AUCTION
A quick info about Auction: A list of 15 companies will be given for which the teams have to bid. The company will go to highest bidder. A team can buy a maximum of 3 companies. The closing bid price will be multiplied with the last 1 year stock price return. After multiplying, these points will be converted into money. This money will be used for Portfolio Construction in round-3. Any points left unused after the auction will be deducted from your money.
Example: For example, Team A has 4000 points. After Auction team A has bought Adani Wilmar for 2000 points and TAAL Enterprises for 1500 points. Now this points will be multiplied with the last one year return i.e., 2000*175% = 3500 Rs, 1500*183% = 2745Rs. Now 3500 points are converted into Rs. 6245 The unused 500 points will be deducted from 6245. Hence the final money is 6245-500 = 5745
