1. Analysis: The two layouts here shows the amount of glare entering the building from various directions. 1.The first layout shows the sun glare entering in ample amount in the lobby area of the building on the 10 th floor.The duct acts as the medium of sunlight in the building above 5 floors. 2.The second layout indicates the sun glare entering from the windows of the units from east,west and south direction ,which is on the 1 st floor .The lobby area is not lightened in the lower floors of the building. The green curved portion indicates on the left indicates the sun path with respect to the building orientation.
