1. Broken Heart

2. Daniel and Cathrine were just two regular people in the neighborhood, they saw each other once
in a while, but the interaction never passed more than Hi, how are you And it has been a long time
oh, just like that.
Daniel spends more time with Cathrine's sister Rejoice, sometimes they could spend a whole day
together talking and sleeping, they even cook together and many people think they are dating
because Rejoice spends more time with Daniel than she did in any other place or person.
What ma y people don't know is that their talk never goes beyond personal or intimate details.
They just have that regular friendship chemistry even though Daniel cares about Rejoice, it has
never gone beyond hugging even if that is done reluctantly.
There was a time when Daniel kissed Rejoice and it was so awkward that he was ashamed and it
took a few days to overcome It.
Mind you, Rejoice is beautiful and Daniel likes to tease her that she has the shape of a coke bottle.
There was this particular time they were together and Daniel was just staring at Rejoice.
"What is wrong"? She asked him

3. Daniel smiled inwardly and approached her, holding her chin, he raised her head while she tried to
turn away when their eyes met.

Nevermind he said while holding her hand and bringing her closer to him, she resisted at first but
gave in when he cupped her chin and whispered in her ears" That was not a kiss, but a peck on the
cheek, he moved his lips from her ear, and kiss her neck and he could feel her tense. He then
stroked her cheek with his left hand while using his right hand to press her lower back to his groin
area, wanting her to feel his hardness.
When she leaned into him, he raised her chin and looked her in the eyes" Open for me please"
She parts her lips, just as he brings his hard-on hers.
He was the one doing the kissing, so he pulled out" Kiss me back he told her.

bolting.
All this was going on while Cathrine wasn't around then, she traveled back then, to another
location and she visited once in a while but never had to run into Daniel.
One evening Daniel was going out when he saw a very beautiful lady with a killer shape, a hip as
curvy as the letter S, he was transfixed, and then the lady turned and greeted him and behold, it
was Catherine.
"Good evening Daniel.
Good evening Cathrine wow is this you?
Yes! She said smiling.
When did you return?
Three days ago.
Wow, and I don't know.
Sorry about that.
And that was how they started.
Daniel and Cathrine could talk about anything and everything, they talk about sex and their escape
and things they have done, secrets that no one knows but just the two of them. Daniel advised
Cathrine about guys and their tricks " See let me tell you as a guy, the only thing we need from a

at night he finds a place he can hide to take his drugs and when he is high, he has the mind to hide
in a dark corner and rob unsuspecting people walking home.
Sammy will call Cathrine by Eleven o clock in the night and demand to see her and she will give
an excuse at home in no time she will be with Sammy and he will subject her to all manner of
sexual brutality and when he is done, he will send her home and yet nothing has been done about
it because her mother is poor and struggling, she has no one but her children and she couldn't even
do her daughter anything because Cathrine is far gone and listen to no one.
Daniel came to know so much about Cathrine and sometimes he felt like all his advice was a
waste because Cathrine never listened to anything, she would make the same mistake again and
again and when Daniel pointed it out, they would have a fight and trade words.
"Cathrine, how can you be so stupid?
You are the stupid one.
That guy is using you, can't you see you are wasting away due to the drugs?
Fuck you, I feel fine.
No, you don't, just look at yourself how can a beautiful girl be so stupid to be used as trash?

she is someone he loves and care about and yet he is powerless to change he mind about things
and he is so powerless to counsel her about drugs and sex not just because he can't, it is because
she will not listen and it will lead to a fight and that is what he doesn't want.
One night, Cathrine was with Daniel and her brother Gideon at Daniels's house and they were
watching a movie it got late so Cathrine and her brother spent the night with Daniel.
That day marks a new chapter in their relationship because they start spending time together and
doing things together and tongues start wagging that they are dating when Daniel tells Cathrine
about the rumors " Cathrine people think we are dating.
Let them think whatever they want, I don't care.

One night Cathrine came to Daniel as angry as a viper and Daniel noticed she was really angry
and mad Daniel already knew she had a temper, stubborn and acted brashly. She has no manners
and can do things with the seek of doing it to irritate others and sometimes she has no respect even
for her mother.
So when she came that night angry and ready to unbleached her temper and tantrum, he looked at
her and deep down, he was sad to see a beautiful girl so full of anger and stupidity"What is
wrong? He asked her.
It is my mother.
What did she do?
She said I had damaged her phone.

Daniel will let it be, as a quiet and gentle man he be and someone who hates fighting and
quarreling but this keeps happening until he reports her to her mother and she confronts Sammy
and that is the end of it.
Cathrine started behaving well and came home early when she closed from work, all was going
well and there was peace, love and laughter in the house. They start mending their bonds and
trying to be there for each other again, it was so good that Daniel had a nice and beautiful night to
look to whenever he was out knowing a beautiful woman would be home waiting for him.
But they say nothing lasts forever and the peace he was enjoying was shattered by a new arrival, a
new guy named Chris.
Chris is a useless guy who spends most of his time trying to scam others of their hard-earned
money, he is broke and smells a lot but one thing that no one can deny is that he is very handsome.
One day Cathrine told Daniel about Chris and how he was trying to date her" I like the way he
talks to me and he is behaving maturely.
But even a blind man can tell he is a waste, a scammer who earns from others' sweat.

How can I be jealous of someone who has no value or lacks any principles?

7. And there was a kind of normalcy after that, Chris was afraid and kept his distance from Cathrine
and it was so for about a month and she was behaving like a good girl then one day it all burst
when she lies to Daniel at midnight only to go out because Chris called her just because he needs
sex, and Daniel had to go out that night looking for her afraid something must have happened to
her but when he sees her with Chris, that was the last straw and his temper flare real hot, he was
going mad and Chris had to run away but Catherine was not even remorseful and so that night he
told her just a few words " In the morning, you are leaving my house.
Please don't send me away.
You are stupid and behave like someone without a brain I can't deal with that anymore.
I don't want to go home.

Then go and stay with Chris.

Daniel had a mocking laugh and shook his head, you are something.

That was how their beautiful relationship came to an end, not because Daniel did anything fact he
was loving, and caring and took care of her very well to the best of his abilities, it ended because
of Catherine's promiscuity and her ability not to listen to the voice of reasons.
Daniel and Catherine go their separate way not with the love they used to share, but with hatred
and bitterness and malice.
Love can be many things but how we handle it, will tell us if it will flourish or die.
