The treaty that brought world war 1 to an end… On June 28, 1919, the signing of The Treaty of Versailles officially ended the World War 1.

What was the purpose of the treaty of Versailles, 1919? The purpose of the Treaty of Versailles was to create restrictions against Germany, limiting its army to 100,000 soldiers, which was imposed my President Wilson.

What does the treaty of Versailles 1919 consist of? Consisting of 15 parts, and 440 articles, this treaty reassigns the boundaries of Germany.

Who created or planned the treaty of Versailles 1919? Known as the “Big Four”, Woodrow Wilson of the United States, David Lloyd of Britain, Georges Clemenceau of France, and Vittorio Orlando of Italy were national leaders that represented their countries at the signing of the Treaty of Versailles. The four were known as the “principal architects” of the Treaty of Versailles.

Where was the signing of the treaty of Versailles held? The signing of the Treaty of Versailles was held in the Hall of Mirrors at the Palace of Versailles

What did Germany have to do in return of war? In return, Germany had to pay 55,000,000,000 in reparations for the damage done to the United States after World War 1. However this debt was payed off on October 3, 2010. Although in the mean time, Germany has to still pay off war debts for the second war, World War II.

How did the Germans feel about the treaty? The Germans felt that the treaty was unfair, and it violated the “Fourteen Points”, and it would eventually ruin their economy.

What were the “fourteen points”? The “Fourteen Points” were a list of war aims created by President Wilson published in January 1918.

Was the treaty of Versailles successful? The Treaty of Versailles was considered successful and also a failure. One of its success were creating the League of Nations, an intergovernmental organization dealing with the treaty. However, the Treaty of Versailles was said to be the cause of another war, World War I.
