Viswa Mandir Guntur.
Swamiji rose from his seat placed his hand on the
head of Mrs. Lakshmikantam and said “your husband
is alright, he will be safe”. Again when she took
leave bowing to thy feet after the function at Viswa
Mandir Swamiji repeated what he said earlier about
her husband. Even though she was happy about her
husband’s welfare she was surprised at Swamiji’s
behavior ‘cause she didn’t ask Swamiji anything
about her husband. After coming home she asked her
son-in-law to make an international call to Germany
which he made and learnt all that happened. Soon
Mr. Ramarayudu got well-visited U.S.A. underwent
medical tests returned home safely. Swamiji’s
boon bestowing hand proved to be long enough to
save Mr. Ramarayudu abroad. Swamiji guards his
devotees like an angel wherever they are at all times.
Mrs.Uma Devi daughter of Mr.Ramarayudu and
Mrs.Lakshmikantam (industrialist of Guntur)
once was afflicted with Meningitis (brain fever). She
was admitted in the NIMS Hospital in Hyderabad
(Capital City of the State of Andhra Pradesh).
Doctors told the wailing parents and husband on the
fifth day that there is no hope for survival of the
patient. Mrs.Lakshmikantam telephoned Swamiji
to Guntur and told him what the doctors have said to them.
Swamiji assured that her daughter would be doing just fine
after fifteen days and He would go there to see her. Vibhuti
(the sacred ash) given by Swamiji was applied to the patient
every day. Swamiji visited the patient after fifteen days and
blessed her.
The attending doctors answered the quries made by Swamiji.
After listening to the doctors Swamiji asked the patient to
move her right hand .She slowly opened her eyes and lifted
her hand. Moved her lips in smile as a response to Swamiji’s
bidding. The doctors amazed and amused at the miracle
because the patient was almost paralyzed lying on the bed
for a fortnight by then. On another visit of Swamiji Mrs.Uma
Devi lifted her hand and held an apple placed in her hand by
Swamiji and placed her another hand on Swamiji’s stomach
under the orders of Swamiji. In due course the patient was
discharged. She improved her movement, vision, and speech
now leading a normal life as a housewife with her husband
and children in Coimbatore. The grateful parents say that
Swamiji brought their daughter back to life with his Divine
powers. They consider Him as GOD-INCARNATE who
came to earth to save mankind.

( Excerpts from Swamiji’s lecture on Hanuman Jeyanthi Day in the
Temple)
Swamiji Sri Selvam Siddhar’s Divine Guidance
Dear devotees of Swamiji Siddhar Ji!!
As one amongst you, let me at first welcome you all and convey
our Swamiji’s blessings for a very happy and prosperous New
Year 2012.Today is a very special day for all of us, since
it is the Hanumath Jayanthi day, the New Year day and the
New Moon day. Swamiji is of the opinion that such a very
rare combination will be good for our country and the world.
The scriptures say “ What you see, hear, feel and experience is
illusion”. We only see, hear, feel and experience the world around us.
We do not realize the cause for all these things. History, science and
religion tell us there were a few great souls in different ages and in
different parts of the world who could see, hear, feel and experience
that supreme being, the cause. Based upon our religious faiths we
have different names for the supreme being such as Rama, Krishna,
Christ, Allah, Anjaneya and so on. They said that the supreme being
called god multiplied into everything in this universe living and non-
living, time and space. Nothing happens without the knowledge of
that supreme being who knows everything of everybody. Supreme
being is present everywhere, from the minutest atom to the mighty
universe.
Today we are fortunate to have Swamiji with us, who through the
blessings of that supreme being called Anjaneya by us is able to
establish a link through his individual mind with that universal mind.
At that time, our Swamiji comes to know everything of everybody
and is able to give divine guidance for their problems even without
the individuals revealing anything to him. The devotees who are
amazed with the religious faith and intensity, see him as the son
of god, the messenger of god and some the god himself in human
form.
All those who come to him are treated alike. He doesn’t differentiate
based on the cast, creed, race and religion. Rich and poor make no
difference to him. Based upon his divine powers he knows what,
when and how to say the facts pertaining to all his devotees in
order to make them progress both materialistically and spiritually.
Swamiji gives divine counseling by his soothing words and blesses
them with his healing touch.
Swamiji emphasizes the cordinal principles of having faith in god
in any form, working sincerely without worrying about the results
and having no hatred towards any creature. Those who follow
these guiding principles will be happy and contended in whatever
conditions they live.
Swami Vivekananda once said, “Struggles and tortures; Tortures
and struggles, it is my fate. It is better if it is over soon”. If a
person of such purity in character and clarity of thought should
have said and undergone turmoil’s in life, what about the lesser
mortals like us. We have no other option, but to face these problems
in this world. Be born again and again until we wipe out all our
‘Karma’ and attain ‘Mukthi’ or ‘Salvation’ or ‘Enlightenment’.
Our Swamiji’s divine counseling offers a unique and effective way
to wipe out our past karma and attain equanimity. Those who have
witnessed his divine counseling know that he addresses all those
assembled before him in public when he speaks to one person, all
the other persons who witness it undergo the emotional feelings
of that individual, at that time. When Swamiji speaks to another
individual about his or her problem, that problem becomes the
problem of all those assembled there. This goes on for the whole
day. When one compares his or her personal problems with those
of the others there, he or she comes to the conclusion that his or
her problem in nothing and can be easily solved. In this manner the
devotee not only undergoes his own emotional crisis as a result of
his sufferings but he is also aware of the emotional problems of all
the persons assembled there.
A day spent with our Swamiji becomes a life time experience for
each devotee for he or she undergoes so much of spiritual awakening
that it becomes a turning point in one’s life time. If a person is
fortunate to witness our Swamiji’s divine counseling, he or she is
sure to realize and experience the various stages one has to undergo
on this earth in that moment itself. The person finally attains a state
of mind which overcomes all petty feelings and he leads a well
balanced and peaceful life. It is at that stage he attains ‘Mukthi’ or
‘Salvation’ or ‘Enlightenment’. There is hope for everyone of us to
ultimately reach that state. Our Swamiji gives confidence for each
one of us to realize god and chooses the path to attain that state
called ‘Mukthi’.
Let our Swamiji Sri Selvam Siddhar be our guiding light and guide
us for ever. Like the Sun’s rays, let his divine power spread all over
the world. Let him live for ever and shower his blessings on us. Om
Shanthi!!

Miracles of Our Swamiji Sri Selvam Siddhar
During 1995 August Sri Swamiji went to ‘Siddhanathan Cave’
at Chadhuragiri. He conducted a ‘CAMPHOR YAGA’ with for
the betterment of the world. There the followers of Swamiji had
Dharshan of ‘Lord Siva’ because of Swamiji’s Divine Power.
The upper side of the cave was lazed with roots of various big
trees found in the hills. This is a rare thing to see.
In 1994 October Swamiji had shown the full moon (Pournami)
on the Block Moon Day through his stronger Meditation
(Dhyana).
In Suruli Hills (Near Thekkadi) there is one Cava known as
‘Kailasanathar Cave’, Nobody can enter into the cave easily and
sit for Dhyana since the height of the cave is very low. In 1987,
Swamij went into that cave easily without any strain. When he
sat for ‘Dhyana’ the top of the cave had a lift of 11/2 feet high
as to sit comfortably during ‘Dhyana’. At that time the followers
and other people saw that ‘A Five Headed Cobra’ rounding his
neck. The viewers were stunned to see such a miracle.
Sri Swamiji had a silent fasting prayer for 100 hours from
06.07.1995 to 10.07.1995 for world peace and prosperous life
for all human beings. This prayer took place in a ‘separate
cottage’ where communication is not possible and also the
door is locked outside. Sri Swamiji completed this Meditation
without any kind of food and sleep even for a single minute
when he came out from the cottage people had a dharshan of his
golden coloured face with Divine power.
Sri Swamiji had conducted another ‘Yaga’ on Block Moon Day
of August 1997 at Samayal Kudil Mariamman Sakthi Peedam.
During the Yaga the ‘Agni’ (Fire) came from Space and down to
Earth through his head. The people attending the Yaga and saw
this wonder.
For the welfare of the humanity, Sri Swamiji had observed a
‘Fasting Silent Prayer’ for 23 hours.
In 1998 Sri Swamiji conducted a ‘Yaga’ at Alagar Koil Hills Near
Madurai. The purpose was noble one that to make a synchrony
between religions and to prevent the natural calamities. There he
also had a ‘silent prayer’ at “Yoga Narasimhar Sannathi”.
Sri Swamiji made a visit to Papanasam (Pothigai Hill) in the year
1999. There he had ‘Yagaa’ at Kalyana Dhearth Ghat’(square),
where Lord Siva & Shakthi marriage scenery shown to Saint
Agasthiyar a great devotee of Lord Siva. A Lady named Kalyani
Ammal was there, who had given up all the worldly things.
Most of the time she was in meditation, for more than 80 years
Even now (2010) she is there. Swamiji met her and revealed
the secrecy of her birth with the Divine power of the Goddess.
It is a known fact that, who have no re-birth, Great saints visit
this sacred place. During the nights, After finishing the ‘Yaga’
by Swamiji, the followers and living people saw the ‘sandal
showers’ on the rocks the next day morning. Yes this is another
wonder showed by Sri Swamiji.

At the same place at the middle of the river, under the water
level of 2 or 3 feet Sri Swamiji and his disciples had ‘Dhyana’
for 3 hours. Lot of fishes living in the river didn’t trouble the
‘Dhayana’ people.
In the year 2000 for the withdrawal of kargil war Sri Swamiji
observed a ‘silent prayer’ with the participation of 500 School
children at 7.30 am. and the public also participated in this seat
occasion. The miracle happened on that day evening itself that
the War came to an end. The people were immensely happy to
hear the news.
Sri Swamiji visited another ‘Kaga Pujandar Cave’ (Naga Falls)
Near Madurai where the people can enter into the cave in a lying
position only. The people and the followers chat about this. At
this time Sri Swamiji was not found there. All there tried to find
Sri Swamiji. There one man told that he had seen a snake going
into the cave. After some time the people found & Sri Swamiji
went into the cave in the ‘Snake’s Posture’. They wondered
about this.
In 1993 Sri Swamiji went to Rameswaram with his followers.
Inside of the ‘Sankara Mat’ there Sri Swamiji had ‘Dhyana’.
At that time ‘Karuda’ (one type of eagle) mode rounds above
Sri Swamiji’s head. The followers and also the devotees of the
temple saw thus and also the Sri Swamiji’s appearance was like
‘Puli Pani Siddha’ (A saint with tiger paws).

Karma 35
Sri Swamiji and his followers were in Sri Samayapuram temple
during 1998. The administrative staff asked the devotees to
have a quick move at the Dharshan. When Sri Swamiji and
the followers came in front of the Main Deity Mariamman all
other devotees and working staff were in statue like position.
Everything was in a stand still for few minutes. Immediately
after the leaving from there, the normally took place.
Even now at present (1997) the devotees tell that they have the
dharshan and the presence of Sri Swamiji at their homes and
also lye passes. Such is the simplicity and humbleness of the
great Sri Swamiji. Swamiji is like that of mountain remaining
calm and not that of remaining making sound. The above are the
very few thing among his number less wonders and miracles. It
is a very great privilege to be with him and know about various
facts and truth.

