Indian Cuisine Indian cuisine consists of a wide variety of regional and traditional cuisines native to the Indian subcontinent. Given the range of diversity in soil type, climate, culture, ethnic groups, and occupations, these cuisines vary substantially from each other and use locally available spices, herbs, vegetables, and fruits.

Cajun cuisine Cajun cuisine (French: Cuisine cadienne , [ kɥizin kadʒæ̃n ]), (Spanish: Cocina acadia ) is a style of cooking named for the French-speaking Acadian people deported by the British from Acadia in Canada to what is now called the Acadiana region of Louisiana.

Mediterranean cuisine is the foods and methods of preparation by people of the Mediterranean Basin region. The idea of a Mediterranean cuisine originates with the cookery writer Elizabeth David's book, A Book of Mediterranean Food (1950), though she wrote mainly about French cuisine .

Canadian cuisine varies widely depending on the regions of the nation. The three earliest cuisines of Canada have First Nations, English, Scottish and French roots, with the traditional cuisine of English Canada closely related to British cuisine, while the traditional cuisine of French Canada has evolved from French cuisine and the winter provisions of fur traders.

Jamaican cuisine includes a mixture of cooking techniques, flavours , spices and influences from the indigenous people on the island of Jamaica, and the Spanish, Irish, British, African, Indian and Chinese who have inhabited the island.
