Topic: The Whole Brain Theory

LESSON 1: DIFFERENT PARTS OF THE
BRAIN AND ITS FUNCTIONS

The Whole Brain Theory
•Paul Broca, French
anthropologist and
pathologist
•In1861,whileconductinga

PaulBrocatheorizedthat
somelanguagefunctions
resideontheleft
hemisphereofthebrain.

The Whole Brain Theory
•Dr.RogerSperry,who
wasawardedthe1981
Nobel Prizefor
PhysiologyorMedicine,
explainedthatthebrain

The Whole Brain Theory
•Hisstudiesdemonstrated
thattheleftsideofthe

2. Lower Left (B)
Limbic Mode Key
