computedbetweenscoresonthevarioustests.
Therewerepositivecorrelationsamongallthetests,withsome
morehighlycorrelatedthanothers.
Thurstoneconcludedthat intelligenceconsistsofbothgeneral
abilityandanumberof specificabilities.
Thurstoneidentifiedtheaboveabilitiesaftercreatingasetof 56
tests.
Administeredthistestsetto 240collegestudentsandfromthe
resultsanalysis,ThurstonedevelopedthePrimaryMentalAbilities
theory.
