FixingDoorHinges
1.Openthedoortobeableto
seethehingethatneedstobe
repaired.
2.Loosenthescrewsinthe
hinge.Checkiftheholesfor
thescrewscanstillbefixed.If
thesecanstillberepaired,the
screwsmaybetightened
properlyusingscrewdriver,in
somecases,itcanalsobethe
screwswhichareneededtobe
replaced.

3.Iftheplacewherehingeshould
befixedisdestroyed,youshould
transferittotheotherpartofthe
doortobefirm.Flattenthehinge
andmarkwithapencil.Putholesin
themarkedplaceusingauger.You
cannowputscrewandtighten
them.
4.Ifadoorcannotbeopenedor
closedeasilyandquietly,itjust
needsoil.Slightlypullupthehinge
pinanddropoiltothecornersof
fastenerdoor.Wipetheoilbefore
openingandclosingthedoorfora
coupleoftimes.

5.Ifthenoiseofthedooris
stillthere,openthedoor
widelyandputasmallpieceof
woodandremovethehinge
pin.Putsomeoilatthehinge
pin,removedirtandrustusing
steelwool.
6.Useasmallpipecleanerto
cleanthehingepinholder.Put
backthehingepincarefully

FixingCloggedSink
1.Ifthewaterinthesinkdoesnotflowdownward,itmay
clogged.Itcanbecauseoftheleftoversorthestoredgrease.
Boilwaterandpourittothesink.Youcanalsousebakingsoda
tofixthecloggedsink.

2.Ifthecloggedsinkis
stillnotfixedusinga
boilingwater,use
rubberpump.Fillinthe
sinkwithwaterand
pumpit.Dothisfora
coupleoftimes

3.Ifthecloggedsinkisstillnotfixed,
dothefollowing:
a)Placeabigbasinunderthesink.
b)Openthescrewswhicharepartof
theV-trapthatcanbefound
underthesink.
c)Scrapewiththeopeningpartof
theopenedV-trapwithknife.
d)Bytheuseofthickandlongwires,
scrapethebendedpartofthe
trap.
e)Pourboilingwatertothesink.
f)PutbackthescrewsundertheV-
trap.
g)Pourboilingwateragaintobesure
thatthecloggedsinkisfixed.

ChangingofRoundMalePlug
1.Cuttheoldplugfromthewireandcutaninchfromitsend.
2.Putthenewplugintothewire.
3.Separatethetwowiresuptotwoincheslength.
4.Removetheskinofwireuptohalfinchlengthfromitsend.
5.Tiethewiresusingunderwritersknotto
avoiditfrombeingpulled.
6. Twirl the skinned wires. Bend the end of the
wires for them to turn clockwise.
7. Fit the loop to the terminal plug.
8. Tighten the screws of the terminal to avoid
the wire to be pulled. Make sure that the wires
are wrapped properly at the screws.
9. Put back the cover made of cardboard to keep the screws and exposed
wires.

ChangingSwitch
1.Turnoffthelineofthe
electricitythatisconnectedto
theswitchtobereplaced.
2.Loosenthescrewsatthecover
oftheswitchandremove.
3.Loosenthescrewsinsidethe
switchwhichhinderthewires.
4.Removethescrewthathinders
thebodyoftheswitch.

5.Wrapthewiresinside
clockwise.Makesurethatthe
screwsareplacedproperlyto
tightenifthescrewsare
fixed.
6.Putbackthescrewsatits
oldarrangementandplace.
Checkifitopensandcloses
properlybeforeputtingback
theswitchcover.
