READING
Reading Read the text: Start by reading the text carefully. Try to understand what it is about. Identify the main idea: Think about what the text is mostly about. What is the most important thing the author wants you to know? This is called the main idea. Find key details: Look for important details that support the main idea. These details help explain or give more information about the main idea. Ignore the less important parts: Not everything in the text is equally important. Ignore the small details and examples that are not crucial to understanding the main idea. Put it in your own words: Now, try to explain the main idea and key details using your own words. Don't just copy from the text. Use different words to say the same thing. SUMMARIZING
Read Chapter 1 and Summarize the text Remember, a summary is shorter than the original text. Try to express the main idea and key details in a few sentences. Make it concise and clear. Read your summary aloud or ask someone to listen to it. Does it make sense? Can others understand what the text was about based on your summary?
Writing Choose a theme or topic: Think about what you want your play to be about. It could be an adventure, a friendship story, a fantasy tale, or anything that interests you and is appropriate for kids. Create characters: Come up with interesting characters that will be part of your play. Think about their personalities, traits, and how they relate to each other. You can have a main character or a group of characters working together. Develop a plot: Decide on the sequence of events that will happen in your play. Start with an exciting opening, introduce conflicts or challenges, and plan how they will be resolved. Make sure the plot is engaging and keeps the audience interested. BROADWAY!