What is a Mantra?
The word ‘Mantra’ is a combination of two Sanskrit words ‘Man’
for ‘Mananat’ and ‘Tra’ for ‘Trayate’. Mananat means constantly
thinking of something, repeating it and having it in mind. Trayite
means saving or doing good. A Mantra is thus something, a word,
phrase or sound, that you repeat again and again which will save
you and be good for you.
In which way can a Mantra help you?
Saying a Mantra can save you from negativity does not mean
that you suddenly have some sort of supernatural power because
of this Mantra which will protect you. Sound has a big influence
on your mind and consciousness which is why it is used in
many therapies and psychological Peace methods. You can feel
yourself that you feel good when listening to beautiful and joyful
music whereas other music styles can raise aggression. The sense
behind repeating a Mantra is that it increases positivity inside
you and reconditions your mind towards a positive attitude. It is
a psychological process which helps you to a happier life.
Protection from Negativity
With the repetition of something positive, you will be positive
and the repetition will help you to stay positive even if there is
negativity around you. When you repeat a positive phrase about
happiness, for example how beautiful the morning is, you will be
in this happiness and even if there is a person who thinks it is a
horrible day, you will remain in your good mood. The Mantra ‘it
is a beautiful morning’ has saved you from losing your happiness.
Mantras for Illnesses and Diseases
Mantras for physical issues are not like a painkiller pill that you
can chew and everything is fine. A Mantra helps you to have
stability for your mind to deal with whatever comes up with
this illness. Mantra meditation helps breaking old patterns of
thinking and acting like the tendency to suffer. Instead it helps us
to remain strong and fight the illness.
Can a Mantra harm you?
No, a Mantra cannot harm you and it cannot harm anybody else.
Some people claim that they can give you a Mantra which will
harm competitors and enemies but a Mantra is not a magic spell!
A Mantra has in its name that it is doing something good for you.
What if I pronounce it wrong?
If you recite a Sanskrit Mantra it is just natural that you cannot
pronounce it fully correctly at least in the beginning as it is not
your mother tongue. After listening many times and with some
practice you may be able to say it correctly but even if there
are some sounds which do not exist in your language and which
your tongue refuses to pronounce, there will be absolutely no
harm done! Some people think Mantras work like magic spells
in movies and fiction books where you have to say it correctly for
it to work. It is the intention, the feeling and the love that count
while you are saying your Mantra. If you say ‘I am happy with
my full heart’ and you do not pronounce it correctly, you still
know what you are saying and your heart feels happy and light,
so don’t worry, you cannot do anything wrong.
How to choose a Mantra?
You also have the possibility to receive a
personal Mantra chosen for you by Swami
Ji. Please call Swamiji Sri Selvam Siddhar

Upanishads. Even
though there were
many Upanishads from
the four Vedas, only 108
of them are known today.
Even out of those 108, only
27 Upanishads are widely read
and studied today. Many scholars
have researched the Upanishads.
Even then, it is a never-ending subject.
Now I try to furnish a few of my ideas on
Spirituality taught by the Upanishads.
Upanishad means the inner or mystic teaching.
The term Upanishad is derived from upa (near), Ni
(down) and s (h) ad (to sit), i.e., sitting down near.
Groups of pupils sit near the teacher to learn from him
the secret doctrine. In the quietude of the forest hermitages,
the Upanishad thinkers pondered on the problems of
deepest concerns and communicated their knowledge to fit
pupils near them. Adhi Sankara derives the word Upanishad
as a substitute from the root sad, ‘to loosen,’ ‘to reach’ or ‘to
destroy’ with Upa and Ni as prefixes and kvip as termination.
If this determination is accepted, Upanishad means Brahma-
knowledge by which ignorance is loosened or destroyed.
The treatises that deal with Brahma-knowledge are called
the Upanishads and so pass for the Vedanta. The different
derivations together make out that the Upanishads give us both
spiritual vision and philosophical argument. There is a core of
certainty, which is essentially incommunicable except by a way
of life. It is by a strictly personal effort that one can reach the
truth. The Upanishads more clearly set forth the prime Vedic
doctrines like Self-realization, yoga and meditation, karma
and reincarnation, which were hidden or kept veiled under the
symbols of the older mystery religion. The older Upanishads
are usually affixed to a particularly Veda, through a Brahmana
or Aranyaka. The more recent ones are not. The Upanishads
became prevalent some centuries before the time of Krishna
and Buddha.
The main figure in the Upanishads, though not present in many
of them, is the sage Yajnavalkya. Most of the great teachings
of later Hindu and Buddhist philosophy derive from him. He
taught the great doctrine of “neti-neti”, the view that truth can be
found only through the negation of all thoughts about it. Other
important Upanishadic sages are Uddalaka Aruni, Shwetaketu,
Shandilya, Aitareya, Pippalada, and Sanat Kumara. Many
earlier Vedic teachers like Manu, Brihaspati, Ayasya and
Narada are also found in the Upanishads. In the Upanishads,
the spiritual meanings of the Vedic texts are brought out and
emphasized in their own right. Every one of us has to perform
his or her duty designated as Svadharma to please God, to serve
the world and to repay one’s debt to the society. Svadharma
implies ambition commensurate with one’s capacity and the
necessary inclination as the drive to achieve it. Our well-being
lies in performing our Svadharma. Paradharma, duty suitable
for others but not for us, will positively harm us if chosen by
us. The basic teachings of the Upanishads are summed up in six
great sayings (Mahavakyas). These are as follows.
1.”I am Brahman” (Aham Brahmasmi). This states the
identity of the inmost consciousness of the individual with
that of the supreme Divine. The ultimate truth of Vedic
knowledge is not that some great savior is God or the
Lord or that such and such a God or name and form
of God is the supreme. It is not the worship of a
person, book, image or idea. It is not even the
worship of God. The Upanishads say that
whatever we worship as truth apart from
ourselves destroys us. They teach that
our own Self is the true Divinity, that
it is the presence of the absolute
within our heart and the entire
universe. The hidden meaning
of the sentence is “each
and every one can attain
Godlihood by practicing
the Spirituality.
2.”The Self is
B r a h m a n ”
(Ayam Atma
B r a h m a ) .
This also states
the identity of
the soul with the
Absolute but in a
more objective and less
direct manner. Not only
is our Self the Divine. The
same Self in all beings is the
same Absolute truth.
3.”That thou art” (Tat tvam asi).
Whatever we see or think about we
are that. Not only is the I that, the

Karma 41
you is also that. We are that ultimate I and Thou in all. The
consciousness in the other is also the Divine.
4.”Intelligence is Brahman” (Prajnanam Brahma). Our
discernment of truth is the truth itself. It indicates that the
Divine intelligence is present within us and has the power to
return us to the Divine. Our inmost intelligence is that supreme
intelligence through which we can merge into the Absolute.
5.”The Universe is Brahman” (Sarvam Khalvidam Brahma).
The entire universe is the Divine, which includes our self. The
Divine is not only the consciousness principle in you and I, it
is also the being principle in all things. It is the ultimate object
as well as the inmost subject in all beings. It is one and all and
all in one.
6.”He am I” (So’ham). This shows the identity of the self
with the Divine Lord inherent within the natural movement of
our breath. “So” is the natural sound of inhalation, “ham” of
exhalation.
These are statements of the identity of the individual
consciousness with the Absolute or Divine reality. They all
derive from and merge into Om (AUM), the Divine Word of “I
am all”. Now let us see a little of the Upanishads.
The Brhad-Aranyaka Upanishad, which is generally
recognized to be the most important of the Upanishads, forms
part of the Satapatha Brahmana. It consists of three Kandas
or sections, the Madhu Kanda which expounds the teachings
of the basic identity of the individual and the Universal
Self, the Yajnavalkya or the Muni Kanda which provides the
philosophical justification of the teaching of Khila Kanda,
which deals with certain modes of worship and meditation,
upasana, answering roughly to the three stages of religious
life, sravana, hearing the upadesha or the teaching, manana,
logical reflection, upapatti and nididhyasana or contemplative
meditation.
The Chandogya Upanishad belongs to the Sama Veda.
Chandoga is the singer of the Saman. The Upanishads that
belongs to the followers of the Sama Veda is the Chandogya
Upanishad. It is part of the Chandogya Brahmana, which has
ten chapters. The first two chapters of the Brahmana deal with
sacrifices and other forms of worships. The other chapters
discuss the problems of liturgy and doctrine such as the genesis
The Isa, also called the Isavasya Upanishad, derives its name
from the opening word of the text Isavasya or Isa. It belongs
to the Vajasaneyi School of the Yajur Veda. The Vajasaneyi
Samhita consists of forty chapters of which this Upanishad is
the last. Its main purpose is to teach the essential unity of God
and the world, being and becoming. It is interested not so much
in the Absolute in itself, Parabrahman, as in the Absolute in
relation to the world, Paramesvara. It teaches that life in the
world and life in the Divine Spirit are not incompatibles and
significance of Aum and the meaning and names of Saman.
The Aitareya Upanishad belongs to the Rig Veda and the
Upanishad proper consists of three chapters. This is part of the
Aitareya Aranyaka, and the Upanishad begins with the Fourth
chapter of the second Aranyaka, and comprises Chapter IV, V
and VI. The preceding parts deal with sacrificial ceremonies
like mahavrata and their interpretations.
It is the purpose of this Upanishad to lead the mind of the
sacrificer away from the outer ceremonial to its inner meaning.
All true sacrifice is inward. Sankara points out that there are
three classes of men who wish to acquire wisdom. The highest
consists of those who have turned away from the world, whose
minds are free and collected, who are eager for freedom. For
these the Upanishad (Aitareya Aranyaka II. 4-6) is intended.
Others wish to become free gradually by attaining to the world
of Hiranya-garbha. For them the knowledge and worship of
the prana, life-breath is intended. (Aitareya Aranyaka II 1-3).
There are still others who care only for worldly possessions.
For them the meditative worship of Samhita is intended.
The Taittiriya Upanishad belongs to the Taittiriya School of the
Yajur Veda. It is divided into three sections called Vallis. The
first is the Siksa Valli. Siksa is the first of the six Vedangas
(limbs or auxiliaries of the Veda); it is the science of phonetics
and pronunciation. The second is the Brahmananda Valli and
the third is the Bhrugu Valli. These two deal with the knowledge
of the Supreme Self, paramatma-jnana.

