Final Assessment Storage Worthy Godowns: 6.97 LMT of godowns have been assessed as immediate storage worthy which can be utilized for acceptance of Rice during this season. These capacity shall be utilized by liquidating Wheat on priority. Godowns requiring Minor Repair works : 2.63 LMT storage capacities have been identified as storage-worthy with “Minor Repair Works’’ which should be prioritized so that these capacity are available by f irst week of January-2025 and the same can be utilized by FCI for acceptance of Rice. Godowns requiring Major Repair works: 2.95 LMT storage capacities have been identified with requirement of “Major Repair Works’’ which is a matter of concern. State has to focus on these capacities to make it available to FCI before March-2025. Overall, 12.55 LMT SGAs capacities can be hired by FCI and rest of the capacities are not storage-worthy due to reasons like flood prone area, unrepairable floors due to dampness, mills premises etc. 6

8 There is additional requirement of 12.28 LMT capacities after taken all CAP capacity available with FCI and State Govt. Agencies. All Dos are directed to liquidate stock from Storage Worthy SGAs godowns on priority for accommodating CMR. All DOs are directed to Coordinate with SGAs for the Minor and Major repair of SGAs godowns within the timeline. All Dos are requested to ensure proper planning of requirement of wooden crates, tarpolin covers and other necessary arrangement well before commencement of RMS 2025-26.
