Feeling good about yourself Your clothes are talking about you! “A picture speaks a thousand words” What you wear expresses how you feel about yourself. What your clothes say about you is within your control. Looking your best always demands careful attention to personal grooming and the clothing that you wear.

What you wear says a whole story about who you are or at least who you are presenting yourself to be. Whether you like it or not, the first impression is that you make is visual . This means paying attention to every little detail about you and your dress is important.

Hair Clean, neatly cut and not extended below the ears. It should be at or above the collar line of the uniform or shirt Always combed & frequently s hampooed Face Clean shaved Moustache should be well trimmed Sideburns should not be longer than the length of the ears
Hands Regularly washed. Nails should be short, clean, even length and well trimmed. Jewellery restricted to one ring. No earrings for males. Simple watch should be worn. Shoes Clean & polished . Laces should be neatly tied. Wipe your shoes always after you freshen up. Socks to be clean.
A Properly Groomed Woman would exhibit the following minimum standards
Hair & Face Hair to be tied neatly into a bun(French bun or simple bun). Hair should be left open only if above shoulder length. Minimal and black hair accessories only. Make-up should be light and subtle. Light to medium shades or else specified by the management.
Hands Nails should be clean & well manicured. Nail paint should be light to medium colour . It should not be chipped. Earrings to be restricted to one pair only. Simple necklace and two rings. Simple watch should be worn. Shoes Low heels are appropriate and should not revealing heels or toes.
Tips for Personal Grooming Well coordinated conservative colors work best. Light colored shirts with dark colored trousers. For Shirts- Best business shirts are still plain white or blue and smart stripes Your collar must fit you well.
For Trouser- The straight pleat or without pleat works best The length & crease of trouser is important. Do wear a belt, matching with shoes and not flashy one For Ties- Stay coordinated and smart. The color should match your shirt, trouser or suit. Make sure it is well knotted.
