AI-Powered Mentor–Mentee Matching:
• Student interests and alumni career data are collected from profiles
• Data is processed with NLP models (Hugging Face Transformers) to extract key skills and domains.
• Profiles are converted into vector embeddings (Sentence-BERT) for semantic understanding.
• Cosine similarity is applied to measure closeness between student and alumni profiles.
• A ranking model (scikit-learn) refines the results to recommend the most relevant mentors

scale to embeddings
Viability:
1. Strong data security via Firebase Auth + role-based access → builds institutional
trust.
2. Centralized data + AI-driven mentor matching can be extended beyond
one institution to multiple universities or even pan-India education boards.
