11. The SAT allows the total and immediate deduction of the installation of
photovoltaic solar panels.
In accordance with the content of Article 34, section XIII of the Income
Tax Law (ISR), "it is possible to deduct the total cost of the equipment
that helps in the generation of renewable energy.“
«For tax purposes, the deduction of investments made in machinery and
equipment for the generation of energy from renewable sources or
efficient electricity cogeneration systems, the maximum authorized
percentage is 100%, provided that the assets are in operation or
functioning for a minimum period of five years immediately following the
fiscal year in which the deduction is made (art. 34, fraction XIII, LISR)».
