Telemetry Solution Components Optical channel management Optical channel management Wavelength grooming Pre-chirp Maximum launch power Receiver sensitivity Minimum OSNR Residual dispersion Wavelength grooming Gain, Non-linearity management EDFA – gain, NF Raman – FW, BW, RIN ROPA - power, wavelength Client STM 1-64 10GE, 100G Client STM 1-64 10GE, 100G Fiber loss Firmware, Mgt, OAMP Firmware, Mgt, OAMP Optical channel management , software Amplification Tejas strength IPG strength Telemetry products contain three equally critical technology components Optical channel Amplifier Software

Tejas is considering two options to continue to serve this market Both options leverage IPG’s amplification strength and Tejas ’ strength in transponder, FW/SW, global support Tejas and IPG are in joint discussions (not finalized) Option 1a : Partner with IPG to assume and lead all OSTP and EAR business Continue to provide support for the deployed base ( Tejas will be Tier 1 and 2, IPG Tier 3) Initially Tejas is only sales & support channel while IPG produces OSTP and EAR products and supplies to Tejas Per previous plan, over time, migrate OSTP and EAR solutions to IPG OneHorizon or Tejas equivalent Planned to overcome component obsolescence, density improvement, data rate enhancement Tejas responsible for final product, but implements own technology for optical channel management and SW using IPG amplifiers IPG supplies amplifier technology to Tejas (EDFA, Raman, ROPA) Option 1b : Same as option 1a, except Tejas to use IPG OSTP but its own platform for EAR Driven by IPG’s ability to support SW and transponder functions of the product Option 2 : Tejas to use its current transponder platform with IPG amplification for all cases Most feature rich (built in OTDR, channel monitor, EMS etc ) Choice between the the options driven by customer preference and component availability issues In both options, Tejas will introduce new features to enrich the product performance Better management, built in provisioning and troubleshooting, secure cloud services New interfaces such as 100G, GPON, 5G/FWA etc Product Continuity Proposal

Tejas will lead the support to the customer Tier 1 and Tier 2 will be led by Telemetry solutions expert out of the US: Chris MacGregor Tier 3 will be provided by IPG (managed by Tejas ) Tejas support team background Trained and Certified resources for Optical, DWDM, PTN, MPLS, OTN, CEM, GPON NMS and EMS deployment and integration 24/7 Technical Support teams collocated with R&D Spares, Maintenance and Support of complex networks Support

Tejas Platform for Telemetry Solution TJ1600-2 2RU, 19” Wide, 300mm deep, Full Front Access TJ1600-6 4RU, 19” Wide, 300mm deep, Full Front Access Platform for 2-port EDFA with output powers from 15dBm to 26dBm Compatible with Tejas NMS Filler Booster Pre-Amp Add HCPSLINE25 10G transponder to the amplifier solution 5x10G Transponder Tunable optics FEC-enabled optics Solution includes Dispersion Compensation Modules Raman Amp Raman Amplifier provides an additional ~10dB of gain

Muxponder : 2x10G +16xSTM-1/4/1GE Added flexibility for legacy low data rate service aggregation Optical Performance Monitor Allows for monitoring of multiple WDM channels across the C-Band. Optional feature will also monitor OSNR for each channel OTDR Modules can be used for real-time fiber monitoring DCM modules for fixed dispersion mitigation Additional Options/Enhancements Line 08 1G:10G Muxponder Optical Performance Monitor OTDR Module DCM Module
