In 1992, X, based in West Yorkshire made history by winning the English Football
League First Division, the last season before the formation of the Premier League.
Their manager, Howard Wilkinson, led the team to a memorable title triumph.
However, the journey to success wasn't without its challenges. During the season,
Wilkinson famously took a bold step by signing Y from French club Auxerre. Y's impact
was immense as he scored several crucial goals, helping X secure the championship.
This triumph marked X's last top-flight league title to date. Y's contribution and X's
remarkable season continue to be remembered as a significant milestone in the club's
history.
Now for Y, he then made a move to man utd in the 893 season, and later went on to
become one of the greatest strikers the Premier League has ever seen.
Sadly for X, the 892 first division finish was the last moment of monumental glory that
they9ve acieved till date.

Q03.
In the 2002 FIFA World Cup quarter-final match between X and Y, a moment of brilliance—or
controversy, depending on whom you ask—unfolded when Z scored a memorable goal against Y.
The goal came in the 50th minute from a free-kick that left many debating its intent. From his
own perspective, Z has stated in various interviews that he saw goalkeeper David Seaman off his
line and decided to take a chance at goal, asserting that the strike was deliberate. On the other
hand, David Beckham, has expressed his skepticism, suggesting that the goal was more of a
fortunate accident than a calculated move. Many Y players, including Seaman himself, have
echoed this sentiment, attributing the goal to a misjudgment rather than a masterstroke. They
argue that the trajectory and the distance made it seem improbable that Z intended to score
directly from that spot.
Regardless of the differing opinions, the fact remains that Z’s goal was pivotal in securing X’s 2-1
victory over England, propelling them further in their World Cup campaign.

In the 1994 FIFA World Cup, X faced Y in the final. The match ended in a 0-0
draw after extra time, leading to a penalty shootout to determine the
champion. Z, one of X's star players, stepped up to take the decisive penalty
kick. Known for his skills and accuracy, Z unexpectedly blazed the ball over
the crossbar, securing Y's victory. It was a shocking moment as Z, who had
performed exceptionally throughout the tournament, missed the most
crucial penalty. The miss haunted him for years and became an iconic image
in World Cup history. Despite the disappointment, Z's talent and
contributions to the sport were widely recognized, and he remains one of the
most respected players in X till date. ID X, Y, Z

Following one of the most iconic matches of X’s career, where Y triumphed over Z, an intriguing
phenomenon occurred in Spain, often attributed to X's match-winning performance. X, already a
beloved figure in Spanish football, solidified his legendary status by playing a crucial role in Y’s 2-0
victory.
His dazzling display of skill and composure not only inspired football fans but also seemed to
influence a significant demographic trend. Reports from Spanish hospitals indicated a noticeable
increase in birth rates roughly nine months after the match, a spike that many linked to the euphoric
celebrations following Y’s triumph. The term "X baby boom" was coined to describe this surge, with
several parents even naming their newborns after him.
This also laid foundation to the fact that sporting success DOES trigger baby booms.

Q08.
Corner kicks are, some statisticians believe, one of the most underestimated and under-
utilised areas of the game. While free-kicks around the penalty area produce beautiful
goals when converted, there is so much variation in positioning that there is less to plan.
And, invariably, players shoot anyway (this approach is slowly decreasing due to data, but
that’s a whole other column).
But now, Liverpool and Google _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ have created an artificial intelligence program
that can devise more effective corner-kick routines than humans, in a move that is likely
to revolutionise football’s approach to tactics.
Development of the technology was led by X scientists who worked in close collaboration
with the Merseyside club to create a system that it is claimed offers improvement on
human-generated tactics in 90 per cent of cases.
Identify X which is also used in the different sports like Go,Tennis,Cricket…etc
