INTERNATIONAL UNWTO - United Nations World Tourism Organization The World Tourism Organization is the United Nations specialized agency entrusted with the promotion of responsible, sustainable and universally accessible tourism, having its headquarters in Madrid, Spain. ICAO - International Civil Aviation Organization The International Civil Aviation Organization ( ICAO) is a specialized agency of the United Nations. It changes the principles and techniques of international air navigation and fosters the planning and development of international air transport to ensure safe and orderly growth.

IATA - International Air Transport Association Aims to promote safe, regular and economical air transport, faster air commerce and study problems connected with the industry. Involves standardizing of tickets, prices, airline air way bills, baggage checks and other documents WTTC - World Travel & Tourism Council The World Travel & Tourism Council is a forum for the travel and tourism industry. It is made up of members from the global business community and works with governments to raise awareness about the travel and tourism industry.

NATIONAL – INDIA NTO - National Tourist Organization The National Tourist Organization (NTO) is the body responsible for the formulation and implementation of national tourist policy. It is the proper agency and instrument for the execution of the national government's responsibilities for the control, direction and promotion of tourism. ITDC - Indian Tourism Development Corporation Indian Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) is a travel and tourism organization in India, which is responsible for the development and promotion of Indian tourism at domestic as well as international level.

TAAI - Travel Agents Association of India Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI) was incorporated during 1951, 4 years after Indian Independence. It continues most effectively with quality growth and ability to support industry growth. TAAI is India’s premier, nodal, largest and oldest Travel & Tourism Association.

TAAI has a large membership who is actively involved in several industry verticals, and thus its focus is to promote these effectively and connect members with opportunities. TAFI - Travel Agents Federation of India The Travel Agents Federation of India (TAFI) is a dynamic organization that guides the travel industry in India. A professional body of Travel Agents coordinating different segments of the travel trade, TAFI is a non political, non commercial and not-for-profit body.

IATO - Indian Association of Tour Operators The Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO) is the National body of the tourism industry. It has over 1600 members covering all segments of Tourism Industry. Established in 1982, IATO today has international acceptance, and linkages. It has close connections and constant interaction with other Tourism Associations in US, Nepal and Indonesia, where USTOA , NATO and ASITA are its member bodies; and is increasing its international networking with professional bodies for better facilitation to the International traveller visiting not only India but the entire Region.

ADTOI - Association of Domestic Tour Operators of India Association of Domestic Tour Operators of India (ADTOI), National Body of Domestic Tour Operators, constituted on 7th August 1996 with the express purpose of consolidating the efforts of all those tour operators who are actively engaged in the promotion of "Domestic Tourism" in the country.

ATOAI - Adventure Tour Operators' Association of India Adventure Tour Operators' Association of India (ATOAI), was founded in 1994 with handful of members. 20 years after its nascence, it is a national body comprising over 200 members across the country and abroad actively promoting Adventure and Eco Tourism in India.

ATTOI - Association of Tourism Trade Organisations India ATTOI’s prime objective is to create awareness within India and overseas about the potentials of tourism in India. ATTOI is also here to bridge the gap between countries and instrumental in promoting tourist destinations abroad to the mass market within India. Equally important is our Endeavour in promoting eco tourism, responsible tourism, environment conservation and the unsaid ethical way of doing business.

IRCTC - Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) is a fully owned subsidiary of  Indian Railways  that provides ticketing, catering, and tourism services to the  Indian Railways . It was initially wholly owned by the Government of India and operated under the administrative control of the Indian Ministry of Railways, but has been listed on the National Stock Exchange since 2019, with the Government continuing to hold majority ownership.

The Indian Railways conceptualized and built IRCTC to bolster tourism by tying up with travel agents, tour operators, and hotels. Around 14 lakh people book through IRCTC in a day which gives the railways a huge advantage to provide its guest with hospitality services.

TFCI - Tourism Finance Corporation of India Tourism Finance Corporation of India was set up a specialized all India Financial Institution to financing/funding requirements of the Tourism and Hotel industry. It was set up as a specialized cell to cater to the needs of Tourism and Hotel Industry.

REGIONAL Regional tourism organizations are independent, not-for-profit organizations, led by the tourism sector. They play an important role in supporting competitive and viable tourism regions. Each of these organizations provides coordination and provides the required regional leadership.

PATA - Pacific Asia Travel Association  PATA was founded in Hawaii in 1951, to develop, promote, and facilitate travel to and among the destination areas in and bordering the Pacific Ocean and South Asian region including India. It has a membership strength of over 2,000 organizations that represent governments, airline and steamship companies, hoteliers, tour operators, travel agents, and a wide range of other tourism-related organizations. .

PATA is a non-profit organization that focuses on creating travel opportunities in member countries and providing up-to-date information for its members in the fields of marketing, development, information, education, sustainability, and other travel- related activities. During the annual meetings, its members exchange ideas, seek solutions O problems, and participate in shaping the future of travel in Asia and the Pacific area. TA assist small and upcoming destinations by providing expertise in planning and infrastructure development

ETC - European Travel Commission European Travel Commission (ETC) is a non-profit body formed by the coming together of the national tourism organizations of various European countries. The commission works towards promoting international tourism within Europe by way of exchange of information on marketing techniques and development projects. It also undertakes travel and tourism related research. The activities of the European Travel Commission are supported by the European Commission.

IOTO - Indian Ocean Tourism organization The Indian Ocean Tourism organization (IOTO) was formed in the interest of the countries in the Indian Ocean Region. It works towards enhancing regional cooperation and understanding through sustainable tourism. It was founded in the year 1995, has member strength of twenty-five countries and is headquartered at Perth, Australia. The vision is that every country in this region will optimize its own potential in a sustainable manner for the benefit of its people.
