2. DOES LILLPUT HAVE EP’S Lilliput Records currently does not display EP’s on their website.

3. What is an EP? An EP which stands for extended play is a short song tracks consisting of only 5 tracks which is less than a full album but more than a single. This is a way for artists to display their best songs out to the world. ( TheHouseOfMarley . 2024, Para 2) “ Typically, an EP will have three to five tracks and is considered a significant album format for artists, especially emerging ones. It allows musicians to showcase a broader range of their work without the commitment of producing a full album.” Imagine an new up and coming artist wanting to display their music but doesn’t know how. The best thing they can do is make what we call a demo which displays their top five best songs showcasing their broaden works. Releasing EPs also allows the new artist to explore their different genres, and slowly build a fan base.

4. What is an LP? “An LP record, or Long Play, refers to a vinyl record format that typically contains a full album. In the digital music era, LP has come to be synonymous with a full length album, regardless of the medium. An LP usually contains at least seven or eight tracks, offering a more comprehensive representation of an artist's work.” ( TheHouseOfMarley . 2024, Para 8)

5. DOES LILLPUT HAVE lp’S ? Lilliput Records does have LPs Vinyl records available in their store. The Aerosmith records displayed in the store has 16 tracks while one of his other records has 10 tracks. Both records meet the requirements of an LP album.

10. SWAG items No swag items were present in the store. The store no longer has any available mostly because the artist don’t provide the any for the store to display. The clerk said they don’t haven’t had any in a long time.

11. Summary In conclusion this would be an excellent store to help promote an indie artist album. If artists David Michael Frank was local here in Milwaukee WI the best form of marketing would be to first to build his social media presence online ie music videos. Once he has a decent following the next step is to send emails using their direct website and request performance events that can be sponsored by the record company. In local events the word of mouth is always the best solution especially if you are trying to turn online audiences into real life in person audiences. Another form of word of mouth is collaborating with other other talented artist that are within the same music genre and or even have ties to the local record companies that work with new indie artists. Lastly live performances at local venues are sure to attract local record companies. Personal that work at the record companies are always seeking new indie up coming artists in the area in order to promote new talent. In conclusion these are just small steps that can be taken for long term success in the foreseeable future.
