an investor must register a
company in Estonia.
Registration Requirements
The legal form used for operating as an
electronic money is the Estonian public
or joint-stock company.
Approved Business Form
Estonian companies applying for EMI
must:
have a minimum share capital of
EUR 350,000;
deposit the capital in cash.
Capital Requirements

provided under an EMI license
in Estonia:
digital money issuance;

operation of payment
processing equipment.
