Training needs presentation report

1. Training in Biodiversity Research department There is need to train up researchers to manage our protected areas through wildlife monitoring and habitat management

2. Department of veterinary services We need to train veterinarians who will manage the health of the wildlife

3. Experts in GIS and Remote sensing There is need to enhance skills for resource mapping through modern technology such as use of GIS, GPS, Remote sening etc.

4. Wildlife Forensic studies We are also looking forward to train people in the field of forensic science so as to combat wildlife crime

5. Tourism operations management Training staff as customer care to manage revenue collection from the protected areas.

6. Corporate services There is need to establish this department

7. Data technicians We need training in data entry and data management

8. Law enforcement mentors There is need to train Trainers of Trainees (TOTs).

9. Wildlife pilots We have aircrafts to facilitate wildlife conservation activities and there is need to train our own pilots