Karma 44
Katha Upanishad, also called Kathakopanishad, which belongs
to the Taittiriya School of the Yajur Veda, uses the setting
of a story found in ancient Sanskrit literature. A poor and
pious Brahmana, Vajasravasa, performs a sacrifice and gives
as presents the priests a few old and feeble cows. His son,
Naciketas, feeling disturbed by the unreality of his father’s
observance of the sacrifice, proposes that he himself may be
offered as offering (daksina) to a priest. When he persisted in
his request, his father in rage said, ‘Unto Yama, I give thee.’
Naciketas gives to the abode of Yama and finding him absent,
waits there for three days and nights unfed. Yama on his return
offers three gifts in recompense for the delay and discomfort
caused to Naciketas. For the first, Naciketas asked, ‘Let me
return alive to my father.’ For the second, ‘Tell me how my
good works (ista-purta) may not be exhausted’; and for the
third, ‘Tell me the way to conquer re-death (punar mrtyu).’ In
the Upanishad, the third request is one for enlightenment on
the ‘great transition’, which is called death. The Upanishad
consists of two chapters, each of which has three Vallis or
sections.
There are some passages common to the Gita and Katha
Upanishad. (1) Taittiriya Brahmana: The first mention of the
story is in the Rig Veda where we read how the boy Naciketas
was sent by his father to Yama (Death), but was allowed to get
back on account of his great faith, sraddha.
The Prasna Upanishad belongs to the Atharva Veda and has
six sections dealing with six questions put to a sage by his
disciples who were intent on knowing the nature of the ultimate
cause, the power of Aum, the relation of the Supreme to the
constituents of the world. The Upanishad is so called as it deals
with prasna or question.
The Kena Upanishad derives its name from the first word Kena,
by whom, and belongs to the Sama Veda. It is also known as
the Talavakara, the name of the Brahmana of the Sama Veda to
which the Upanishad belongs.
It has four sections, the first two in verse and the other two in
prose. The metrical portion deals with the Supreme Unqualified
Brahman, the absolute principle underlying the world of
phenomenon and the prose part of the Upanishad deals with the
Supreme as God, Isvara. The knowledge of the Absolute, para
vidya, which secures immediate liberation (sadyo-mukti), is
possible only for those who are able to withdraw their thoughts
from worldly objects and concentrate on the ultimate fact of
the universe. The knowledge of Isvara, apara vidya, puts one
on the pathway that leads to deliverance eventually (karma-
mukti). The worshipping soul gradually acquires the higher
wisdom, which results in the consciousness of the identity with
the Supreme.
The Mundaka Upanishad belongs to the Atharva Veda and has
three chapters, each of which has two sections. The name is
derived from the root mund, ‘to shave,’ as he that comprehends
the teaching of the Upanishad is shaved or liberated from error
and ignorance. The Upanishad states clearly the
distinction between the higher knowledge of the
Supreme Brahman and the lower knowledge of
the empirical world. It is by this higher wisdom
and not by sacrifices or worship, which one can
reach Brahman. Only sanyasi, who has given up
everything, can obtain the highest knowledge.
The Mandukya Upanishad belongs to the
Atharva Veda and contains twelve verses.
It is an exposition of the principle of Aum as
consisting of three elements, a, u, m, which
refer to the three states of walking, dream
and dreamless sleep. The Supreme Self is
manifested in the universe in its gross, subtle
and causal aspects. Answering to the four
states of consciousness, wakefulness, dream,
dreamless sleep, transcendental consciousness,
these are aspects of the Godhead, the last alone
being all-inclusive and ultimately real. The
Absolute of mystic consciousness is the reality
of the God of religion. The Upanishad by itself,
it is said, is enough to lead one to liberation.
Not only by the simple reading of the Upanishads
can one become great in spiritual life. We
should try at least to adopt only one principle
of any of the Upanishads. By that practice, we
can lead a highly spiritual life. The spiritual life
leads us to have a comfortable living without
any frictions. I thank Almighty and Swamiji for
giving me the opportunity to share my thoughts
on Spirituality. In the next issue, I will meet you

In the evening, mostly in the beginning of our stay somewhere,
there is a Darshan. Darshan is a group meditation for opening the
heart chakra. In this people get help to open their hearts and to
feel and express their feelings. It takes approximately one hours
(depending on the amount of people. We do this mostly in the
beginning so that people get a chance to get to know Swami Ji
in a group and can also book individual counseling after getting
to know him a little bit.
Chakra Workshops
If people are interested in a more detailed explanation of the
chakras, a Chakra Workshop can be organized. In this Swami
Ji also gives methods and techniques on how to work with
the own chakras and how to remove blockages by yourself.
Chakra Workshops can take place half a day, a full day or even
a weekend. Swami Ji needs at least 20 participants to give this
workshop. For a better impression of what a chakra workshop is,
you can watch a video of chakra workshops here.

Today’s modern lifestyle brings many advantages such as super fast ways of transportation, devices of information that you can carry and access everywhere you are, media that brings the whole world close to you and much more. What is missing though, in this hectic and busy life which bombards you constantly with information and input that your brain has to process, are answers to the basics of life: why are we here, where are we going, what should we do in difficult situations? People are looking for spiritual guidance, they are searching for someone to show them the way and give them answers to their questions.
Unfortunately many turn to organizations and communities which promise help and support but instead manipulate and turn out to be sects or followers of dubious masters and gurus. Instead of receiving the answers they were looking for, people are often exploited and disappointed. This is how Swami Ji and Pundit Sharma JI encourage everyone who comes to them to find the truth and balance within themselves, not in the
outside. They offer help and counseling on how you can find
back to inner peace and harmony in life.
Spiritual Peace now called Spiritual Counseling
Have you landed here in your search for spiritual Peace? You

A Spiritual Guide to Inner Peace - Swami Ji

scriptures, people used to come to him and ask him for advice
which he could provide with the knowledge of the scriptures. Of
course with time experience added to this knowledge and this
is how he kept on consulting others in difficult situations of life
even after he had left the traditional life of a Guru.
Helping others has always been that which made Swami Ji the
most happy and this is how people come to him for getting advice
for problems in their relationship, with family and friends or
with the partner as well as business and health issues. He offers
answers to energetical questions regarding the energy system in
our body and the flow of energy through our chakras. If you
come to Swami Ji with any question, any psychological problem
or just for emotional support, you can share your feelings and
thoughts with him. In his direct and honest way he may give
you an answer to help you get rid of any confusion or he may
do counseling in silence - just a way of sharing emotions, being
together and giving support on an energetic level.
Swami Ji believes in the power of love and prayers. And a touch
is love, just like a touch by a loving mother when she holds
her baby in her hands. Doesn’t this stop all crying and make all
pain forgotten? Even a loving stroke over the back or holding
the hands of someone who has much love towards you can give
great relief. And the prayers that he will be saying are ancient
mantras with which he was meditating during his three and a
half years in the cave.
Swami Ji believes that there is not any problem that cannot be
solved if you are honest. Honest to others as well as towards
yourself and your feelings. Come for spiritual counseling with
Pundit Sharma and you will reach clarity and harmony
which will finally give you a feeling of inner peace.
Apart from the physical aspects however he also got to know
how these factors influence the situation of our mind and our
emotions. People in the west often experience stress, negativity,
depression and unstable emotional situations. Whether it is
problems in relationships, in the family or with the own mind,
body and life, Pundit Sharma Ji welcomes everyone who
would like to share with him and get his counseling. With the
background of the sciences of Yoga and Siddha, Siddha, his
experience in counseling people, his open loving heart and his
sensitiveness towards the feelings of others and of situations,
you can be sure that Pundit Sharma Ji will help you in finding
a way back to a calm and peaceful situation. He might give you
small exercises and practical examples for the mind, guide you
in conversation to the point of your feelings where you cannot
reach on your own and support you on your way to a happy
living full of love.
Uniqueness of Each Session
However your consultation will look like and whether you
choose to have counseling by Pundit Sharma ji or Swami Ji, it
will not be comparable to any other person’s session before or
after because we all are unique beings, with our own characters
and feelings. We are in different situations and can handle them
in different ways. Some of us may need more courage to do what
others do without much effort; some of us need more self-esteem
and self-confidence to be able to express emotions while others
need help to control their overflow of emotions and expressions.
Pundit Sharma ji as spiritual counselor always respond to
each person individually, considering the current situation and
the personality of the one in front of them. There is no general
advice that fits for everybody.
Who will benefit from Spiritual Counseling?
Anybody can come to a spiritual consultation, be it for getting
spiritual advice, sharing a difficult emotional situation, getting
relief from pain or just being with someone who listens and
feels. Swami Ji and Pundit Sharma JI can however show you

Guru Maharaj “Swamiji Sri Selvam Siddhar”
Sex drugs really don’t work very well for women because they
can’t fix deep-set problems. Plus, it’s not a good idea to rely on
potentially dangerous medications (sex drugs) in order to have
great sex.
“AtharvaSex Mooliga” Kit” for Women . This Kit includes
powerful herbal formulas designed to enhance all phases of a
woman’s sex life. Together with proper Atharva Mantra and
Thantra.
Herbs have been associated with love potions for thousands of
years -- for women as well as men. Certain herbs may have a
great deal of influence on several aspects of a woman’s sexual
response and performance. Some herbs help reawaken her
libido. Some boost her sexual energy and stamina levels. Others
intensify her sexual excitement and satisfaction.
Normal sexual function requires healthy organs and healthy
glands to produce the necessary sex hormones. Herbs are
superior body balancers that work through the glands. The right
combinations of herbs help a woman achieve better glandular
response to sensory input, as well as balancing hormone levels
for more vigorous sex.
And there’s more! A good herbal combination can even help
overcome certain aspects of sexual dysfunction. Difficulty
achieving orgasm, menstrual and menopausal discomforts,
and low libido can be addressed with herbs. Indeed, herbs can
be formulated with amazing specificity to work like precision
instruments in the body with quick results.
Reason: Herbs are concentrated foods -- whole essences with
the ability to address both the symptoms and the causes of a
problem. As nourishment, herbs provide nutrients the body does
not always receive, either from a poor diet or environmental
deficiencies in the soil and air. As medicines, herbs act essentially
as body balancers that work with body functions. This way, the
body can regulate and even heal itself.
It helps reduce fluid retention, breast tenderness, abdominal
bloating, mood swings, and depression. Licorice strengthens
adrenal glands to boost energy levels and minimize the effects
of stress.
Combats the effects of fluctuating hormones. An antispasmodic,
it relieves menstrual cramps, menopausal hot flashes and
uterine contractions.
This “AtharvaSex Mooliga” ” Package has a normalizing
effect on the sex drive. It stimulates production of the hormone
progesterone and balances estrogen dominance. Chaste tree
berry helps overcome depression associated with the menstrual
cycle, headaches, premenstrual acne, breast tenderness, and

Siddha massage is an ancient science which, although originated
thousands of years ago, is still used as a treatment for many
problems and ailments. Additionally to the nutrition suggestions,
Siddha oil massages are recommended for relaxation of body
and mind as well as for stimulation of nerves and muscles.
Presently Swamiji Sri Selvam siddhar is the only Hindu in he
whole north America who knows the secrets and a scholar of
Atharva Vedic Siddha massage which is of thousands of years
old kept secret.
In ancient times, Siddha massages were such a commonly known
practice throughout India, that Siddha practitioners and clinics
did not even offer them. People consulted Siddha doctors only
for particular treatments and special needs in order to receive
a specific treatment. Nowadays however you will find Siddha
massage offers in all Siddha clinics and also in wellness spas.
Through the detoxifying process as well as the relaxation of the
mind, Siddha massage also has a great effect on your mental
and psychological state. When your mind can relax from the
stress and overwhelming input of your surroundings, it has time
to sort thoughts and emotions.
In Hindu traditions it is even today usual to give an Siddha
massage to both, the bride and the groom, as a special ceremony
that lets them relax and makes their skin soft and glow from
inside. The soothing relaxation helps a couple - newlyweds or
not - to share and give love. Siddha massages are thus even
recommended for partners who wish to maintain a loving
relationship.
Therapeutic Treatment
Today’s busy, modern world offers many advantages but is
at the same time a challenge for the human mind and body.
Constant stress and pressure weigh heavy on our minds while
long sitting and working hours as well as a permanently
wrong posture give strain to our body. While a lot of people
are disappointed with the treatment that allopathic medicine
offers, those who have experienced Siddha Massages and
procedures are often convinced by the results: they feel better,
muscles could relax, strain and stress was lifted and pain could
thus be reduced. These are the most common and recommended
procedures: Pizhichil, Njavarakizhi, Abhayangam, Shirodhara,
Shirovasti, Elakizhi and Ubatan.
Abhyangam- Siddhar style
Abhyangam is that what most people will imagine when they
hear ‘Siddha oil massage’. Herbal medicated oil is used to
massage the entire body. While doing this, the therapist takes
care to press the 107 vital points, called marmas, of the body.
This massage obviously has great benefits on the entire body.
It enhances the blood circulation, it tones your muscles,
rejuvenates your skin, strengthens the tissues and relaxes
your nerves. Through the relaxation of the body your mind is
soothed. Your body and immune system can resist influences
from outside better. You have better sleep, your skin shines and
you feel young and full of power.
Shirodhara- Siddhar style
Shirodhara is probably one of the most widely known Siddha
treatments. It is a gentle massage as well as treatment in
which oil with Siddha herbs is poured onto your forehead in a
continuous stream.
The effect of Shirodhara is often described as a rarely experienced
relaxation of the mind. Any stress and tension is relieved which
has a relaxing effect on your mental and emotional situation.
Shirodhara is thus strongly recommended for people suffering
from insomnia, depression or burn-out. Sleep is improved,
concentration gets easier and it can even change your general
attitude towards more positivity.

