CIRCLE A circle is a shape consisting of all points in a plane that are at a given distance from a given point, the center . Equivalently, it is the curve traced out by a point that moves in a plane so that its distance from a given point is constant.
CIRCLE states a shape that consists of points, in a two-dimensional plane, equidistant from a given point. A circle is a closed curve that has no corners or vertices.

TYPES OF ARCS
SEMICIRCLE An arc with a measure equal to one-half of the circumference of a circle. It measures 180 o . It is named using two or three endpoints of the arc.
