In this session you will learn about the current state of NRCS's primary planning tool: Conservation Desktop (CD) /Conservation Assessment and Ranking Tool (CART), how NRCS is overcoming obstacles of slow bandwidth and internet speeds and share the vision of future workflows and AI tools usage to benefit all NRCS and partners working directly with producers.

3. How AI Can Improve learning how to use Conservation Desktop/CART Problem: CD/CART Lesson Plans are 1422 pages and the CD/CART Users Guide is 1398 pages These documents are updated every 12 weeks. CD/CART has over 10,000 users accessing the tools that need to be constantly trained or updated on changes as they are happening. Proposed Solution: Use Knowledge Buddy AI tool to quickly find answers to users questions within CD/CART.

4. How AI Can Improve Learning for Certified Planners? Problem: There are almost 6,000 certified planners at various planner levels that need continuous training. There are multiple documents online and in hard copy that a planner has to be able to find to look up answers. Proposed Solution: Use Knowledge Buddy AI tool to quickly find answers to certified planners outside of a web application.