Karma 50
If the therapist uses buttermilk instead of oil,
the therapy is called Takradhara.
Pizhichil or Sarvangadhara- Siddhar style
’Pizhichil’ literally means squeezing. It is
however not the body that is squeezed but
a piece of cloth which the therapist dips
periodically into a bowl containing warm oil
with Siddha herbs. This oil is thus squeezed
onto your body in a continuous stream over
a longer period of time. The whole body
except for head and neck thus experienced
this warming and relaxing stream of oil.
Apart from its obvious soothing effect on the
mind, Pizhichil relaxes the muscles of the
whole body while the herbs reach deeper into
the body tissues. Pizhichil is recommended
for problems caused by the dosha Vata. It has
beneficial effects for patients with muscle
spasms, frequent cramps and even paralysis
and hemiplegia.
Njavarakizhi- Siddhar style
In preparation for Njavarakizhi, oil with
Siddha herbs is applied all over the body.
After that you receive a massage with a
warm bundle filled with Siddha herbs and
medicine and dipped into warm milk.
The warmth, further supported by the
Siddha massage and herbs, makes the body
sweat out toxins. Through the rubbing with
the bundle, dead skin is removed so that new
skin can grow. This process not only makes
your skin shine through the revitalisation and
thus gives the impression of a rejuvenating
therapy but also helps against certain skin
disorders and impurities. Apart from this
effect, Siddha suggests this therapy for all types of rheumatism,
pain in the joints and arthritis. Its relaxing and soothing effect
is helpful during the convalescence period after traumatic
experiences. General weakness is another reason for an Siddha
doctor to recommend this massage. Patients suffering from
paralysis have experienced relief after repeated application of
this and other treatments over a prolonged period of time.
Shirovasti- Siddhar style
Usually Snehana (oiling) and Swedana (sweating, for example
through steam) is done before one starts a Shirovasti treatment.
For Shirovasti, a crown or cap is formed out of a hard cloth that
is then fixed with a paste to the head so that it can be filled from
the top without leaking. Warm oil with Siddha herbs is filled
into the cap and remains there for some time.
The benefits of this treatment go far from a relief of headaches
and earache to a a distince improval of all sensory functions.
The warm oil stimulates nerves at the top of your head and is
thus recommended for diseases and problems connected with
your cranial nerves. Siddha recommends the treatment for facial
paralysis, cataract and glaucoma but also for schizophrenia,
obsessive-compulsive disorders, memory loss, insomnia and
disorientation. It is described as a Shamana treatment rather
than a Shodhana treatment, which means that it alleviates
problems rather than cure them completely.
Elakizhi- Siddhar style
For Elakizhi your therapist will prepare bundles of various
herbs and herbal powder. These bundles are warmed in Siddha
oils and then used for massaging your body.
Elakizhi is a therapy that revitalizes your skin. Blood circulation
is increased and your body sweats out toxins. Your skin releases
these toxins and through the massage, dead skin particles are
removed. Swamiji also recommend this massage against joint
pain, muscle cramps and arthritis. Of course the massage also
reduces any stress levels in your body.
Ubatan- Siddhar style
Ubatan is a Beauty Massage. It is used to help the elderly and
special techniques have been developed for young mothers
as well as babies. All those treatments can be performed on a
healthy person, too, simply to strengthen the immune system
and giving back energy to the body. For patients, a Siddha doctor
usually recommends different combinations of treatments and
herbs. Specific Siddha massage therapies are used in certain
therapeutic treatments like in Panchakarma purification.
If you would like to experience different Siddha massages and
Siddha treatments, you are welcome to come to a Yoga and
Siddha retreat to the Ashram.

A chakra meditation to open the heart chakra
The word Darshan comes from Sanskrit and means sight,
looking, showing, teaching. Darshan also refers to the spiritual
vision or awareness in which you experience the Divine inside
your heart. It is a group meditation.
Swami Ji’s Darshan is a heart chakra meditation designed to
bring back the feelings into life. He wants to give training
for the mind not to control the feelings too much. He gives
an introduction on how to come from head to heart so
that blockages in the heart chakra can be dissolved. These
blockages were created by suppressing feelings and emotions.
For dissolving these blockages and the resulting problems
Swami Ji wants to invite to a Darshan. You can start expressing
your true self without shyness and with full honesty.
A healing meditation - what exactly will happen?
Swami Ji will guide into the meditation in which everyone will
make a journey to his or her own heart. Swami Ji always points
out that it is important to let all feelings flow that are inside of
you. In this way there is wonderful energy during a Darshan.
When people open their hearts, some of them are laughing,
others dancing, others are crying because their pain is finally
released. People sense a calm and loving energy, which leads
to inner peace. The blockages are dissolved and the physical
problems eased with this healing of the heart chakra.
Anyone can come to a Darshan with Swami ji to raise the energy
levels in their chakras and to open their hearts. Darshan is also
suitable for those who have had an individual counselling with
him and wish to maintain the resulting energies for a longer
period of time.
Swami ji makes this heart chakra meditation available to
everyone free of charge. Donations for the Temple , Ashram
and his charitable projects are welcome.
Everybody who has already been at a Darshan is most welcome
to share his or her individual experience with us, so we can
share it with our viewers from all over the world so that they,
too, get an impression of how you feel in a Darshan.

The Benefits of
being Silence
Silence holds the key to a wholesome life, ultimate liberation and attainment of happiness. In silence we can get clarity about our visions and wishes, our patterns of thinking and feeling and how we act in our world. Silence is a tool which helps us know and experience fully who we are and what our purpose in life is.
Fear of Silence
In our modern world there is hardly ever complete silence.
People also avoid silence and even seem to be afraid of it. There
is always some background noise, whether that is traffic, music
or a TV. It is difficult for some of us to be in silence because it
so clearly brings up our own identity. We are so often playing a
role and are actually embarrassed or ashamed of whom we are.
We are not in peace with ourselves so we try to keep our mind
busy with different kinds of input so that we do not have to think
of who we really are.
Speech - the biggest consumer of our energy
When talking we are using a lot more oxygen than when we are
in silence. Excessive talking causes energy burnout and lets our
mind overheat which then in turn has effects on our reactions. We
become angry and impatient, are not able to act calmly, coolly or
rationally anymore. Also listening to people who talk a lot takes
a lot of energy.
Communication in Silence
There can be many other ways to communicate with each other
without using speech, Swami Ji believes that when two people
meet it is possible to communicate on another level because
communication is not just only by speech. It anyway happens all
the time, just when two eyes meet. Words can only ever give a
limited interpretation of our real feeling; words will never grasp
the real sentiments of feelings and emotions.
Swami Ji’s Practice and Love of Silence
Swami Ji has been practicing silence at a very young age and
spent times of three months up to one year alone and in silence
in jungles and forests before and after entering the cave in 1989
for a three and a half months, practice of silence in the cave. But
not only alone, he also spent times in silence while being in full
company. Being in silence is both important and necessary for
Swami Ji to exist in this world. Whether it is while traveling with
his work or being at home at the Ashram he would encourage
people to hug him or sit with him in silence from time to time.
Silence Therapy
Also in his counseling sessions Swami Ji works with silence
therapy. Often he just lets the eyes and maybe a touch speak
and express all that is inside. Whether it is fear or pain, sorrow
or laughter, everything can be expressed in this way. After this
experience people often feel very light as if they had a big weight
taken off their shoulders

You don’t need to kill to still your hunger!
We need to take care of our environment, the people and beings
living around us and the generations to come after us. There are
many reasons to be vegetarian. One of them is that from the amount
of grains that are planted to feed cattle which is only raised for
being killed, we could feed millions of starving people on the whole
world. These animals are only raised to be killed. As a human
person you need to have sensitivity in your heart, a love for each
living being. How can you kill an innocent animal just to feed your
stomach? They have a right to live just like us. We should take care
and protect animals and the environment but what is happening
is that we are destroying and exploiting. Do something against
it! Becoming vegetarian, choosing not to eat meat but a healthy
vegetarian diet is thus not only good for yourself, your health and
body but also for your environment.
You are what you eat
Whatever you eat, whatever you put into your stomach, it will reflect
on your body and mind and in this way on your physical as well
as your mental health. Eating is not just filling your stomach like
filling a garbage bin. Food is not only food, it is vitamins, minerals,
fibres, carbohydrates, proteins and more which our body needs not
only to survive but also to be in balance and be healthy and strong
which then of course has an impact on our mind and overall being.
So you need to take care what you take into your body, it will be
part of your system. A balanced vegetarian diet is the solution.
Why you should be vegetarian and not eat meat
Vegetarian Food is not boring! Delicious Vegetarian Recipes,
Vegetarian Cooking Workshops and Retreats
You read this whole page, are convinced of everything above
but just have one more problem: you think vegetarian food is
just boring? That is another common misconception in the West
where some people believe, vegetarians just leave away the meat
and eat the side-dishes instead. That would be indeed boring.
However there is a great range of delicious vegetarian dishes
prepared with a variety of vegetables and spices. As a big part of
the Indian population lives vegetarian, the Indian kitchen offers
many vegetarian recipes with which you will definitely never get
boring. India is the home country of Siddha, and this is how many
commonly cooked dishes have a high nutritional value as well. In
Siddha Cooking Workshops Swamiji Sri Selvam Siddhar teaches
the preparation of Siddha food. Alternatively you can get first-hand
experience by participating in an Siddha Cooking Retreat in India
and get to know many vegetarian dishes for your wholesome meal.
We have collected some of these vegetarian recipes online, too.
Enjoy eating healthy and nutritious food in harmony with nature,
environment and the animals around you.
How eating meat harms your health
Eating meat, which means any kind of flesh food including fish
and poultry, has several harmful effects on your body. Apart from
the fact that a non-vegetarian diet often contains more fat than the
body needs or can use, the meat also contains hormones, herbicides,
pesticides and antibiotics due to the way that the animals were kept.
All of these substances enter your body while eating and your body
needs to work to get rid of all of them again. But of course some
enter the body and together with other harmful substances which
were created during the preparation they increase major chronic
diseases like cancer, heart disease, kidney disease and osteoporosis.
It is not only on our body that eating meat has negative effects; our
emotions and our mind also are affected by it. If you take the saying
‘you are what you eat’ and you see people who eat animals, then
watch them and see that the saying is true. A meat-eater often has
more easily emotions like anger and aggression. And many people
are aware of what they are doing - killing to eat. And the minutes of
death of the animal that you are eating are with you whenever you
take a bite.
Health benefits of a vegetarian diet
In the west there is still the wrong perception that eating meat is
necessary for your health. On the contrary a proper vegetarian diet
gives you more energy, keeps your body healthy and free of toxins.
Studies and researches have found that vegetarians live longer and
more healthily than meat-eaters.
If you keep a diet with vegetables, grains, legumes, fruits and lentils
or beans, you have everything your body needs: vitamins, fibres and
with lentils or beans also enough proteins. A healthy vegetarian diet
together with regular exercise is associated with less obesity, lower
blood cholesterol levels, lower blood pressure and resulting from
that less heart disease, diabetes, cancer, stroke and finally mortality.
It is simple: vegetarians live longer!
Nature and Destiny of our Body
Our body is not made for eating meat. If you look at the jaw of
carnivores, like tigers or dogs, you see that they have teeth for
hunting and tearing apart meat and bones. The teeth of herbivores
however, such as cows or horses, are made for grinding grains and
chewing vegetables. And if you compare our jaw, you will find that
it is much more similar to the jaw of horses or cows. Our teeth are
just not made for non-vegetarian food.
It is not only our teeth but also our intestines which are made for a
vegetarian diet. Our intestinal tract is longer than that of carnivores,
so that we can digest grains and greens. Carnivores have to pass
the raw meat that they eat through their intestines quickly as it has
lots of bacteria which can harm the body. Our whole body, our
metabolism and the entire system is not made for eating meat.

