INTRODUCTION Visual resources are important in education system. Visual resources   are those devices which are used in classrooms to encourage students learning process and make it easier and interesting. Visual resources are the best tool for making teaching effective and the best dissemination of knowledge. 3. VISUAL RESOURCES Visual resources or aids are those aids which we can see via our eyes. These are helpful to visualize the things. 4. CHARACTERSTICS OF VISUAL REASOURCES Teaching aids should be meaningful and purposeful. It must motivate the learner. Teaching aids must be accurate in every aspects. It enhances teachers ability to present the lesson in simple, effective and easy to understand for students. Teaching aids must be easily portable . 5. TYPES OF VISUAL RESOURCES Visual aids are broadly classified into two main categories . They are, 1. Projected visual aids. 2. Non – Projected visual aids. TCP PRESENTO 2020, THIAGARAJAR COLLEGE OF PRECEPTORS, MADURAI.

6. PROJECTED VISUAL AIDS Projected visual aids  are pictures shown upon a screen by the use of a certain type of machine. There are mainly two types of visual projector aids . They are, OVER HEAD PROJECTORS POWER POINT PRESENTATION TCP PRESENTO 2020, THIAGARAJAR COLLEGE OF PRECEPTORS, MADURAI.

8. Power point presentation Power Point  can be  used  as a tool for  teachers  to create visually content rich presentations with multimedia. Power Point  improve the students' learning motivation, increasing authentic materials for study, encouraging interaction between the  teacher  and the students.. 9. Non – projected visual aids Non projected visuals  are those  aids  which are used without any  projection . So they translate abstract ideas into a more realistic format. 16. heme POSTERS MAKING There are five points to make a poster. They are, The theme idea is clearly started. Way of presentation in a simple and bold in letters. 22. Visual resources ADVANTAGES It helps in motivating a new topic. Posters allow peer to peer interaction. Photograph helps easy interpretation of content. Flashcards make learning easier. Models concretizes abstract concepts. DISADVANTAGES Flashcards can become boring when using separately. Some models are rarely used in the real world. Some models are very costly.
