2. Drawing is an artistic expression. It is created with the marking of lines into paper or other material where the representation of the visual world is expressed.

3. Drawing helps a person to express his/her feelings and creates an art.

4. A drawing can consist of: 1. sketch 2. plan 3. design 4. graphic presentation with the help of pens, pencils, or crayons, depending on t he purpose.

5. Life drawing- created based on direct or real observations. It is also called still life drawing if you use objects (such as vases, flowers, fruits, among others) for art subjects. You call it figure drawing if you use models such as person or a cat.

7. 2. Sketching- created using free- hand or loose drawing. Sketching is used for fast- thinking artists.

8. 3. Illustration- a type of drawing created in order to show the basic features of an object. Architects use this type of drawing in order to illustrate the basic figure of a building.

9. 4. Cartoon- a drawing featured in newspapers and magazines that tells a joke or humor that criticize. Cartoon characters are popular in the format of comic strips and animation.

10. 5. Caricature- a drawn image showing different structural features in an exaggerated way. Caricature means “loaded portrait.” It is created using real- life characters.