Learn to heal yourself
In the three seminars of The Law of Peace (Level I to III) you can
get to know how everybody can apply these laws on his life and
thus start, continue and anchor positive changes in life. Attention
will be paid on the physical, the mental and the spiritual part. The
frequency of the vibration on earth was increasing significantly
during the past years and still is. This makes it possible and
necessary for everyone to develop his consciousness in order to
heal himself.
Pundit Sharma Ji teaches the ways to self-Peace. During a
meditative retreat of more than three years isolated from the
world, he adjusted his own energy to these new frequencies.
This intensive retreat did not only help him to fully realize
his connection to the universe but also induced him to spread
this energy all over the world. Swami Ji’s Peace work is based
on the interaction of body, mind and soul. Every physical and
psychological problem derives from blockages in the etheric
body. Everyone is able to use this power to dissolve blockages
and to heal the entity of body, mind and soul.
In spring 2002 he met Dr. Narendra Dev for the first time. He is
medical specialist in psychosomatic medicine and psychotherapy
and has been working successfully in his practice for the last 20
years. With this encounter an intensive exchange of thoughts and
experiences of spiritual Peace methods started which resulted in
the development of the series of seminars The Law of Peace.
Already at the beginning of his clinical work he discovered a
strong flow of energy between his hands which, when he put his
hand on aching body parts, soothed pain and sometimes even
freed patients from pain. Several expeditions through Europe, to
the USA and above all to India provided him with explanatory
approaches and helped him on his search for new and more
effective treatments, which he could not get in numerous
specialist trainings. With these treatments he helps people to
recognize and change old and negative patterns of thoughts and
thus heals their mind from self-created problems.
As body, mind and soul influence each other permanently The Law
of Peace will also give attention to the physical aspect. Swami
Ji’s grew up in an environment of spirituality and developed
already in his youth great interest in the physical aspects of a
Peace process. He became expert in exercises and techniques,
like Mudras (gestures) and breathing techniques, which support
the change of energy in the body as well as in the mind.
The Law of peace gives you the possibility to reconnect with
the eternal source of Peace inside yourself. This unique training
course helps you to create a great inner strength, which you can
use for yourself and your life but also for the support and the
Peace of others.
Level I
“Recognizing the inner source of Peace and the new Peace
frequencies“
This seminar of two days helps beginners and those who are
already experienced in working with Peace energies to connect
with their own inner source of Peace and the new Peace
frequencies. Swami Ji will gently introduce the participants to
the energy and help them to connect with it. As soon as this
connection is made, Peace takes place. Pundit Sharma Ji will
help you to recognize and to change old, negative patterns of
thinking and thus heal your mind from self-creates problems.
Pundit Sharma Ji, expert in yogic exercises, teaches among
others Mudras (gestures) and breathing exercises which softly
support the change of energy in the body.
Level II
“Approach and dissolving of energy blockages with the new
Peace frequencies“
How can I target the energy of the source in me to resolve
blockages? At the second weekend the participants will get to
know ways and tools to concentrate the active Peace energy
inside them and to direct it to body parts which are in pain. In
these body parts there are blockages in which the energy is very
dense. The blockages can be dissolved by the fine penetrating
energy that is sent there. In order to do this the participants will
go on a journey through their body, visit places where blockages
hinder the flow of energy and release the pure and powerful light
energy. Physical as well as psychic problems can be treated in
this way. The power from inside ourselves can be strengthened
with the help of Mantras which the participants will receive from
Swami Ji. Thus Peace processes on all levels are induced.
Level III
“Confirmation of Peace power and passing on to others“
Giving energy to others does not mean losing own energy. How
can I help others with the energy that I feel inside me? The
third level will give answers to this question and show methods
and ways to pass on the energy which was experienced and
strengthened in the previous levels. If it is energy transfer by
hands and touch, by breath or by mind power, the own energy
of life must not be used else the healer will need Peace himself
soon. The participants will receive support and guidance on how
responsible energy transfer can take place and how it helps the
person concerned without undermining own energy. In this way
Peace is possible for you and for those around.

Clean and Divine Sex?
Let’s start at the beginning - your
beginning . . .

You arrived into this incarnation via
your mother’s pelvis (even if you were a
c-section - that’s just the top of the pelvis).
Everything was beautiful and holy about
that event. When you were a 1-year old,
one day while toddling about the house,
your hand went down into your soiled
diaper. Momma saw, and immediately
ran over, pulled your hand out, and ran
to the bathroom with you. She shouted,
“No! That’s dirty! Nasty! Yucky”, and
she took you right to the sink to wash
your hands. About that time you thought,
“Hmm, Mom always cuddles me and
tells me that I have such cute little eyes
and fingers and toes, and such a pretty
little smile, but God must have made a
mistake at the bottom of me. He made
a dirty, nasty part.” Within a year, your
first one! - Pelvises and crotches went
from beautiful and holy to ugly, sinful and
disgusting.

Fast forward 10 years, and now you’re
learning that this area of you is dirty and
nasty for a whole new set of reasons. By
the time we hit puberty, we’ve gotten so
hysterical about our crotches that most of
us never recover.

By the senior years, according to doctors,
peoples’ “are plumbing” just gives out.
Prostate problems, uterine problems,
low intestinal issues, orifice prolepses,
leaky faucets, “Depends” underwear. . .
Medical doctors will tell you that the area
just isn’t engineered to last that long. I
contend to you that the area is engineered
just fine; it’s the lifelong hysteria that has
deteriorated your crotch. What do you
think?
Before we get into the programs, let’s
examine how a woman responds sexually.
This will give you a greater understanding
of how my special herbal formulas work to
rebuild and enhance a woman’s sexuality
at her deepest body levels.
The power of love is the greatest gift of
our lives -- the supreme extension of us
to one another. Love and lovemaking are
arguably the most potent expression of
human existence. Sexual intimacy with
a loving partner brings nurturing and
healing energy into our lives. It restores
us physically, emotionally and spiritually.
Does aging mean decreased sexuality?
No! In fact, it may mean just the
opposite, especially for women. Maturity
brings experience and relaxation into
sexuality. After menopause, most women
feel far more spontaneous and much
more connected to a loving partner.
Psychological factors may govern our
rate of sexual activity but once a woman’s
libido is awakened, it responds until she
dies.
But great sex depends on good health.
Most of a woman’s barriers to having
great sex are physical -- stemming from
an unhealthy lifestyle, poor nutrition,
stress and burnout, or the side effects of
prescription drugs. Even if her sexual
challenges stem from emotional issues,
good nutrition and healing herbs can make
a tremendous positive impact.
Women are highly sexual, but their
sexuality is fundamentally different than
a man’s. A man is generally turned on by
something that arouses him visually, but a
woman turns on mentally and emotionally
first. After that, physical changes follow.
Blood rushes to her genitals, making them
hot and more sensitive to the touch. Blood
surges and pools around her nipples and
ear lobes. Tiny blood vessels near the
surface of her skin dilate and cause a
“sexual flush,” which increases sensitivity
to caresses. As she becomes aroused, her
vaginal lining provides lush irrigation to
make intercourse more pleasurable.
What is sexual chemistry? How does it
work for women?
Sexual chemistry is for real! For women,
the entire sexual process begins in her
brain, often described as a woman’s
largest sexual organ.
The hypothalamus gland, deep in the
brain, acts as a switchboard -- managing
her incoming sensory perceptions of sight,
smell, and touch. Hormones are released
by her glands in response to those senses.
The nervous system sends blood to her
pelvic area, causing tissues to become
warmer and more sensitive. The adrenals
release adrenaline; her heart beats faster.
As her pulse races, she breathes deeper
to take in more oxygen. Her sexual fluids
begin to secrete. The brain responds by
releasing endorphins and she feels even
more pleasure. All of a woman’s senses
are players in the lovemaking game. And
it can all happen in an instant!
Although the entire experience of making
love is pleasurable, the climax of the
sexual experience is orgasm -- a state of
intense pleasure. Women say they feel
golden during an orgasm. Physically, a
woman’s orgasm is an amazing event

Karma 57
for a woman. Her muscles contract rhythmically around and in
her vagina and uterus. Her heart rate quickens; her breathing
deepens. If you’re a woman who’s out of shape, here is another
reason to tone up: The orgasmic experience can be even more
intense if you have good muscle tone and circulation!
The final phase of a woman’s sexual response is a dreamy state
of relaxation that allows her to cool down. She might feel drowsy
and drift off in a relaxed sleep. But some women are energized
and feel they could conquer the world after good sex. Sometimes
women even continue to make love after this short relaxation
phase.
Learning about Sex from Celibate Mystics
Meanwhile, somewhere in the woods in India, there is a swami
meditating. He’s naked, and very comfortable with everything
in his body - pelvis included. He knows all about his sexual
energy, but here’s the catch. He’s a tantra swami - 90 years old,
and he’s a virgin. He understands his crotch AND his sexuality,
but he has no understanding about libido. This is a very difficult
concept for most people, which is precisely why most people are
sick and disempowered.

And this swami is powerful - physically, mentally, emotionally,
spiritually, intellectually - every way! He is psychic and
mystical. His root chakra is open and processing power upwards.
For us to be truly empowered to make all of our dreams hopes
and aspirations come true, we must understand what the swami
knows. This is what is at the root (pun intended) of the healing
power of sexual energy.

The swami has mastered the power in his sexual energy through
celibacy. Fortunately (perhaps) for you, celibacy is not necessary.
However, if you are controlled by your appetites and desires,
there is no need to bother with any of this business - chakras,
auras, root chakras, mysticism - it’s all a bunch of nonsense if you
are out of control or acting out or all stopped up or dysfunctional.
Transcending or Running in Fear?
Most people are intimidated by their own energy - add sexuality
to the mix, and the intimidation goes up hyperbolically. Sexual
deviance, fetishism and the like are all just a result of this hysteria
routing the energy into unnatural directions. That tantra swami
we just read about has found peace and mastered the power in
his sexual energy by transcending his libido. This brings to mind
things like child-molesting priests - why didn’t it work for them?
The answer is simple, because they never transcended in the
first place. Rather, they ran in fear from their sexual energy -
avoiding it rather than bravely moving through it. Avoidance is
not transcendence.
So a sweet and spiritual young man who is traumatized by his
own sexuality decides to deal with it by running from it - running
into the arms of the seminary. As a young priest, he begins to
think he has solved his problem in shelter of God and his faith, but
he is still running - until finally it catches him, and thinking that
he has transcended, he has no way of dealing with it, so it takes
him over, and leads him to depravity. It is a sad story of a good
person who traps himself into becoming an evil person.

O n
lesser
levels, there are all sorts of kinks and oddities out there - before
being too sanctimonious, condescending and/or judgmental,
take a look at you. What are you running from? What are you
running towards?
Sexual Appetite
The language of sexual energy is not a lot different that the
language of digestion. We can have a large appetite or a small
one. We enjoy partaking of some things more than others. Some
people eat voraciously, some peck like birds. Some folks like
spicy, others prefer bland. On the other side of digestion, some
people tend towards constipation and others towards diarrhea.
We know we are healthy when we are balanced - not too much
one way or the other.

Some people are sexually “shut down”. They are intimidated
by the whole concept, and think of it as something dirty or bad.
They act as though the rest of them may have been made by God,
but all sexual thought is the devil’s work. Any enjoyment, which
is rare and stifled, must be repented for later. This is sexual
constipation. Other people brag about their sex lives. Maybe
you’ve had a friend or acquaintance like that. “Me and my little
honey have sex every day, and twice on weekends and holidays”.
That’s not healthy, that’s diarrhea. If they were getting nutrition
from their sexuality, and not just crapping it right out of them,
they wouldn’t be hungry all the time.

