CONTENT ● Abstract ●Introduction ●Objectives ●Advances in Solar Energy ●Advances in Wind Energy ●Advances in Hydroelectric Energy ●Geo-Thermal and Biomass ●Some Other Inventions ●Conclusion

Abstract : ● Renewable energy has become an increasingly popular alternative to fossil fuels in recent years due to concerns over climate change, energy security, and the potential for long-term cost savings . ●Advances in renewable energy technology have made it more efficient, affordable, and accessible, leading to greater adoption around the world. ●This abstract will provide an overview of some of the recent advances in renewable energy

● They include improvements in solar, wind, geothermal, hydroelectric and bioenergy technologies and explore potential solutions to these challenges. ● Overall, the advances in renewable energy hold great promise for a cleaner, more sustainable, and more secure energy future

Natural Resources The Materials occurring in nature which are used to support life and people’s needs are known as Natural Resources ● Forest. ● Wind energy ● Solar energy ● Fossil Fuels

Non Renewable Resources Fossil fuel like oil , coal , petrol Forest Minerals Non Renewable Resources ●The Natural Resources that are consumed in large quantities but takes more time to Regrow. ●They can’t be remade as quickly as people need it ●They also harm our environments and are the main cause of pollution.

Renewable Resources ● Natural Resources that even after consuming a lot, has no effect on the supply of these Resources ● These are never ending or Regrow very quickly and eco-friendly too! Such as ▪︎ Solar Energy ▪︎ Wind Energy ▪︎Hydro(water) ▪︎ Biomass. ▪︎ Geo-Thermal

●To know the Renewable Resources ●To know the Side effects of Non Renewable Resources & Solutions ●To know about recent Inventions and advances in Renewable Energy. ● Measures to be taken to save earth Main Objectives :

Solar Energy ● Solar Energy is derived by capturing radiant energy from sunlight converting into Heat , electricity , hot water. ● The photovoltaic systems convert the sunlight directly into Electrical energy through photo cells inbuilt in the panels ●These panels absorb the light and stores in the form of energy

● Sunlight is functionally endless, So there is limitless supply of the energy. ●Hence it can be easily replaced with fossil fuels ●Also builds good environmental conditions and improves public health. ● The panels cost high and are very expensive ●It occupies a lot of space and requires very high maintenance ●No energy will be generated at nights & cloudy days. Less in the winter & rainy seasons Benefits Drawbacks

Advances in Solar Energy

Wind Energy Advances in wind turbine have led to the development of efficient turbines. Additionally, innovations in blade design & materials have increased the efficiency of wind turbines. Longer blades on wind turbines can capture more energy, leading to increased electricity generation.

● Researchers are exploring the use of materials such as carbon fibber to make wind turbines lighter and more efficient

Hydro Electric energy Advances in hydropower technology have led to the development of more efficient turbines, which generate more electricity. The use of pumped storage hydropower has also increased, allowing excess energy to be stored for use when demand is high.

A hydropower system, uses a dam to store river water in a reservoir. Water released from reservoir flows through a turbine, spinning it, which in turn activates a generator to produce electricity

Biomass Bioenergy involves using organic matter, to generate electricity/heat. Advanced technologies include anaerobic digestion, which converts organic waste into biogas. Advances in biomass technology have led to the development of more efficient biomass stoves and boilers, which use wood, agricultural waste, and other materials to generate heat and electricity.

Natural Gas Geothermal energy harnesses heat from earth’s interior to generate electricity/heat. Advanced geothermal technologies include enhanced geothermal systems, which involve injecting the water into hot rock formations to create steam that can be used to generate electricity. This has led to the development of more efficient geothermal power plants. Geo-thermal Energy

Recent Inventions in Renewable Energy Resources

Conclusion: ●Finally, advances in regulation have played a critical role in growth of renewable energy. Many countries have introduced incentives & regulations that have encouraged in adoption of renewable energy
●Overall, the Advances in renewable energy have made it a viable & attractive option for meeting the world’s energy needs, while reducing greenhouse gas emissions and addressing climate change.

●A major contributor to the world’s energy. ●Advances in renewable energy have made it more cost-effective and efficient. ●One of the most notable inventions is the continued reduction in the cost of solar photovoltaic (PV) panels. This has made solar energy cheapest forms of electricity. ●Additionally, advancement in wind turbine, made wind energy more reliable and efficient.
