Suggested Classroom and Birthday Snacks
Snack Time: Students have a daily snack time before or after first
recess each day in 2
nd
grade. Please only send water to drink. We also
have a water fountain in the room.
Birthdays: Students may bring a special snack or treat on their
birthday. We will share this at our normal snack time.
I have created a suggested list of classroom and birthday snacks to help
focus more on nutrition throughout the day. I hope you will use this
suggested list as a guideline and are welcome to be creative using any
other healthy, easy to serve foods. I also ask for the items to not be too
messy and easy to distribute too many students. Thank you for your
help in teaching good nutritional habits!
