INTRODUCTION The world of sport is continually changing over the years, and the use of technology is just one of those areas that has made an impact on many sports in the modern day. If a new technology is available, and shown to be accurate, then it should be used so that the correct decisions can be made. It is only fair to the players and teams that the right decisions are made.

Sports Photography Most sports involve fast movement like throwing a ball, running, or jumping. You want these photos to be sharp, not blurry. To do that, you’ll want to utilize fast shutter speeds. Telephoto lens of at least 300mm with a minimum aperture of at least f5.. A good wide angle is another useful addition to the gear bag to make the most of atmospheric and paddock opportunities.

HOTSPOT ULTRAEDGE TECHNOLOGY IN CRICKET T h e t e c h n o l o g y microphones to u s e s t h e s t u m p d i ff e r e n t i a t e c l e a r l y between the sounds created by different sources, which helps in deciding the close- calls in LBWs and bat-pad situations. Hot Spot is an infrared imaging system used in cricket to determine whether the ball has struck the batsman, bat or pad

TECHNOLOGY USED IN FOOTBALL GOAL LINE TECHNOLOGY: G o a l - l i n e t e c h n o l o g y i s a t e c h n i c a l m e a n s o f i n s t a n t l y d e t e r m i n i n g w h e t h e r t h e w h o l e o f t h e ball has crossed the goal line. The International Football Association Board requires that goal-line technology (GLT) does not interfere with the game.

TECHNOLOGY USED IN GOLF Sensor technology has helped golfers in a variety of ways. Distance-measuring lasers* instantly inform golfers of the distance required for any shot with a simple point and click. Golfers can also use swing sensors as teaching aids. Swing sensors can attach to gloves or clubs and measure swing speed, tempo and angle

TECHNOLOGY IN VIEWER'S RESPECT W A G O N W H EE L H E A T M A P Wagon Wheel is a graphic representation of the cricket field particularly the top view. From the batsman's position, lines are drawn towards the field. Heat maps are one of the analytical tools used in many games. In Football, heat maps are used as an indicator of the scope and frequency of a player's movement.