As mentioned, you do not need to be celibate to connect to the
life-transforming power of sexual energy - but you do need to be
balanced; neither shut down nor acting out. Once you achieve
this balance, then you’ll be able open the root and second chakras.
So if you think, “There’s nothing wrong with my sexual energy,
I’m completely functional” . . . well maybe so or maybe not.

Karma 58
If you want to find out how someone feels about themselves, you
could ask them how they feel about food. If you knew them well
enough, you would get a lot clearer picture by asking them how
they feel about their genitalia.
The Healing Power of Sexual Energy
Most of us are in a state of hysteria about our sexuality and our
pelvises. We are intimidated by everything about them. In my
years of working, learning, teaching, and devoting my life to
my work - this is the only area (literally and figuratively) that
has ever brought about anger, cynicism, fear, threats of physical
violence, aspersions about my character and intention - you get
the idea. (All of these are first chakra pathologies) You cannot be
kind to a mean person; you can’t be generous to a stingy person,
and you cannot be straightforward to a cynic. The murderer
thinks that everyone is out to kill him; the thief lives in a world
of robbers. A pickpocket can look at a saint, and all he will see
is his pockets. Your every action is tainted by the perspective of
the person towards whom you make it. If someone needs you
to be evil badly enough, they will make it their reality - just ask
the man who killed Gandhi, or Martin Luther King, or Abraham
Lincoln or the people who killed Jesus . . .

So many people have aggressively unhealthy issues regarding
their sexual energy - the only reason we don’t see it is because
the subject is so taboo. This, of course, causes these issues to
fester.

Even though the “sexual energy” aspect of my work is a very
small portion of it, in the minds of people who have these deep-
set issues - that is all I am. The mere mention of my views brings
out all sorts of things in people, so I present the following to you
with some caution. On the other hand, the people who figure it
out unlock all of their personal power. They begin to get happy,
relate to people differently, actors get the role, salespeople get the
sale, lonely people find connection - people change their body
health, size and shape - you name it - it all happens by releasing
the clenched up energy of the root chakra, which has a sexual
energy component. Empower yourself!
Sex and the First and Second Chakras
Sexuality is largely a first chakra thing - it is a primal drive, not
much different in concept from the need for air, food, shelter and
so on. Some folks will say, “Oh! The second (pelvic) chakra is
the sex chakra.” This is only partially true, and is an indication
that the person saying it doesn’t know what they are talking
about! The second chakra is the chakra of tactile feelings. It is
the chakra of healthy relationships with healthy, available people
- all close relationships; friends, close family, etc. If you are
healthy and capable of healthy relationships, one of them will be
with a romantic partner, and that is the second chakra aspect of
sexuality.

[NOTE: Please remember not to over classify - all of this
chakra business is very iterative. The desire to categorize and
compartmentalize is counter-productive to the goal of perfect
health, which is to unify and blur the distinctions.]

The second chakra does have plenty to do with feeling good
- in the tactile sense. The second chakra is the chakra of the
emotional body, and of pleasurable sensation; the enjoyment of
a fine meal, the feel of a breeze across your face, the feel of the
morning dew on your bare feet - things like that. As your first
and second chakra open, your capacity to feel good increases,
and you feel better - all of the time. So if the root chakra has to
do with how unpleasant the itch is, the second chakra is about
how good the scratch feels.

A lot of what is tied into our sexual identity is ego; more
specifically a distorted ego - a distorted sense of one’s own
importance. This is a first-and-second chakra issue, too. It is
bound up in anger, fear and cynicism, topped by the inability to
see people as they are, without assigning some sort of sinister
intention towards them, and then by attracting flawed people who
will “confirm” your distorted picture. People who are damaged
in this way have a disproportional opinion of what they would
call their “desirability”. To put it more plainly, they think that
everybody is hot for them - that they are “all that”.

But it’s even worse than that. Add to this the marketed view of
what beauty is - what is sold on billboards, in girly magazines
for men (i.e, porn), girly magazines for women (ie fashion
magazines) - and people are led to believe that this is what people,
society, God, etc. values you for. Why be a good person? - Just
be pretty - objectify yourself, then hate everyone for treating you
like an object.

This is a sad indictment not only upon the individual, but upon
our society as a whole. On a personal note, nothing could be
more obnoxious and off-putting than this “I’m-so-hot--I’ve-got-
it-and-everybody-wants-it” mentality. It’s pitiful and pathetic,
and there is nothing at all appealing about being pathetic - unless
you are attracting equally pathetic and pathological creatures into
your life. Please don’t be this person.

Don’t get me wrong. It is very healthy to want to look nice - to
be handsome or pretty or whatever. But this is not what makes
you good or bad. Be balanced. Be healthy Is having good sex a
beauty secret for women?
Sex as a beauty secret is a tale that’s been around for centuries...
maybe it was even first circulated by men! But in a way, it’s true.
Increased circulation to the skin during sex gives a woman’s
whole body a rosy glow. The glandular fluid secretion during
orgasm may help rebalance her hormone levels. And there’s no
question that sex is a wonderful aerobic exercise for the heart!
But, all of these factors depend on the state of a woman’s health.
The entire sexual experience is orchestrated by sophisticated
conversations that take place between her brain, senses, nerves,
glands, blood vessels and sexual organs. Imagine the positive
impact vibrant health could have on this process!

an Introduction by Swamiji Sri Selvam Siddhar
A mahamantra is a sound, syllable, word, or group of words that
is considered capable of “creating transformation”. Its use and
type varies according to the school and philosophy associated
with the mantra. Mahamantras originated in the Vedic tradition
of India, later becoming an essential part of the Hindu tradition
and a customary practice within Buddhism, Sikhism, and
Jainism. The use of mahamantras is now widespread throughout
various spiritual movements which are based on or off-shoots
of, the practices in the earlier Eastern traditions and religions.
The Aum syllable is considered a mahamantra in its own right
in Vedanta mysticism.
In the context of the Vedas, the term mahamantra refers to
the entire portion which contains the texts called Rig, Yaju,
Sama and/or Atharvana, that is, the metrical part as opposed
to the prose Brahmana commentary. With the transition from
ritualistic Vedic traditions to mystical and egalitarian Hindu
schools of Yoga, Vedanta, Thantra and Bhakti, the orthodox
attitude of the elite nature of mantra knowledge gave way to
spiritual interpretations of mantras as a translation of the human
will or desire into a form of action.
For the authors of the Hindu scriptures of the Upanishads, the
syllable Aum, itself constituting a mantra, represents Brahman,
the godhead, as well as the whole of creation. These sounds
are manifestations of ultimate reality, in the sense of sound
symbolism postulating that the vocal sounds of the mantra
have inherent meaning independent of the understanding of the
person uttering them.
Nevertheless, such understanding of what a mahamantra
may symbolize or how it may function differs throughout the
various traditions and also depends on the context in which
it is written or sounded. In some instances there are multiple
layers of symbolism associated with each sound, many of which
are specific to particular schools of thought. For an example
of such see the syllable: Aum which is central to both Hindu
and Buddhist traditions. However, written mantra-repetition
in Hindu practices, with Sanskrit in any number of scripts, is
well-known to many sects in India as well. Mahamantras, the
Sanskrit syllables inscribed on yantras, are essentially ‘thought
forms’ representing divinities or cosmic powers, which exert
their influence by means of sound-vibrations. The Sanskrit word
mahamantra consists of the root man- “to think” (also in manas
“mind”) and the suffix -tra, designating tools or instruments,
hence a literal translation would be “instrument of thought.”
The Sanskrit grammar defines mantra as “mananath thrayate ithi
mantraha,” which means if anyone thinks of the mantra, it saves
the person.
Manthras are inherently “true” (aša), and the proper recitation
of them brings about (realizes) what is inherently true in them.
It may then be said that mantras are both an expression of being
and “right working” and the recitation of them is crucial to the
maintenance of order and being.

The most basic mahamantra is Aum, which in Hinduism is
known as the “pranava mantra,” the source of all mahamantras.
The Hindu philosophy behind this is the idea of nama-rupa
(name-form), which supposes that all things, ideas or entities
in existence, within the phenomenological cosmos, have name
and form of some sort. The most basic name and form is the
primordial vibration of Aum, as it is the first manifested nama-
rupa of Brahman, the unmanifest reality/unreality. Essentially,
before existence and beyond existence is only One reality,
Brahma, and the first manifestation of Brahma in existence
is Aum. For this reason, Aum is considered to be the most
fundamental and powerful mahamantra, and thus is prefixed and
suffixed to all Hindu prayers. While some mantras may invoke
individual Gods or principles, the most fundamental mantras,
like ‘Aum,’ the ‘Shanti Mantra,’ the ‘Gayatri Mantra’ and others
all ultimately focus on the One reality.
In the Hindu Thantra the universe is sound. The supreme (para)
brings forth existence through the Word (Shabda). Creation
consists of vibrations at various frequencies and amplitudes
giving rise to the phenomena of the world. The purest vibrations
are the var.na, the imperishable letters which are revealed to us,
imperfectly as the audible sounds and visible forms.

Varnas are the atoms of sound. A complex symbolic association
was built up between letters and the elements, gods, signs of
the zodiac, parts of the body – letters became rich in these
associations. For example in the Aitrareya-aranya-Upanishad
we find that the mute consonants represent the earth, the sibilants
the sky, the vowels heaven. The mute consonants represent fire,
the sibilants air and the vowels the sun. The mute consonants
represent the eye, the sibilants the ear, the vowels the mind. In
effect, each letter became a mahamantra and the language of
the Vedas, Sanskrit, corresponds profoundly to the nature of
things. Thus the Vedas come to represent reality itself. The seed
syllable Aum represents the underlying unity of reality, which
is Brahman.
There are several forms of Mahamantra as follows:
Bhajan: spiritual songs.
Kirtan: repetition of God’s name in songs.
Prayer: a way of communing with God.
Guru mahamantra: the first initiation (Diksha) given by the
master to the disciple.
Bija mahamantra: a bija mahamantra represents the essence of a
mahamantra (e.g. Om).

The chanting of Mahamantra is called as Mahamantra Japa.
Mahamantra japa was a concept of the Vedic sages that
incorporates mahamantras as one of the main forms of puja,
or worship, whose ultimate end is seen as moksha/liberation.
Essentially, mahamantra japa means repetition of mahamantra
and it has become an established practice of all Hindu streams,
from the various Yoga to Thantra. It involves repetition of a
mantra over and over again, usually in cycles of auspicious
numbers (in multiples of three), the most popular being 108.
For this reason, Hindu malas (bead necklaces) developed,
containing 108 beads and a head bead (sometimes referred to as
the ‘meru’, or ‘guru’ bead). The devotee performing japa using
his/her fingers counts each bead as he/she repeats the chosen
mahamantra. Having reached 108 repetitions, if he/she wishes
to continue another cycle of mahamantras, the devotee must turn
the mala around without crossing the head bead and repeat. To
attain single-pointedness of mind, repetition of mahamantra’s
can be done in the following ways:

Mahamantra Yoga (chanting), Japa Yoga: Vaikhari Japa
(speaking), Upamsu Japa (whispering or humming) Manasika
Japa (mental repetition), and Likhita Japa (writing).
It is said that through japa the devotee attains one-pointedness,
or extreme focus, on the chosen deity or principal idea of the
mahamantra. The vibrations and sounds of the mahamantra are
considered extremely important, and thus reverberations of the
sound are supposed to awaken the Kundalini or spiritual life force
and even stimulate chakras according to many Hindu schools
of thought. Any shloka from holy Hindu texts like the Vedas,
Upanishads, Bhagavad Gita, Yoga Sutra, even the Mahabharata,
Ramayana, Durga saptashati or Chandi are considered powerful
enough to be repeated to great effect, and have therefore the
status of mahamantra. The use of Mahamantras is described in
various texts which constitute Mantra Shastra (shastra, sastra:
law-book, rule or treatise). Some of the major books which are
used as reference for Mahamantra Shastra are Parasurama Kalpa
Sutra, Sharada Tilakam, Lakshmi Thantra, and Prapanchasara.
It is very hard to select the mantra by an individual. One mantra,
which is considered as the best one for one person may not
be so useful for the other one. So, before selecting a mantra,
the horoscope is to be checked by a Guru, who is well versed
in Atharva Veda and Atharva Vedic Astrology. Only after
analyzing the planetary positions of an individual the mantra
and the methods of chanting the mantra are to be decided.

