HISTORY OF LOGISTIC The birth of logistics can be traced back to the Greek and Roman empires when military officers titled ‘ Logistikas ’ were assigned the duties of providing services related to supply and distribution of resources.

History Around 2700 B.C.: Material handling technology in pyramid construction. Blocks of stone weighing several tons were transported and assembled at the construction site.
