@ sih idea submission template SOLAR MOVEMENT DETECTION KIT WITH AUTOMATIC MOVEMENT TECH BUILDERS We will use a low conductivity metal plate which will release electrons when light with sufficient energy falls on the metal plate(PHOTOELECTRIC EFFECT).The released electrons will produce a photocurrent.The produced photocurrent will stop the solar panels at one place.When the position of sun will change the light energy will not be sufficient to produce photocurrent and the solar panels will revolve in the direction of the sun and then stops again. Light Dependent Resistor can be used for making light sensing circuits. The solar panels will be in the direction of the sun which will make maximum light fall on it and Increasing its efficiency which will make maximum electricity for the householf and commercial purpose. We are using photoelectric effect and LDR for light sensing device and increasing its efficiency.it will always align to the suns position with the help of photoelectric effect and making it more economical and more simpler to be made. 2

Photoelectric Effect : Metal will release electrons from its outermost surface when sufficient amount of light energy falls on its surface producing photocurrent. Motor : It will revolve the solar panels in the direction of the movement of the sun TECHNICAL APPROACH Solar energy on the panel Release of photoelectrons from metal surface Photocurrent produced Maximum electricity produced Solar movement then photocurrent stopped motor rotates aligning solar panels

FEASIBLITY AND VIABLITY @SIH Idea submission- Template 4 TECH BUILDERS The given solution is more feasible and economical as it uses basic concepts of nuclear physics and electrodynamics and we are using LDR for light sensing devices instead of arduino which makes it more cost effective than the already produced once. We can say that there is no sun light in the night so the motor will revolve the panels in the absence of light We can use clippers or clamps for stopping it revolution and we can also make a switch which will off the motor when we don’t the system to work.

@SIH Idea submission- Template 5 TECH BUILDERS IMPACT AND BENEFITS The target audience will be household consumers,factory owners and even space satellites . By increasing the efficiency of the solar panels we can increase power generation making it more economical for the households , industry and spacecrafts Within the same time we can generate more power making it more economical . It does not creates any pollution so it is also environment friendly. With this increased efficiency spacecrafts can operate for longer period of time collecting more information for the mankind and human can also access more power than before at lower cost.
