Spiral staircase

Iam following 2015 cbcs vtu syllabus. In this presentation, I have given design guidelines for drafing a spiral staircase and explaining the topic with an A1 drafted sheet.

1. SPIRAL STAIRS

2. Continuous stairs The stairs which do neither have any landing nor any intermediate newel post. TYPES Circular stairs Spiral stairs Helical stairs

3. SPIRAL STAIRS Usually made either of RCC or metal , and is employed at a location where there are space limitations. Also used as emergency stairs and are provided at the back side of building. All the steps are winders . Therefore the stair is not comfortable.
