JSPM’s Rajarshi Shahu College OF Engineering Department of Computer Science and Engineering A Project Presentation On Fingerprint based patient identification system RFID based E-passport system Smart Agriculture System Under the Guidance Of Mrs.M.S.Patil By Sanskruti Taware (TYCO 37) Ruchita Kakade (TYCO 48) Sangini Karande (TYCO 50) Dipali Khamkar (TYCO 52)

Presentation Outline: Basic Info S/W Hardware Requirement Literature Survey Adv and Disadvantage Future Scope Source

Fingerprint based patient identification system Introduction We propose a solution that enables emergency medical technicians to have simple and fast, remote and token-free, as well as privacy preserved and reliable access to patients’ medical information. The idea is to provide the Doctors with software through which they gain access to necessary details of patients using the patient’s fingerprint.

Hardware and Software Requirement Hardware Processor - Core 2 DUO and Above RAM - 1GB Hard Disk - 30 GB   LAN Cable - 4 Finger print Device( ScanFingerprint ) Software Operating System: Windows and Linux Technology: Java 8 Database: MySQL Eclipse IDE

Literature Survey Health care industry is vulnerable to scamming and identity theft owing to nature of information it collect, generates and stores [1]. Over the past decade, People go to hospitals, where various forms of physical identification are provided to a medical professional to determine identity of individual seeking medical attention[2] Biometrics needs in healthcare to improve risk Management by ensuring patient privacy & medical records for individual patient [3]

Advantages Require Fingerprint device Database can be used in emergency condition. High security of using fingerprint device. More convenient for authentication. Reduction of medical record errors. Global Access of medical history of patient. Disadvantages

Future Scope We will also add X-ray scanning Disease Prediction based on Symptoms

RFID based E-passport system Introduction A technique of programming the system for creating the valid and an electronic identification document are provided. An electronic passport act as a legal usable form of identification Smart cards provide portable containers for an account, public key, and biometric data

Hardware and Software Requirement Hardware Processor - Core 2 DUO and Above RAM - 1GB Hard Disk - 30 GB   LAN Cable - 4 RFID Card and Scanner Software Operating System: Windows and Linux Technology: Java 8 Database: MySQL Eclipse IDE

Literature Survey “The study of recent technologies used in E-passport system” In above paper, it is mention to improve the passport system, RFID can be used as an alternative of carrying physical passport. This will be help to reduce the paper usage and can easily be carried.

Advantages Require one time Hardware setup Maintenance of hardware This project will give us clear idea about the Electronic passport system which is much more beneficial for the airports and universities. It also reduces the burden of documentation as well as it reduces the time consumption Disadvantages

Future Scope Face recognition can be used for better security purpose. All data can be clouded/ stored in data base for verification

Smart Agriculture System Introduction Automatic supply of adequate of water from a reservoir to field Human control should be removed from irrigation Continuously monitor the soil moisture level to decide whether irrigation is needed

Hardware and Software Requirement Hardware Processor - Core 2 DUO and Above RAM - 1GB Hard Disk - 30 GB   LAN Cable - 4 Arduino M oisture Sensor Software Operating System: Windows and Linux Technology: Java 8 Database: MySQL Eclipse IDE

Literature Survey IOT in Precision Agriculture Applications Using Wireless Moisture Sensor Network . This paper suggest that automatic irrigation system was designed to continuously sense the moisture level of the soil. The system responds appropriately by watering the soil with the exact required amount of water and then shuts down the water supply when the required level of soil moisture is achieved.

Advantages It requires probe to be inserted in the soil. It requires labor to collect the data and maintain the measurement processes. It is good source of saving water. Simple method of measurement. It delivers the results immediately. Offers accurate results. Disadvantages

Future Scope 1. We will try large scale implementation a more powerful water pump(motor) can be used. 2. Also a microcontroller should be used to accommodate more than one sensor input
