Is a shaping and cleaning system designed for minimally invasive endodontic treatment Self adjusting file system
The new SAF technology uses a hollow compressible Niti file, with no central metal core , through which a continuous flow of irrigant is provided
The SAF has lattice like design makes the instrument extremely flexible in all three dimentions to fit the cross section of the canal at any vertical location
The SAF is the first file that does not have a solid metal shaft is designed as a hollow tube with rough outer surface
This technology uses a new concept of cleaning and shaping in which a uniform layer of dentin is removed from the root canal thus avoiding unnecessary excessive removal of dentin
The SAF allow for effective cleaning of all root canals including oval canals, thus allowing for effective disinfection and obturation of all canal morphologies
The SAF is avaliable in three standard lengths ( 21mm,25mm,31mm ) and two diameters ( 1.5mm,2.0mm )

RDT hand piece operates the SAF with 0.4mm amplitude vertical vibration and designed to be operated at 5,000 rpm RDT hand piece
RDT hand piece heads the only hand piece that provide the combined motion of vertical vibration and rotation required for proper operation of SAF
The RDT hand piece is designed to sustain prolonged exposure to sodium hypochlorite
The VATEA system is a self contained fluid delivery unit intended to deliver irrigant solution during endodontic procedure VATEA system
The irrigant is delivered via a disposable silicone tube The flow of irrigant toggled by using a foot pedal and the operator can adjust the flow rate by using -/+ push buttons
2- SAF proSystem :- include the endostation endodontic motor The Endostation is a multi functional endodontic motor that enable the user to operate various endodontic system including SAF and all major brands of rotary and reciporcating file
The Endostation include peristaltic pump and irrigation system The irrigation system are operated by foot pedal
A large LCD screen and audio are used to indicate the flow rate , working time and battery status

When comparing with other rotary system there is economic value thanks to the SAF because of the additional clinical benefits including avoidance of post operative pain, highly efficient endo treatment, the ability of improved cleaning and disinfection in short time with less risk and less complication
