3. PAST TENSE We use the past tense to talk about things that are finished. For example: The girl cleaned the room yesterday . Mr Brown shouted at the girl last night . We can use the simple past with time expressions that refer to the past. For example: yesterday fifty years ago last night/week.... in 1990

6. GRAMMAR: (+) sujeto+ verbo en pasado+ complemento: (+) The actors WON ( win ) an Oscar prize . Los actores ganaron un premio Oscar   (-) sujeto + did+not (didn´t) + verbo ( en presente )+ complement: (-) The actors didn´t WIN an Oscar prize. Los actores NO ganaron un premio Oscar   (?) DID+ sujeto + verbo ( en presente ) +complement+?: (?)Did the actors win an Oscar prize? ¿Ganaron los actores un premio Oscar? PL: Pregunta Lógica: Wh Qs + did+sujeto + verbo (en presente)+? : WHAT did the actors win ? ¿Qué ganaron los actores? Un premio Oscar   EXCEPTION: Who WON the prize : ¿Quienes ganaron el premio? La palabra interrogativa WHO (Quien/ Quienes) no utiliza el auxiliar DID por lo que el verbo se debe usar en pasado al hacer la pregunta.   NOTE: Cada vez que utilizo el auxiliar DID los verbos vuelven a su forma presente, ya que el auxiliar funciona como un marcador de tiempo y me indica que la oración ya está en pasado.
