4. Introduction A petrol pump is where you go to fill your car with fuel, like a gasoline or diesel. It's like giving your car the energy it needs to keep going. In other words Simple say that the pump is a machine that puts the fuel into your car's tank . If we talk about the world, the 10 highest petrol stations in 2018 are; China, Iran, India, Argentina, Brazil, Italy, Columbia, Thailand and Uzbekistan and Pakistan.

5. January 2018, China show off the highest count of fueling stations globally, with around about 8400 stations reported. Iran has 2400 Fuel Stations and India has 1424 Fuel Stations, Argentina has 2014 Fuel Stations, Brazil has 1805 Fuel Stations, Italy has 1805 Fuel Stations, Columbia has 813 Fuel Stations, Thailand has 502 Fuel Stations and Uzbekistan has 213 Fuel Stations .

6. If we talk about the Pakistan, in 2018, the number of refueling stations in Pakistan accounted for about 11.5% of the total global stations, totaling over 3416. If we talk about the year 2023, there will be 7,000 Fuel stations in Pakistan. In Pakistan, if we look at the Fuel stations according to the province, there are 4737 Fuel Stations in Punjab and 1126 Fuel stations in Sindh. Similarly, Baluchistan has 200 Fuel stations, KPK has 793 Fuel stations and Azad Kashmir has 102 Fuel Station.

7. Now let's talk about our topic that the Spatial Distribution of Petrol Pump in Punjab Divisions in Pakistan. Simply we can say that we have to see how many Fuel stations there are in Punjab Division. If we talk about Punjab, there are 4,737 fuel stations in Punjab. 11. Petrol Pump Stations in Punjab: There are 4,737 fuel stations in Punjab. If we talk about the division of Gujranwala, There are only 6 fuel Stations of Allied Company in Gujranwala division, 20 fuel Station of PSO, 40 fuel Station of Shell and 9 fuel Station of Go Company in Gujranwala. Similarly, Allied Company has 4 fuel stations, PSO has 20 fuel Station, Shell Company has 78 of fuel station, and Go has 8 Fuel Station in Rawalpindi. In 11 fuel Stations of Allied Company in Sargodha division, 13 fuel Station of PSO, 18 fuel Station of Shell and 3 fuel Station of Go Company in Sargodha.

12. In 2 fuel Stations of Allied Company in Lahore division, 18 fuel Station of PSO, 60 fuel Station of Shell and 19 fuel Station of Go Company in Lahore. 14. Study Area Absolute Location: Abbottabad district is located 31.1704° north latitudes, and 72.7097°east longitudes. Relative Location: Punjab is an eastern province of Pakistan, sharing borders with the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir to the northeast, Indian states of Punjab and Rajasthan to the east, Sindh province to the south, and Baluchistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces to the west. 18. In this research, we took data from Wikimapia, Google Earth, and Fuels Companies official websites, different tools and techniques used like GIS and MS Excel for map making. I downloaded the Pakistan Administrative Shape file from DIVA GIS. Utilize GIS (Geographic Information System) tools to map and analyze. I have collected the data of the petrol stations and I have seen how many petrol pumps are there in a division.

19. Data Processing and Analysis The Pakistan Administrative Areas Shapefile we downloaded have clipped by the Shapefile of Punjab Divisions. I create it from Google earth pro. By using Arcmap10.8 software we clipped Punjab Divisions from Pakistan Administrative Shapefile. Normally these downloaded Shapefile were in Pakistan province administrative file. I select the Punjab All Divisions and Clipping Tool from search engine. Then we have input Data. I also took petrol station data and Places points from Google earth .

The study aims to provide a clear picture of station distribution and spatial variations, explain the underlying reasons for this distribution for each station, and assess the spatial compatibility with planning standards and site requirements. The purpose of studying the spatial distribution of fuel stations is to understand and analyze how petrol stations are spread over a geographical area. I collected the data of division’s wise petrol pump stations from Punjab and I got information that there are more petrol pumps than PSO in Punjab Division.