Mass = Energy
Seven thousand years ago, sages and
wise people understood that there is no
difference between mass and energy.
However, by the time of Christ, this was
essentially regarded as witchcraft. In
the 19th century, you would have been
written off as a nut for saying that mass
and energy were the same thing.
Then this fellow named Einstein came
along . . . and proved it. It shook the very
foundations of our understanding of the
universe. Einstein effectively validated,
updated, and explained most of the loose
ends left by another great genius, Isaac
Newton, who laid out the laws of the
universe in the 16th century like no one
had done before him. Einstein, by the
way, was a poor to average student who
didn’t make good grades because he
questioned everything.
Energy always moves mass. Ask anyone
who has ever seen a bomb go off. Watch
video of a tornado. When the energy cuts
loose, moving the mass is easy. Einstein’s
dilemma was harnessing this energy so
that it could be used not just to blow stuff
up, but to create some order out of chaos.
This introduces the topic of the second law
of thermodynamics, which is concerned
with a concept called “entropy”. Entropy
means that together things fall apart, but
apart things don’t fall together. Imagine
dropping a glass. You get hundreds of
broken pieces. But if you drop hundreds
of broken pieces, you’ll never get a glass.
So now we know that mass = energy. So
what’s the problem? Einstein died at a
point where the destructive uses of his
work outweighed the positive uses. This
is because even given a brand new way of
looking at things, people viewed them with
the same old eyes. Old habits die hard.
The medical profession is largely based on
Cartesian (that is, from Rene Descartes’
philosophies, mentioned above) physics,
and you still get Cartesian answers to the
problem. If this were the case in other
walks of life, we’d still be reading by
candle light. Even though modern medical
instrumentation (i.e. MRI, PET) is based
upon Einstein physics, the conclusions
drawn are placed into a Cartesian model.
The work that we will do connects to the
energy that Einstein “discovered” and that
the ancients, the Ayurvedic doctors, and
the Chinese doctors understood but could
not master. As wise as he was, Einstein
left an important variable out of the
equation; consciousness - when we figure
out how consciousness fits in, we may just
understand everything!
So the more we go forward, the more
we go back. Some would have you
believe that the work I do is a 7000 year
throwback. I believe that the information
above shows this work to be ahead of its
time, not behind it. But really, none of
that is important. What’s important is that
if you are sick, I can help you find your
pathway to health. If you are healthy, I
can make help you become healthier.
Most of Matter Doesn’t Matter
In Physics 101, they tell you that if you
could take all of the empty space out of
the Statue of Liberty, it would fit into a
teaspoon. What’s the rest? Nothing!

So what are you and I made of? Nothing,
of course. If you took all of the empty
space out of you and me, we’d both fit into
a teaspoon - along with a few thousand
of our closest friends. You can think of
yourself as being composed of about
0.00000001% (it’s actually MUCH less
than that!) something and 99.99999999%
nothing. The something is partly beyond
our control. So how we look, how we
act, how we think and how we feel is a
function of what we do with . . . nothing.
To Get What You Want from the Mystic
. . . You’ve got to give the mystic what he
wants

Mysticism is not what you think it is, but
mystics are truly powerful people. While
there are few mystics, you can pass by
them every day and not know that you’ve
done so. Therefore be very careful about
being rude to someone who gives you a
kind greeting. (You should be kind to
all people anyway! If you aren’t, what’s
wrong with you?!) You hear of witches,
wizards, sorcerers . . . In Spanish, the
word for mystic is “brujo” or “bruja”.
It’s the same word for “witch” although
brujos in this context are not witches. In
India, a couple of the many words are
“rishi” and “siddha”. Other cultures have
their words, too. It’s all the same.

If you have found a cool mystic in your
life - congratulations! Most people don’t
get one! But treat that opportunity with
respect and reverence, because you won’t
get a second opportunity. Here are the
basic rules for getting what you want from
the brujo: Always, always, always keep
the brujo happy with you. Never, never,
never ever get the brujo mad at you.
If you feel you absolutely MUST do
something to make the brujo mad at you,
see rule #’s 1 & 2.
To get what you want from the brujo, you
must give the brujo what he wants. You
aren’t absolutely obligated to give the

Karma 64
brujo whatever he wants, but if you don’t, you aren’t going to get
whatever you want.
Listen to what the brujo says, and do what he tells you. If you
are wise, show a little enthusiasm about it. Don’t whine. The
brujo likes enthusiasm.
You will have a much better chance to get what you want from
the brujo if the brujo likes you. You cannot get anything from
the brujo if he doesn’t like you, but you can do things that make
him like you. It’s your responsibility to keep the bujo interested
in you. Do everything you can to cause the brujo to like you, and
avoid doing things that will cause him to dislike you, get mad at
you or lose interest.
You cannot make the brujo do anything he doesn’t want to do, so
you need to influence what he wants to do in your favor. To do
that, see rule #’s 1 - 6. Don’t hang out with dark brujos, because
they are going to want dark things that you don’t want to give to
them, and they are going to get mad at you and dislike you.
Do not mess with brujos - dark ones, light ones, whatever. Do
not give them “attitude”. Do not insult them. Never talk about
them behind their back.
If ever the brujo offers you kindness - does work on your behalf at
your request - spends effort, time, resources to help you - things
like that - always show kindness and gratitude. Kind acts which
are met with suspicion, grief, cynicism, disrespect, mistrust, etc.
will get the brujo very, very mad at you, and he will not like you
(see rules # 2 & 7) Many are called, but few are chosen. That’s
why there are so few brujos. They may look wimpy, but they are
powerful. They may look normal, but they are not. If by chance
you have already broken one or more of these rules, go find the
brujo - humble yourself; apologize. Bring a gift. Find out what
you can do (you will have to do something, I’m sure) to atone.

The dreams of the upright are made manifest to them . . .

Some people are surprised when I tell them that they have to
give the brujo what he wants, but there’s really nothing unusual
about it. Better things happen to people who can be pleasantly
compliant. Agreeable people are generally happy - and happy
people are agreeable. In your career, to get what you want from
your boss (ie raises, promotions) you have to give the boss what
(s)he wants. To get good grades in school, you have to complete
your assignments in the manner that the professor wants them
done. To have harmony with your partner, you must be easy to
get along with. These are simple rules of life. Here’s another
way to look at it - what if someone was rude and inconsiderate to
you, and then started asking you for favors?

Athletes in training must trust the fact that their coach knows
more about how to get them in shape than they know themselves.
They must do what the coach says without questioning or
challenging. Apprentices must trust their mentors. People
who go to a church should listen to the advice of their pastor -
if they cannot, they are in the wrong church! When you go to
a medical doctor, you listen to his/her diagnosis and directions,
and subordinate your own ideas to theirs. If you are looking for
a brujo, you are looking for a coach or a guru of sorts - at least to
a small extent. Conduct yourself accordingly.
. . . but the fears of the unjust come to pass

Here’s another way to look at it. The reason you take a class in
school, or go to a doctor, or become an apprentice, find a yoga
teacher . . . whatever . . . is because you need some help and
advice. Otherwise, you’d just do it yourself! So when you go to
one of these resources, it stands to reason that you will be asked
to do something different or new; that might seem weird to you -
otherwise you’d have done it already.

The best thing you can do for yourself is to move on past old belief
systems, break through old boundaries and move forward. To do
that, sometimes you have to think differently - move outside of
yourself, listen to what someone else says, and do what they tell
you. If not, you just end up doing the same tired old thing - again
and again - and getting the same tired old result - again and again.

Yet history tells us that people do not revere prophets, saints
and saviors. They have contempt for them more often than
not - and often kill them, in fact. (Jesus, Martin Luther King,
Gandhi, Bobby Kennedy, John Kennedy, John Lennon - the list
is endless . . .) We shoot messengers; kill the geese that lay the
golden eggs; burn witches at the stake. Sad to say, this is what
the majority of people do, and they are miserable, pathetic beings
with crappy little mediocre lives filled with sickness, fear and
misery. I’m calling you out! The path to your health, growth and
self improvement requires that you be the exception.

Often I see people being rude or off-putting to people who would
otherwise be benevolent towards them. Isn’t that stupid? When
someone you pass on the sidewalk gives you a polite “hello”, do
you see that as a kindness offered, or do you turn away in anger,
suspicion or cynicism? Your answer to that question speaks
volumes about you, and to whether you can expect to meet your
best dreams or your worst fears.
What does mysticism have to do with modern science?

By now you are thinking, how did you get from Einstein to
magic? If we are mostly nothing, as Einstein says, then the
nothing can be managed and manipulated. That’s sort of what
we do with radio waves and cell phone signals. Looking at it
another way, if there is no difference between mass and energy,
mysticism has to do with the management of the very real but
invisible energy component

Today’s science is yesterday’s mysticism, and what we consider
mystical today, will be ho-hum high school science in a few
generations. If I would have told you 150 years ago that there
was no difference between mass and energy, I would have been
burned at the stake in the town square for witchcraft - but Einstein
proved it in the early 20th Century.

It wasn’t until LATE in the 20th Century that science had an
inkling about the physiological basis for emotion. Scientists

Karma 65
were looking at what it is in our brain that gives us thought,
logic, intellect, reason, recall - all of those things that we’ve
always thought were brain things. As they began to isolate the
components - the legends, effectors proteins and receptors, the
neuropathies and all of the wires, synapses, switches and gizmos
that bring these things about - they found out something that
astounded them. Theses things are not isolated in the brain, or in
the central nervous system. They populate and permeate every
cell of our body.

Your toenails are very smart
This means that your toenails think - your muscles have reason,
your bones have recall, your organs have intellect - everything
has everything! There is no difference between anything and
anything. Thick mass is the same as invisible energy - and by
the way, thick mass isn’t thick - it’s a bunch of those little bags
of nothing vibrating about. Frequencies - flows - vibrations -
wavelengths - all in constant motion and all invisible are what
give mass its substance. Magic? Of course. But hard science,
too; hard science only as of the past 30 years or so. Old mystics
knew this stuff 8,000 years ago!

I talk a lot about the old yogis - the wise mystics and seers were
referred to as “rishis”. I use them for my example, but they are
not the only ones. All over the world, every culture had their
wizards: Celtic mystics, African mystics, Chinese mystics,
Native American mystics - you name it. They were all saying
and and seeing and doing just about the same thing in a time
when there was no communication between them.

If these guys were so smart, why was the world so unhealthy?
Why was life expectancy so short? Because they were a small
minority of misfits even then. Hardly anybody listened to them.
People didn’t listen, and they did things to get the mystics mad at
them. Hmmm. Some things do not change over time.

Millennia ago, you could expect to die from trauma or
bacteriological infection. These are the two things that western
medicine are best at! Western medicine shines at emergency
medicine, which doesn’t require people to adapt a healthy
lifestyle. In fact, it allows you to “get away with” a more
unhealthy lifestyle, as it gives you pills to correct some of the
harm you do to yourself. Unfortunately, there are not enough
pills to undo the harm that the pills do to you.
Many are called . . .
In almost every old tale where people go to witches or mystics
or sages, there is always the part where the witch says, “Before
I give you what you want, you must . . .” (My favorite example
is in Monty Python’s Holy Grail, where they say, “Bring us a
shrubbery!”) But it is a constant theme in every fairy tale and
legend. There’s a reason for that. Most people say things like
“I’ve tried thousands of things, and nothing has worked”. In fact,
they have not. They have tried ONE thing thousands of times.
Duh.

