Newspapers are placed in jute bags. For the Suite rooms and the Taj Club rooms the newspapers are placed in a leather bag. All newspapers must be delivered before 5am. The housekeeping staff collect the bags. Newspaper Delivery

Guests have to always be greeted with a warm smile and the time of the day (Good morning/Good afternoon/Good evening). Staff should always know the locations of all the banquet halls, restaurants, stores & other outlets. Greeting and Escorting

Registration cards must be slotted according to the surname name of the guests. The Registration card should be sorted with the key cards. Welcome letters should also be sorted with the Registration cards. Bills must be sorted depending on the respected floors except suite rooms and club rooms. Slotting of R egistration cards and bills

When a guest appears towards Reception the bell boys request them if they need any help with their baggage. The baggage is then sorted and tagged with the respective room numbers. Baggage Sorting

The standard baggage delivery time of a bellboy is 8 minutes after the guest checks in. The baggage should be placed in such a way that the handle always faces the guest. Baggage delivery
