It made an effort to advocate collaboration, financial development, and cultural pride among African nations in order to overcome the legacy of colonialism and apartheid. The African Renaissance was intended to position Africa as a major actor on the world stage, with South Africa in the centre of initiatives to use African solutions to address topics like political instability, poverty, and inequality.