Back in the olden days, it worked like this:
Out of all the people, only a few became seekers
Out of all the seekers, only a few became “initiates”
Out of the initiates, only a few made it to the higher initiations
And out of those, a few were “chosen”
It’s an obstacle course; it’s supposed to be. It’s designed to weed
out the faint of heart. (Read Jesus’ parable of the sower and the
seed [Matthew 13:1-23]).
So it may happen that your brujo isn’t just your brujo, but is
also your guru - either literally or at some much more informal
level. If you want the mystic to impart information to you; if
you want something that he’s got, want to know something that
he knows, etc., then you sign on as an apprentice or disciple
of sorts, whether you realize it or not. Listen to what the guru
says and do what he tells you! Do a favor every now and then.
Always trust him; the guru is insulted by mistrust, and will “shut
you down” immediately. Indulge him. Even if it doesn’t seem
related to the subject matter at all. (Remember Mr. Miyagi from
“The Karate Kid”? “Wax the car.” “Paint the fence”.) Stop
being so self-absorbed! It’s myopic. The way to get what you
want from the brujo is to give the brujo what he wants, and he
wants you to listen to what he says and do what he tells you. I
cannot make this any clearer, yet many - even many “spiritually
advanced” seekers won’t “get it”. They will selectively listen to
the parts they want to hear - ONLY - and ironically, those are the
things they don’t need the guru for in the first place. This could
very well describe YOU!! Remember - many are called . . .

The initiates into “ancient mystery spiritual practices” are the
models of what modern religions - as dilute and vapid as they
are - practice today. See if this doesn’t sound a little bit like what
went on in your stodgy old establishment church growing up:
The faithful, who had somehow proven some level of faithfulness
were first brought into the “lower” grades of initiation. The
purpose of those were to convey to the seeker information about
the nature of the higher worlds and higher callings. Those who
made it though moved up to the next level. The purpose of the
higher degrees was to bring the seeker into direct contact with
the beings who inhabit higher worlds. Of those who were called,
few got there. Even fewer got the call in the first place. Many
(i.e. Some - but not all, or not even most) are called . . .

.
. . but few are chosen

Every apprentice needs a master craftsman. Every student
needs a teacher. What they get is not usually what they want
or visualize. Your brujo may become your guru at some level,
but your guru will not not at all be what you expected. Then
after your brujo becomes your guru, your guru may become
your angel. If you have a “condition”, from cosmetic to life
threatening - and if the conventional channels aren’t getting you
from where you are to where you want to be, you are going to
have to do something different. In order to do that, you may need
to find yourself a brujo.

You are probably thinking of the stereotypical person-with-the-
crystal-ball type person. These people are entertainers more
often than not. Expand your horizons. Above, I said that in order

Karma 66
to get what you want from the brujo, you need to give him what
he wants. Well if what he wants is for you to take a thousand
dollars and bury it in his back yard at midnight, he is probably
a phony. Just in case, don’t make him mad, just politely say
“thank you” and walk away.

Most real mystics aren’t like that at all. True “seeing” ability
requires goodness almost always. Selfish, greedy or otherwise
flawed people don’t have what it takes to develop their scientific
skills to understand the energetic field. But just like Darth Vader
had the force, there is a dark side to mysticism. The power to
heal and repair is also the power to injure or harm. Like hot and
cold, pleasure and pain - they are two sides of the same coin.
(That is just a part of why you want to pay attention to rule # 1
above.) When you start messing around with magical things,
the power is like electricity. It can give you light and warmth, or
it can shock and kill you. Handle it responsibly.

People love mystics, and more people hate them! Why do you
think they kill saints and prophets? Mystics get met with a lot
of misunderstanding, suspicion and contempt, and they have a
little attitude about it. (What if you did nice things for people,
and they gave you mistrust and contempt rather than thanks?)
People fear what they do not understand. If that describes you,
that very fear, anger, closed-mindedness, cynicism and hatred
will make you sick, and then it will kill you - just like the rest
of the many. But just maybe someone or something will call
you out.

To find the light place, you have to make it though the dark
place. When you find a good mystic, he will tell you things that
seem counterintuitive at first. He’ll perhaps immediately touch
the core of your pathology, which will make you uncomfortable,
defensive or infuriated. He’ll scare you! but he won’t hurt you.
He’ll enjoy your journey, but he will not gratify himself at your
expense. Your response to these things will reveal whether you
are one of the many or one of the few. Odds are, you are one of
the many - what do YOU think?

The Power to Heal is the Power to Harm!
Some people understand how to wield the unseen energetic
reality. Usually, by the time they have mastered this, they do not
care to be carnival acts and TV novelties. They have nothing to
prove and no one to impress. They lose their profit motive and
replace it with prophet motive! But they DO perhaps have some
“delicate sensitivities” - just like anyone else. People such as
these can be an invaluable resource to you, but just like all forms
of power, they can “burn” you, too. They may not turn you into
a frog, but those stories didn’t come from nowhere. So those
wacky people who talk about family curses, spells, a strand-
of-your-hair, talismans and all that are right - at least to some
extent. The brujo does not have to be physically near something
to affect it - he can do it from around the world! If a person is
capable of sending you “peace, love and positive energy” he/
she is also capable of sending you “turmoil, hate and negative
energy”. Why? Because theses pairs of opposites are just that;
opposite sides of the same coin - the same way that the electricity
in your house that runs all of your appliances can electrocute
you in moments - the same way that the same water that keeps
you alive will also drown you. In fact, it’s easier to break things
than it is to fix them. Destruction is easy - construction takes
work. The brujo knows that.
Most powerful mystics are evolved and very “light”. They are
conflict averse. You can be rude to them, and they will just
give you a dumb Gandhi-like smile. You might even think that
pushing them around is a good thing (some quasi-pseudo-new-
agey folks might call it stupid things like “taking your power
back”.) If that’s you, go ahead - enjoy. Your enjoyment will be
short-lived. I’ve seen terrible things happen to people - traffic
accidents, runs of bad luck, thefts and violent attacks, illnesses,
depressions, suicides - you name it.

Why would a “light” brujo do these things? Usually because
of the feeling that someone has taken his gifts of kindness and
defiled them with contempt, non-gratitude, or whatever. Oh! and
never let it get back to a brujo that you’ve been talking “stuff”
about him behind his back. Are you crazy?! And you wonder
why your life sucks? I’m amazed that things aren’t worse! But
they’ll get there. Anything that involves returning rudeness and
“negative energy” for a gift of “positive energy” is unevolved
and insulting by its very nature. The Brujo does not want to
know that he has wasted his time and energy casting pearls at
swine. As well, it’s not always the mystic - sometimes other
forces get involved. Most brujos have a posse, and sometimes
it’s the universal energy field itself. The people who harmed
great saints like Gandhi, Jesus, Lincoln, Martin Luther King,
etc. did not do very well. The “spell” was cast from beyond the
grave - so even killing a mystic will not save you from the harm
you can endure. If you’ve ever done anything rude, harmful,
and ungrateful or contempt-ful to a kind and powerful person,
go back; apologize - find that brujo and ask what it will take to
get off of his black list. It will probably be a lot! But do it!
But hang on - I’m starting to sound like “Dungeons and
Dragons”. To find the light place, you have to make it though
the dark place, so let’s say we’ve accomplished that, and end
our discussion on a positive note. Wise mystics seek seekers.
They are looking for people who can “get it”; to whom they can
be generous - and they know that they have to go through a few
oysters to find the pearls. People on a “spiritual path” (whatever
that is) tend to find a brujo, but even so, many are called, but
few are chosen, and if you are not chosen - it’s better not to have
been called. We’ll let this be vague for now, but if you find a
wise mystic with whom to consult from time to time, you are
fortunate indeed. If you seek the generosity of powerful people,
you want to conduct yourself with a genuine, humble, grateful
kindness of your own.

Kindness is the greatest wisdom. Be kind. Treat all people
kindly at all times. If you follow this simple rule, you’ll have a
wonderful life! And if you find a brujo, respect him. Listen to
what he says and do what he tells you - then offer him gratitude.

Letters to Swamiji
1. Santosh Shivni- Chicago, IL
Dear Swamiji, I had the rare chance of meeting you at my
place. You gave me a copy of the magazine Karma. Thanks and
Namaskars for bringing out a great metaphysical magazine to
enlighten the community. Please add me in your temple’s regular
mailing list. I pledge to pay a donation of US$ 101.00 every
month for the magazine.
2. Kumari Khanna – Phoenix, AZ
We had many troubles in our business. As per the directions of
one of your devotees from our place we requested you to give
us a spiritual salvation from the problems. You scrutinized our
horoscopes and performed some rituals based on the Atharva
Veda. By the power of you and your Atharva Vedic Thantric
Rituals, we are developing now. Our lives are dedicated to you
Swamiji.

5. Sudha Krishnamurthy – East sound, WA
I am a regular reader of Karma. After reading the magazine, I
am able to understand what Astrology is and how to solve the
problems. I can even challenge any Astrologers in the world.
Thanks and namaskars to Swamiji Siddhar for the wonderful
article “Vedic Astrology”.
6. Girija Koirala, Greenwich, CT
I have a son of seven years old. All of a sudden, he became very
dull in his studies. After reading the magazine Karma, I called
Swamiji Siddhar, thinking that he is also just like the so called
astrologers. After talking to him only I realized that he is a great
scholar and Siddha Purusha. I humbly beg Swamiji to apologize
me for my wrong thoughts. As an Expert in Atharva Veda and
as a Siddhar, he performed Thantric rituals for the betterment of
my son. Now he is doing very well in his studies. Thanks and
pranams to Swamiji for making my son well. Thanks for bringing
out such a wonderful magazine also.
7. Chandra Rani Chandrasekar, Beavercreek, OH
I got married five years back. We had no kids. After reading the
magazine Karma, we visited Hindu Temple of Ohio and we had
the rare opportunity of meeting Swamiji Siddhar. On seeing our
worried faces he asked what kind of problems we have. We told
him all our problems and requested Swamiji Sri Siddhar to solve
the problems. He found that due to some black magic we were
unable to get good kids. He performed the best Atharva Veda
Thantric rituals and blessed us. Now I am pregnant. Thanks to
Swamiji for blessing us.
8. Razak Abdullah - Diamond Bar, CA
Even though I am a Muslim, I love Hinduism. I used to read the
magazine Karma.
I had many blockages in success. Even though I work very
hard, I was not able to get the results. I consulted Swamiji Sri.
Selvam Siddhar through telephone to remove the blockages. He
performed some rituals and removed the blockages. Now I am
on my footsteps to success. Thanks to Swamiji for making my
life as successful.
9. Rathan Sinha - Endicott, NY
I was one of the best realtors in my city. All of a sudden, I was
driven to the worst situation of coming out of my business. I
approached Swamiji Siddhar to know the reasons and to stop
selling the houses. He analyzed my horoscope and found the
reasons for this. By his powers, I got many helps from un-
foreseen persons. By that the business is picking up well. I
pledge my lifetime for the service of Swamiji Sri Siddhar and his
magazine Karma.
10. Peter Chaudhry – Frostburg, MD
I am a converted Christian. I converted myself into Christianity,
as I had no opportunity to know about Hinduism and the rituals
of Hinduism. On my trip to Ohio, I went to the Hindu Temple of
Ohio just as a pleasure trip. There I had an opportunity to meet
Swamiji Siddhar. I was attracted by the lecture given by him. He
explained me about Hinduism. He advised me a lot and he told
me not to convert again from Christianity to Hinduism but to
follow a spiritual life. I am enlightened by his speech and advice.
I thank a lot to Swamiji for making me a spiritual man.
