Current Picture The board of directors of the bank, in a meeting on September 24, decided to reduce the face value of equity shares of the bank from Rs 10 per share to Rs 1 per share and to increase the number of issued shares in proportion thereof," said the company in its filing. So 1 share will be 10 shares after stock split. The current stock price of SBI stock is 257.55 rupees If 1 lac (1000 shares) was invested at IPO price in 1994, it would have been 1000 x 10 x 257.55, which is roughly 25.7 lacs .
