2. Building of the Titanic
The Titanic construction started in
March 1909. There thousands of men
who worked to build the Titanic. The
Titanic was built at the Harland & Wolff
shipyard in Belfast. She was not the
only ship being built. She has two
sister named Olympic and Britannic.
The construction of the Titanic ended
in April 1912.

3. The Maiden Voyage
The Titanic left Belfast, on April 2nd,
1912, to Southampton in England.
After she picked up passengers from
Southampton, she headed off to
America.

4. Unsinkable Molly
Brown
One person who was famous on the
Titanic was (Unsinkable) Molly Brown.
She helped get people on the
lifeboats. She ended up on Lifeboat 6.

5. The Sinking of the
Titanic
The Titanic sank on April 15, 1912, at
2:20 am. Before that the Titanic
received 6 ice warnings. But they were
ignored. Another reason the Titanic
sank, was that there were not enough
lifeboats. In the end, only 706 people
survived.
